littlе big

I have a little tale for you, if you venture to listen. A little tale about a big man.

He was born in a big world full of small people. His parents were little, too, — it was a big surprise for the whole (big, just to mention) family. His big brother was twice as small, despite being an adult, and his grandma would fit in his own palm! Can you imagine that?

Let's overleap the details of his growing up. The big man stepped into maturity, full of big ideas, big questions...

And, of course, big dreams.

The biggest dream of his was that, someday, small people would rise up, un-shrink and become big, just like him. So they would blow up a world fire together and the big man would not feel lonely. There were too many small people around, who pretended to be big, so he felt uncomfortable being big by nature.

In the adulthood, there was a way too big amount of small troubles to solve. Not having made a big name, the big man was forced to share small pieces, live with small-minded people and be thankful for small mercies. Long story short: his bigginess was not a big deal for the others, but became a constant worry for him. Having heard about Big Kahuna, the Big Bang Theory, the big man asked himself: what's the purpose of his size?

The big man still felt lonely. Somehow he met a small woman, who ultimately broke his big heart.

It was his big time. If the world would not shrink, then it is the big man who should.

A little time passed and the big man hopped into the small swimming pool of everyday life: small talks, small games, small business. He got to know people around and, step by step, they started to seem little, not small. Wanna-be-biggers were still in the sight, but the big man felt no more worries about his size.

It’s a big luck — though he became as little as the others, his soul remained big.
