The mistake of the West and our chance was that the West did not see that Putin would not be an analogue of Yeltsin or Gorbachev. His hands were tied.
Year after year, he restored this and that, what and how was in his power. Despite the fact that he did not have and does not have the opportunity to change the destructive financial and economic model. In 2007, Putin delivered the Munich speech. The essence of which is that Russia does not agree to be completely destroyed according to the plans of the West. But the situation in Georgia and Ukraine was already completely controlled by the United States.
Therefore, in 2008 Georgia attacked South Ossetia. In 2014, in Ukraine, the United States and its European vassals (Germany, Poland, France) carried out a coup d’etat, which had been prepared for a long time (V. Nuland reported about 5 billion dollars - but this is not the entire amount, not for the entire period) as part of the Ukraine = anti-Russia project . For many years, the people have been deliberately zombified, although only a certain part of them managed to zombify.
The genocide of the Russian and Russian-speaking population began. Not everyone in the West knows that the politicians of Ukraine, as a rule, did not know the Ukrainian language and they had to learn it somehow, while introducing all sorts of discrimination against the Russian-speaking population.
Here it is necessary to make a historical excursion. Ukraine within its modern borders is a purely Soviet project (project, perhaps, anti-Soviet, but a project of the times of the USSR). Half of this Ukraine is Novorossia, that is, historically has nothing to do with
territory to Ukraine and Ukrainians (shown in green on the diagram below the text). Further, Little Russia (shown in yellow on the diagram). By the way, this is one of the most ancient Russian lands, as you know, Kiev is the mother of Russian cities. And on the left - Galicia is artificially separated on the map (orange-brown). This small part of Ukraine in modern history as part of the USSR (Ukrainian USSR) ended up as a result of World War 2 (previously Galicia was also part of Russia, for example, in the 13th century, in the 19th century it was also part of Poland as part of the Russian Empire).
In Galicia, anti-Soviet and anti-Russian sentiments were developed, and it was the ideology of the Galicians, anti-Russian and largely fascist, that was taken as the basis of the Ukraine=anti-Russia project. Ideologically, the whole of Ukraine was supposed to become Galicia. It is clear that the anti-fascist Russian-speaking population of Novorossia and partly Little Russia could not agree with this moral and physical violence. Although most of them ended up under the yoke of the Ukrainian fascists, Crimea managed to achieve independence from the fascists, and the Donetsk and Lugansk regions became a battlefield for Russophobic fascists with the local population.
When Russia recently issued a statement that the US and NATO should guarantee Russia's security and non-proliferation of NATO, the US, Britain and their vassals decided to respond with aggression, declaring Russia the aggressor. For this moment, weapons were supplied to Ukraine for many years, training was conducted by American and other instructors, Polish and American PMCs were delivered. And grossly violating the Minsk agreements, Ukraine opened a massive artillery shelling of the territories of the DPR and LPR, creating conditions for the transition to the offensive and the seizure of the territories of the DPR and LPR. The goal is to provoke Russia into retaliatory actions to protect these republics, which otherwise can be turned into an empty one, covered in ruins.
Thus, "fighters for democracy" all over the world use the territory and population of Ukraine as "fuel" and cannon fodder in the NATO (USA and Britain) war against Russia. And these "great democrats", but in fact the minions of global satanists, demonize and blame Russia only and precisely because they themselves seek to destroy Russia.
