We have maps of reality in our heads. If people have wrong the maps they make wrong decisions, so move in the wrong direction.

Media distort peoples’ perception of reality. Unfortunately honest TV and radio reporters can only be found in fairy tales.

Lies are usually easy to digest and they are believable, because they are designed that way. The truth is often twisted, not very easy to comprehend, and difficult to believe in. The truth is distorted in the media and we live in a sea of misinformation.

It fact, the TV and radio complex has become so skillful, that it can make most people think whatever the media want them think.

TV and radio reporters skillfully fill the news with distorted facts to mislead us in the way they have been told to.

There is very little truth in the media that the reality behind the media reports can be understood only from voice intonations and occasional slips of the tongue.

A united people pose a danger to rulers. Media can make people argue or fight over an idea. This is good news for the rulers, because divided people can’t unite against evil.

What is the purpose of misleading people? Most TV and radio reporters do their best to divert people’s attention with all kinds of crap, so the people have no space left in their minds to think about such fundamentals as the economy.

Journalists are trained to crawl into our confidence through our judgment filter.

How do people get programmed or brainwashed? Repetition is obviously one of the ways. If people repeatedly hear an idea from an authority, this idea can be put into people’s minds,

When people hear an opinion repeated on TV and radio over and over again, they assume that it is true, and base their judgments on it they repeat it to their friends and colleagues as if it were their own opinion.

Some people lack good critical thinking skills. It is easier to put an idea into a person’s mind before they have formed an opinion of their own.

It is painful for closed-minded people to change their mind and admit that they were wrong.

Most people are driven by emotions which have been imposed on them by media.

Most people have been brainwashed to the point that they could go and start pulling each others hair out and have forgotten all about the politicians responsible for the mess in the first place.

It takes most people quite a while to realize that most ‘heroes’ promoted by the media are often traitors while the real heroes go unnoticed.

Politicians meanwhile keep catching fish in muddy waters, snatching cash and stacking dough in their pockets.

Like puppet masters, journalists skillfully exploit this weakness in people’s psyche. Media are designed to stimulate harmful addictions.

Different people have been brainwashed to various degrees. The majority of people are susceptible to being brainwashed by propaganda. Only a tiny minority has a real immunity to bullshit.

Sometimes we don’t see the forest because of the trees. It takes people a while to realize to what extent they have been brainwashed, and question the sources of misinformation.

Most people are unable to sort this out, because they are so busy making ends meet that they don’t have the time to compare different sources of information. By the time they sense that something is not right, the media machine draws a new and equally distorted picture of reality. People are thus buried under media-generated stacks of lies.

Whom our media serves to with all this misinformation is a separate issue, but it’s definitely not the people, they feel safer when people are confused. Neither the media nor the government is on the people’s side.

The news in our media is certainly entertaining, but is so divorced from reality, that if a person completely excludes the news from his life for a couple of month, he or she doesn’t lose anything, but may even stay mentally healthier.

Do we really need to be fooled and be puppets in other people’s games? Can’t we just ignore the media’s efforts to brainwash us?
