Darkness, light and freedom

The creativity of Dmytro Buzynnyi is something unusual even for our tumultuous times. He uses his expertise in three languages (Russian, English, Ukrainian) to promote the idea of a perfect world through revealing its numerous imperfections. His approach to poetry is comprised of asynchronous and wild metaphors and synecdoches, as well as long periods of inner references, asbstract humour and macaronic speech. By deconstructing the aesthetics of spiritual literature and fantasy genres, he creates the bayronic alter-ego of a spiritual seeker trapped in a world of chaotic and toxic conflicts, materialism, greed and solitude. His approach is to observe and deride, and here is how he deals with the subjective displacement problem. Pay attention to his poetic works and enjoy their novelty.
