Traveller in Time

According to the novel written by Herbert Wells "The Time Machine"

Hello! My name is The Verb “To be”. I have got many names: Am, Is, Are – for PRESENT, Was, Were – for PAST, Will Be  - for FUTURE, Would be  - for FUTURE-IN-THE-PAST.

My hobby is traveling. I like to travel. Usually, I use my Time Machine to travel in time. For example, when I want to go to the PAST, I wear my uniform for the Past – WAS and WERE. People in the Past like this uniform and invite me everywhere. “Happy birthday!” I say when I come to somebody’s birthday. “Happy New Year!” I say when I visit a New Year party. People are very kind In The Past…

Once I was present at a party dedicated to the French Language. It was interesting. I didn’t know that there were a lot of languages: Chinese, Japanese, Italian, German, and others.

It is so interesting to travel! Bye!
