China is famous for its three treasures - green tea, qigong and jade. That's about jade and will be discussed in the synopsis of the story "Nine beads of horror"
Jade is the stone of the gods, according to the Chinese. Jades are different, expensive and not very expensive, but there is jade from which the seal of the heavenly emperor was made. According to legend, this jade gives immortality. Ling Lin is a jade factory worker and does not know herself that she is a descendant of those who owned the seal of the heavenly emperor. The girl has paranormal abilities, but carefully hides it from others.
 The strange life of a girl sometimes turns into unbearable. Ling Lin's entire childhood was haunted by secrets. Parents were too strict with the girl, and only the intervention of grandparents made life relatively bearable. And then her parents and grandparents died. Ling Lin was left alone. The voices that sounded in her head haunted the girl all her conscious childhood, until her grandparents moved her bed into their bedroom.
After the death of her relatives, the horror that haunted her all her childhood resumed, only now the horror has turned into a threat SMS. Lin Lin changes SIM cards, throws away the old phone and buys a new one, but nothing helps. A number that only Lin Lin knows so far receives a threatening SMS. Ling Lin has only two friends - these are her classmates. However, an unknown tormentor brutally cracks down on Lin Lin's friends.
For those around him, the death of Ling Lin's friends is strange and mystical, for Ling Lin herself it is unbearable grief and complete loneliness now. Unexpectedly, Ling Lin learns that her grandparents were prisoners in a Japanese death camp, this death camp was called "Unit 731". Grandfather and grandmother, as well as the other seven descendants of the emperor, were kept separately from the rest of the prisoners.
 Ling Lin has an unexpected admirer - this is a friend of distant relatives who came on an excursion to Beijing and said hello to Ling Lin and a small gift - a special kind of green tea. The girl is wary of her new friend Zhang Li, but still has to share her worries with him. Zhang Li and Ling Lin go to see a famous psychotherapist, but during the hypnosis session, the doctor dies. The doctor's death is as mystical as the death of Ling Lin's friends. And then a new friend, Zhang Li, witnesses a strange story with mother Shi, a friend of grandmother Ling Lin. It is from Mother Shi that Ling Lin learns that her grandparents were prisoners of Unit 731.
To understand everything to the end, Zhang Li and Ling Lin fly to Harbin. There is a small town of Pingfang near Harbin, and Detachment 731 was based on the territory of Pingfang. And now, in Pingfan, she is easily transported into the past and hears the voices of her grandparents, who are held as prisoners in cell number nine. The horrors of Pingfang drive Ling Lin unconscious. Zhang Li, after consulting with the doctor, decides it's time to leave Pingfang. The lovers return to Beijing by plane.

These temples are located on the territory of nine cities, which were formerly the nine ancient capitals of China. Why didn't grandfather put the beads together himself? Because Grandpa doesn't have the ability that Ling Lin has. Only she can find a sacred place where she will be helped to turn the beads back into the seal of the emperor.
Zhang Li disappeared.
The red-haired young man who swore love to Ling Lin went to his parents to ask for blessings and stopped communicating. Ling Lin was left alone again. She is in no hurry to follow her grandfather's instructions, but an unknown tormentor begins to hunt for distant and close relatives of Ling Lin. People are dying strange deaths. The girl suspects that Zhang Li is not who he claims to be. It seems to her that the young man is not a man, but a red fox Gumiho, who can take the form of a person, but this is just a guess.
Ling Lin is hard and lonely, but she searches the map for ways to visit the ancient capitals one by one. Beijing is one of the ancient capitals, and here, too, there is a bead in one of the temples. Ling Ling is on his way. But, unfortunately, she manages to collect only eight beads. Time is running out and Ling Lin goes with the beads to the mountains, where, according to legend, the hall of the emperor's ghostly palace is located. It is here that she must be helped to turn the beads into a single seal.
