The boys decided to hide on the roof. But the trouble is, the roof was unusual, however, like the building that was on it. The building was Mr. Mo's house. The old Chinese built on the house from time to time, and now Mr. Mo's house had a strange appearance. Mr. Mo was an unusual person, he did not age, because according to rumors, he was the guardian of the secret city of Zhu, which was located somewhere near Vladivostok. It became quite cold and the boys decided to go into the house without asking. Not only did they come in, they also played tricks there and even took something from the house. However, when steps were heard, the boys realized that they had to run! Mikhail guarded the guys to scold or punish, and, therefore, the boys, having jumped off the roof, fled in different directions. The boys never saw each other again. And after that, horror entered the lives of the guys. Victor fell into a fever, Alexander and his mother urgently left the city, and Vladimir disappeared, and a severed child's finger lay on the door handle to his apartment. When Victor, the story goes on his behalf, came to his senses, he was pursued by a blue man who appeared every night in his window. In addition, many strange things happened to the boy. He heard sounds that others did not hear, the letters in the books began to behave strangely, they mixed up and the boy decided that he had forgotten how to read. But, the worst thing was that the blue man grew up to half an inch every night. Mr. Mo's house burned down, and Mr. Mo himself disappeared. Shaman Mitka, who was asked to help, said that as soon as the blue man finally grew up, nothing could be changed and Victor would die. To avoid death, Victor must do what he is destined to do. The boy has no choice but to pick up the strange colors that he took without asking in Mr. Mo's house and start painting. After the drawing was completed, Victor realized that Master Mo would never return. Now he, Victor, became the guardian of the secret city of Zhu.
