Free. Download. Qigong 2
I already told you that I don’t like to get stuck on something old for a long time, moreover, I get bored if I do something for a long time that I know well and have mastered almost perfectly. That's my nature, and there's nothing you can do about it. One day, and this happened a week ago, I suddenly realized that I could color the Qigong gymnastics with new elements, and then I wanted to do Qigong gymnastics again and again.
My brain is designed in such a way that I throw a lot of information into it, it puts this information together, and then, when the time comes, it gives out something new. Probably, this is how the brain of many people works, but I cannot be responsible for others, I do not know how their life works, how their brain works, I can only answer for myself. So, back to the experiments.
But first, let me repeat the story you read in the introduction. I relate to this story with reverence, because this dream gave me the impetus to write this book.
I had a dream, I wandered around some Chinese city, or rather, the market in a Chinese city. In a small shop, where a lot of beautiful things were displayed in the window, I chose, already leaving the store, about ten key chains. I hung a few of them on my finger, while the rest I placed in the depths of my palm. It was not very convenient to hold the key chains, the palm was tense. I remember I went looking for a seller or a cashier where I could pay, but I never found it. My palm was tense. I was afraid to drop the key chains.
After that, I suddenly woke up. Imagine my surprise when I felt the sensation that something was in my palm. But, of course, the palm was empty. However, the fingers were shifted and tense, as if holding something small in the middle of the palm.
I brought my hand up to my eyes. And then I remembered! I remembered my dream and was amazed. It turns out that our body lives everything that we see in a dream. Before that, I thought that dreams were only for the brain. The story of the palm in which key chains were put in a dream suddenly revealed to me a very important truth and gave impetus to the experiment that I am talking about. I do not remember the chain of my conclusions, but that evening I decided to conduct an experiment on myself.
Putting my hands behind my head, I began to pump the press. I did 10 swings. And then I gave my body an order, I ordered it to do these swings virtually. That is, my body was motionless, but at the same time, the brain was ordered to keep the body doing the exercises. And you know, to my surprise, I suddenly felt movement. I repeat once again, my body was motionless, but the press was tensed when, let's say, my second, virtual, body, rose and did exercises for the press. I felt these movements.
Honestly, I'm not imagining! Well, tell me, why not? Only because we are accustomed from childhood to know that we have one body, it is solid and can be felt, we do not allow the thought that we can have another invisible body.
Phew, you know, it's easier to do than to describe what you do. What happened to me was incredible. After the press exercise, I did a swing with my legs, that is, I raised my straightened legs and lowered them. And then I gave the task to my virtual body, or, as I will call it, the second body, to do the same. And I did it again!
However, when I did the bicycle exercise with my legs, nothing happened! The second, virtual body, could not repeat the exercise after the main body. Why do you think?
But still it was a victory!
Shocked by the unexpected discovery, I spent the whole day walking around on my own. The next day, while riding the bus, I tried to give a task to the second body and it worked! Press and leg swings were performed by the body. Again, I was sitting motionless at this time. I couldn't figure out how it works? I sit upright, and the body performs the exercises that I usually do while lying down. Then I again reminded myself that the possibilities of the brain are endless. When I returned home, I gave my brain a new exercise, I told it that I was in the pool now and I needed to swim. The arms and legs of the virtual body immediately began to move! Do you understand what happened? I didn't fantasize that I was swimming in a pool, I really was. Although I was aware that I was lying on my back, in bed, my second body, turning over on my stomach, swam, my arms rowed, my legs rose up and down in the water, that is, they did everything as we actually do when we swim. And today I made it more difficult. So far my second body has been doing the exercises with the first body still. Today, I have set a new challenge. I wanted two bodies to work at once - a real one and a virtual one. And I did it!
Do you remember where we left off in the previous chapter? That's right, we talked about relaxation. The topic of the next chapter will be the ability to relax, that is, relax enough to direct energy to the right part of your body. See you in the next chapter.
"Although relaxation is not mentionedare given in a special way in ancient yoga books - perhaps because it is common for a Hindu to become relaxed when he is inactive - however, there are many implicit indications, such as in 46 and 47 Patanjali's aphorisms: "Staying in a sitting position should be sustainable and bring satisfaction by easing effort…”
