CHAPTER 3 LEARNING TO RELAX

Tell me, what associations do you have with the word relaxation?

Maybe I will surprise you, but my word relaxation is associated with a clinic, doctors. Now I will explain why. I'm not talking about any particular doctor, I'm talking about kind people in white coats who are forced to inflict pain during the procedure, and in order to somehow help the suffering person, they ask him to relax during this procedure. They treat your teeth, take blood, try to understand the problem of your female ailments in the gynecologist's office, I generalize, as you can see, and in all these and a hundred other medical manipulations you are asked to relax.

For a long time I could not understand how it is to relax when you are hurt? I honestly always tried to fulfill the wishes of the doctor during the manipulations, but I never succeeded. Have you ever succeeded?

Sometimes it seemed to me that doctors say words about relaxation automatically in order to calm their conscience and at the same time the raging, groaning patient. But still I'm probably going too far. There are people in white coats, and there are a lot of them, so that offended patients who sincerely sympathize with their patients do not say.

As I said, the topic of this chapter will be relaxation. Only once I managed to relax at the doctor's, and this happened recently, two years ago, that is, at a time when I had already learned to relax using Qigong exercises. During the medical examination, I was offered to visit a gynecologist, and during the examination, which turned out to be a rather painful procedure, I was offered to relax. Obedient to the voice of the doctor, I relaxed and heard this:

“Wow, you listened to me, relaxed,” the doctor said, “I see this for the first time!”

So what is relaxation?

I don’t know how other people relax, I can only tell you how it goes for me. I give the order to the body, and it becomes large, pulsating and light. However, this is probably a generalized example. Let's try the relaxation effect on a specific part of the body, on the big toes.

I focus on the big toes, try to feel, firstly, the pulsation, and secondly, make the fingers feel bliss. I guess I described the process of relaxation in a rather complicated way.

Start over. So, having achieved a pulsation in the big toes, I try to convince myself that my fingers have become very light. If this explanation does not tell you anything, I will try to sketch out a third option. So let's relax our big toes. Let's imagine that the fingers are stuffed with cotton. I really like to fantasize, but, however, I want to stop on this third option.

Of course, if you wish, I can sketch 10 more pieces of equipment so that you finally understand how it is to relax. But I hope that these three options helped you and now you know what it means to relax some part of the body.

You know, today I got on the Internet, and I was curious, to be honest, I wanted to find relaxation techniques.

I don’t even know how to relax, but to explain to a person what it means to relax is quite difficult. This is probably comparable to how to explain to a deaf person what music is, or to tell a blind person what the sun looks like.

I hope that nevertheless my explanations were clear and now you will be able to hear with your inner ear and see with your inner vision. That is, they learned to relax. But back to the internet. I found a lot of yoga and qigong techniques on the Internet, one of the main elements of which was relaxation, but I did not find information on how to relax in any article.

A qigong master taught me how to relax. He took my hand and shook it. It was a long process, he shook and shook, until at some point my hand finally realized that it was already relaxed. Then the master, or as they are called in Chinese, shifu, let go of my hand.

Based on the foregoing, try, and you now relax your big toes. Relaxed? Happened? Excellent! Now let's relax all the other toes in turn. Relaxed? Now let's relax the whole foot. Your sensations should be approximately as follows: relaxation in the foot should be felt as a pleasant pulsation, warmth, pleasure and some kind of weightlessness.

However, each person's feelings may be different, their own! This is how I feel, and you may have a feeling that blood has rushed to the foot, or vice versa, feelings similar to a slight numbness may appear. However, this feeling has nothing to do with real numbness. As you understand, I am trying to describe in words what cannot be described. But I still try.

“You must have heard that each of us, in addition to the physical body, has other bodies? This is true. They are called the seven subtle human bodies and six of them cannot be seen. Where are the seven bodies of man? What function and role do these seven subtle bodies of a person perform? To understand in more detail the subtle bodies of the humancentury, they can be divided as follows. There are three bodies of the physical type, three bodies of the spiritual type and the astral body which is the bridge between these two groups. The lower three subtle bodies work with energy in the physical plane, while the higher three take care of the spiritual realms.

Each of the seven subtle human bodies differs in the frequency of its vibration. The higher the vibration, the farther it is from the physical shell. Also, each of the seven human bodies has its own shape, structure, color, density and location relative to other shells.
