Готовившие госпереворот в Германии планировали убийство канцлера ФРГ Олафа Шольца, сообщает The New York Times со ссылкой на источники, близкие к расследованию.

В ходе обысков сотрудники полиции обнаружили более ста соглашений о неразглашении, в которых заговорщики поклялись сохранять секретность планов группы. В них входили нападение и арест членов парламента, а также убийство канцлера. Нарушение договора, как сказано в соглашениях, карается смертью.

Кроме того, во время рейдов следователи обнаружили 40 единиц огнестрельного оружия, а также изъяли тысячи патронов для другого оружия, которое еще предстоит найти в спрятанных тайниках. На данный момент полиция арестовала 23 подозреваемых по делу о заговоре с целью свержения власти и ведет расследование в отношении еще 31 человека, отмечается в статье.

Ранее официальный представитель МИД России Мария Захарова сравнила попытку госпереворота в Германии с Евромайданом на Украине.

7 декабря полиция Германии предотвратила государственный переворот, который планировали организовать правые экстремисты. Злоумышленники хотели взять штурмом Бундестаг.

Those who were preparing a coup in Germany planned the assassination of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, The New York Times reports, citing sources close to the investigation.

During the searches, police officers found more than a hundred non-disclosure agreements in which the conspirators swore to keep the group's plans secret. These included the attack and arrest of members of Parliament, as well as the murder of the Chancellor. Violation of the contract, as stated in the agreements, is punishable by death.

In addition, during the raids, investigators found 40 firearms, and also seized thousands of cartridges for other weapons that have yet to be found in hidden caches. At the moment, the police have arrested 23 suspects in the case of a conspiracy to overthrow the government and are investigating another 31 people, the article notes.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, compared the coup attempt in Germany with Euromaidan in Ukraine.

On December 7, the German police prevented a coup d'etat planned by right-wing extremists. The attackers wanted to storm the Bundestag.
