JACOB'S DOUBT
What was Jacob thinking about his blessing (chase of which caused his whole life story until this) when he lost his son? Why is this simple question not in any commentaries? He was not just sad about the loss of son, it was about his whole faith and Yitzchak's blessing and his dreams - all this was proving to be meaningless junk! Or was he thinking "God flew too high to reach"? What was he thinking about his spiritual path, his "maaser" covenant? Did he "take responsibility", "saw opportunity in darkness", "saw death as illusion" etc?
"Fixing sin of Adam" is the only thing that makes some sense here.
And frankly, Yitzchak's blessing didn't imply Jacob has to be fixing the sin of Adam for 130 years of his life.
