Monotonne 37 album review

This is more than regular relaxed and laid-back trip-hop.
This is a near-to-perfect dystopian electro album with a sombre atmosphere of technocratic madness. This is deep and serious social statement.
The topics such as war, a videosurveillance abuse and its moral aspects, all shades of human moral imperfection and civilization-caused solitude and self-destuction are put into life from an ironic and eclectic perspective.

The name '37' self-evidently brings a chain of associations with and allusions to the so-called 'Executed Renaissance' , but they are transformed into a hipster-friendly, British alternative/Madchester scene-inspired narrative.
In fact, this is a compromise between the depth of the topic of inequality and oppression and the complexity of human psychological defence mechanisms that need to be bypassed in order for songs to actually be heard and sold.

A female vocal, as well as rap performed by men, are alluring and intriguing enough, and the technique is sophisticated enough to keep the listener hooked.

A concept album tackling with complex topics, the one that is solid from the point of view of meaning and bright/innovative by form, was created in Dnipro recently and is available for you on the band's Soundcloud account. Definitely must if you're into reading, non-fiction and futurologists in particular.

Always opt for quality music!
