Bracelet of love

“Innovation! Now all people, who are trying to find love, can easily do it! The bracelet of love shows in percent how much man and woman suit each other!” – the advertising has been everywhere: billboards, TV, internet.
The entire city has been talking about the bracelet already for a month. The bracelet of love collects all important characteristics of human compatibility such as qualities, physiques, habits, appearance, pheromones etc. When you meet a person like you, the bracelet shows compatibility level defined by what percent you fit each other. Also depending on percent on display, this bracelet lights up in red, yellow or green colors. The red color - 0 to 25 percent, people, who hardly get along. The yellow color - 26 to 80 percent, people, who can be good friends with you. And the green color, 81 to 100 percent, people, who can be more than friends with you. Everybody wishes to find a person with a full compatibility. It can be easy with marvelous technology. Bracelet can be used in any relationships. Many companies transform their teams according to compatibility. People begin to change their circle of friends, blocking red color. The main function, after all, is to find a second half. Everybody wants to get the bracelet of love. The government started to give them away for free. This became the new policy of creating happy families.
One girl, whose name was Caroline, was one of the few people, who got the bracelet. She was thinking about the experience of this month. Earlier Carrie dreamed about the bracelet. She, like many girls, wanted to find a big love, her prince, live in fairy tale… but now everything has changed. Caroline doesn’t understand why she is not happy. She found love. She thought, he was ideal for her.  And now me, Caroline, will tell you how it was.
It was a sunny day, warm wind was fluttering my dress and carrying away my thoughts. I was walking down the street and enjoying the ice cream when a boy rushed past me and knocked the ice cream out of my hands. Enjoyment had ended. And then my “prince” appeared, the bracelet shown the green color and 100 percent. The name of my ideal was Balder. He presented me his ice cream, which he bought a minute ago and it turned out that it was the same as mine – bubble gum. Our tastes matched, and romantic story has just begun. I got all I wanted. Balder turned my life into the fairy tale. I lived with him in a world full of colors and positive emotions. My favorite memory is our first date. He made me a surprise, we rode in a carriage drawn by 6 white horses and had a delicious picnic, where we were alone. And in the end, we were spined in a waltz. It all was like in my dreams. But days were slowly passing and now our relationship isn’t that interesting anymore. I am bored. Constant monotony, although happy, but BORING. It’s horrible! Balder is very good: handsome, smart, kind, responsive, generous, communicative and understands me, like I dreamed. But it is unreal. I stopped feeling life. The time has frozen in a happy day repeating over and over again. I know it by heart.
Our life consists of positive and negative emotions. If we don’t experience sadness, then we won’t be able to appreciate happiness. We have forgotten how it feels to be unhappy. And the borders between white and black disappear. I am tired of our relationship. I know every Bolder’s step, because our thoughts are the same. Everything is expected and the surprise is predictable. I can’t live like that anymore!
