Who should do this?

 On the television channel OTR (Public Television of Russia) they like to highlight acute social problems in our society, for example, about the threshold (level) of poverty in Russia, while they invite famous professors and popular personalities to the studio, then they survey the population on this issue, the speakers share their opinions  , what needs to be done for this, for example, introduce a progressive tax in Russia, as in many prosperous developed countries, increase the minimum wage, the cost of living, pensions, and so on...

 We, the people, watch this program, listen to what they say, what they offer, we agree with a lot... and we are perplexed, if everything is so simple, there is an example of other successful countries, then why is it still there?

 And I naturally ask myself the question...

 I wonder who should, besides us, the poor, watch this poignant television program in order to really, not in words, solve the problem of poverty once and for all?

 For example, it’s funny for me to watch it, because it’s essentially absolutely useless... unless it’s just rubbing salt in the wound...

 Do you think those on whom our well-being depends do not know how to do this?

 They all know this very well, they just don’t want to solve it and won’t, because it will hit their personal pockets, and what fool would voluntarily chop off the branch on which he sits and at the same time lives like God?

 We can complain endlessly, offer effective solutions, but the matter will not move forward, because this justice goes against the interests of the nouveau riche, the rich, they will never give up a single gram of their profits, countless wealth, and there is no such force in our society now  which will force them to share them fairly with the people...

 What about the president?

 The president will always find excuses and reasons why it won’t be possible to overcome poverty right away, the authorities and the state are fighting poverty, doing a lot of things, working tirelessly, assigning payments, trying, this way and that, but it doesn’t work out to the end...  this problem is too difficult and acute... because it’s a double-edged sword, you raise the minimum wage by 10%, and inflation jumps by 20%... the nouveau riche are not fools, they keep their ears to the ground, they quickly raise prices, they don’t let people run wild, especially  , reduce your profits!
