          (My fleeting musings...)

       Today I drew a portrait of Stalin.This is how members of the Union of Artists of the USSR typically depicted him on orders from state institutions, to be prominently displayed in the office of a leader. In reality, his face was malevolent, with a yellowish hue, covered in pockmarks.
       Joseph Stalin, who passed away on March 5, 1953, remains a highly controversial figure in history, sparking debates about his legacy and contributions to humanity. While Stalin is often remembered for his role in the industrialization of the Soviet Union and the defeat of Nazi Germany during World War II, his methods and policies cast a long shadow over any potential positive aspects.
       The question of Joseph Stalin's personality remains one of the most complex and debated issues in history. He was a pivotal figure in the formation of the Soviet Union, leaving an indelible mark on the history of the 20th century.        Я сегодня нарисовал портрет Сталина. Таким его обычно рисовали члены Союза художников СССР на заказ государственных учреждений, чтобы повесить на видное место в кабинете начальника. На самом деле лицо его было злое, желтоватого цвета, всё в оспенных точках.
       Иосиф Сталин, скончавшийся 5 марта 1953 года, остается весьма противоречивой фигурой в истории, вызывающей споры о его наследии и вкладе в развитие человечества. Хотя Сталина часто помнят за его роль в индустриализации Советского Союза и разгроме нацистской Германии во Второй мировой войне, его методы и политика бросают тень на любые потенциальные положительные аспекты.
