The proofs of the existence of the Living God

Any serious person necessarily wants to have proof of the existence of God. Another thing is that he can limit himself to faith in God, to whom the name pagan has firmly entered the culture of the people, as one of the gods. But we want boundless faith, a faith that inspires, a faith that is completely powerful, the faith that is given by the existence of One God.

However, faith in One God does not always require the existence of a Living God. We can imagine an existing Creator who gave impetus to all the processes in nature, and then we have no fundamental difference in the fact that this Creator is Nature itself, which natural science strives to understand, and then there is no need for us in the Living God, we say that we do not need her, as in an unnecessary hypothesis.

The Creator Nature is God, who left man alone with matter from the day of his creation, which is the fundamental basis of all things, therefore everything, including consciousness, soul, depends on matter, determined by matter. This is vulgar materialism, as Christian materialism now tells us, which holds a different point of view on the material.

Christian materialism is characterized by the fact that the Holy Spirit controls the universe and man. Moreover, the Holy Spirit is the power that the One God controls all living things and through life gives us all ideas about nature, now dependent on how a person learns about nature. As a governing force, the Holy Spirit is what is given to us by revelation from the Living God, and a Christian believes in the Holy Spirit, through whom we have an idea of how the Living God exists.

Christian materialism is at the same time subjective materialism, and it requires the objective existence of the Living God, who is now known in the Church, the Church founded by the Son of God, so that we confess our sins to Her. A Christian believes in the Son of God, who manifested himself at the beginning of a new era through the Path to Resurrection. The resurrection of Christ, the Son of God, is the central place of the Christian faith. The Apostle Paul said that our faith is in vain if there is no Resurrection.

But if we are Christians, then most of us are still Old Testament, since we honor the Law, we are not free from sin and must consider ourselves individually the worst in this world. This is the way of our salvation, because otherwise, not through repentance of sins, we will not inherit the Kingdom of God, we will not get to Paradise, to eternal life. To become true Christians, we must become free.

The understanding of freedom was given to us by the New Testament, we become free through the Church, therefore the Orthodox Christian faith requires regular visits to the temple where divine services are performed. The temple is that material thing that is the earthly Church, the embodiment of the Heavenly Church on earth.

There is a Living God in the earthly Church. Go to the temple and you will find the true God, the Living God, through the conciliar breath of the Holy Spirit. The existence of the earthly Church is the best justification for the Christian faith in the Living God. Amen. 3:47 19.03.2012

Discussion

You write that God is known in the Church, meaning not the house of worship, probably, but you call to go to the temple (with a small letter). You get the same thing. And these are completely different things. You can fully know God without straining your legs. Sergey Chekalin 03/20/2012 19:53
