The Nail and the Hummer

Once argued the Nail with the Hammer,
"Who holds more weight in the world's clamor?
Why must you always swing and strike?
Hush now, and I'll explain what it's like:
You're bound to the whims of us nails,
We bear the burdens without fails.
When we call, you must adhere,
For without you, progress isn't near.
Yet our thinkers, clever and bold,
Will solve this; new methods they'll unfold.
Without us nails, what would you be?
Just idle weight, tossed in the sea!"
But swift, the Hammer took to flight,
And found the Nail's cap in the night.
The Nail was driven, silenced fast,
And then the Hammer spoke at last:
"Foolish nail, understand the truth:
The most vital is neither me nor you.
It's the Hand that swings, decides our fate,
My role is simple, to strike, not debate.
To knock, to knock, and knock some more,
While the Hand holds the power to explore."
