Girl stalker 14
So, if you remember, I have two heroines. Each girl came here, to the Cemetery, with her own baggage of concepts, memories, dreams, and each girl had her own idea of what nature should be like. Fortunately, until now, the girls saw the same thing in front of them. That is, I mean, they saw the same pictures of nature in front of them.
That's how it was, at least until now. After plunging into Walpurgis Night, Katya calmed down. In the morning, after the tent was assembled, she silently walked behind her horse. Sometimes she even touched the horse's tail, or tried to speed up her pace in order to keep up with her totem.
The horse reacted favorably to this. Sometimes, for some unknown reason, the horse stopped.
Katya named her horse Dandelion. The horse was white, but sometimes, when the sun shone through its mane, it really seemed as if the horse had not a mane on its head, but a dandelion.
When Dandelion stopped again, Katya pointed her finger somewhere to the right and said
“I didn’t know that there was a sea here,” the girl looked back at her friend, “but did you know?” We have probably moved very far from Sirenevka.
“Where are you looking?” Olga was surprised and took out binoculars, “I don’t see anything like the sea.” As far as I know, the sea really splashes somewhere in the distance, but many thousands of kilometers away. And it is simply impossible to see the sea from here.
“Yes?” Katya was surprised, “what do I see then?” It doesn't look like a river. To the lake too.
“Maybe it’s fog?” Olga tried to give a hint, “maybe your eyes are just tired?”
“No.” Katya rubbed her eyes, “it doesn’t look like fog.” Girlfriend, can't you see? Well, I can even see the ship, it’s unlikely that I would have seen the ship if it were fog.
However, Olga only shook her head negatively.
“In that case, what do you see?” Katya asked in turn.
- I see a forest, in front of me is a forest road, or rather, not even a road, but a path. And, naturally, through the trees I don’t see any sea.
But, you know, I just realized that this forest looks like it came out of some artist’s painting. Do you see this web? This web... It doesn’t look like it’s a creation of nature, this web seems to have been drawn by a human hand. Maybe you can see the sea through this web?
“Girlfriend, stop,” Katya turned around, “something is wrong.” I don't see any web, and you don't see the sea. What's happening?
“I don’t know,” Olga’s voice trembled, “if you say that you see the sea... It’s strange, everything happened when I came here to the Cemetery, but one thing was constant, my companions and I always saw the same thing.”
Oh, what is this? Why did my head hurt so bad? Everything is spinning and I feel very nauseous.
Olga lost consciousness. She came to her senses because Katya was trying to give her some kind of bitter drink.
“Yes, drink,” the girl tried to unclench her friend’s teeth, “Drink this medicine, you will definitely feel better.” This herb is great for dizziness.
“What are you doing?” Olga tried to get up, “Did I lose consciousness and fall?”
- Yes, after your head started spinning, you almost passed out, but I managed to catch you.
- Ugh, why is my mouth so bitter?
- Probably because I made you take medicine.
“What medicine?” Olga looked at her friend incredulously, “You yourself recently told me that you have absolutely no understanding of medicines.” She said that you couldn’t remember the names of medications and their dosages.
“Yes?” Katya smiled at her friend, “I don’t remember.” Don't worry, here in the forest there are several herbs that will quickly get you back on your feet.
- You? Did you find some kind of grass and make me eat it?
“Something like this,” Katya laughed, “only you didn’t eat anything, you drank grass juice.” Or rather, I mixed the juice of two herbs. Isn't it easier for you?
“What are you doing?” Olga tried to spit out the remains of the medicine. “Are you crazy?” Or do you still consider yourself Walpurgis? Katya, she was the healer, not you! Come to your senses.
- What difference does it make, me, her - the main thing is that it makes you feel better? Your cheeks are now pink! But half an hour ago you were completely white. Your lips turned blue and your eyes rolled back.
- What if you poisoned me?
- But she didn’t poison her.
- Okay, but don't do that again.
- Don’t scare meI think so. And I could say thank you.
- Yes, thank you friend. I guess I just haven’t recovered from fainting yet.
- And thank my horse, Dandelion, too. It was she who took me to the clearing where I found medicinal roots.
- What? Was it the horse that took you there?
- Yes. And so it was. What's wrong with that?
“Katya,” Olga raised her voice slightly, “Don’t you understand...
- What? What are you talking about?
- Your name is Katya - you are my neighbor, you study in college. Your future profession has nothing to do with medicine, and you have absolutely no understanding of medicines.
Your name is Katya, Ekaterina, you have nothing to do with the healer Walpurgis.
“Okay.” Katya raised her hand conciliatoryly, “I have absolutely no desire to argue with you.” Everything is just like that.
Seeing that Katya did not want to argue and insist on her own, Olga also gradually calmed down. Today was the third day and the girl was sure that the road would lead her, or rather, lead them, to the right building. Olga didn’t know what shape this building would be, but she knew for sure that she had to find it today. However, the girls walked and walked, and the forest did not end.
Finally, the road led them onto a steep slope. The girls stopped. Below the slope the river carried its waters. And beyond the river... far beyond the river there was a castle, or rather, it was a house built in the shape of a castle. By the way, this was the same place where, long ago, many years ago, there stood the house where Katya’s grandmother lived. Remember, Katya told me that after my grandmother left here, a businessman bought this land and built his house on this place. It was this house in the distance that Olga and Katya saw at the same time. Fortunately, now they saw the same thing. Previously, the river and grandmother's house were separated by plantations of lilac bushes. Now these bushes were not there.
It was probably because of this that Katya did not recognize the place where her grandmother’s house once stood. It was getting dark with incredible speed, and the girls were trying to find a path that would help them go down the steep slope. However, nothing worked for them. It was also not possible to jump from here. Olga bit her lip, she was angry that this incredible day still didn’t want to end happily. The house that was waiting for the girls was already quite close, and yet it was still very far away.
