There, the action takes place during a collision between two civilizations, one of which has gone ahead 2000 years:
Complete sobriety, over-educated society. They live for 150 years.
The crew of the starship Dark Flame, 13 people, flew to the planet Tormans (earth of the 21st century)
The members of the expedition have a nine-legged creature that can create a protective field against firearms.
Taiwan is already 100 years ahead of the world.
And now Taiwan is completing the installation of a protective field for the island against all types of missiles.
If China waits another year to seize Taiwan, then Taiwan itself will dictate the will of China.
