The Road to Eternity
We are leaving again—again we part,
To chase the light where dawn begins anew,
The sun, a herald bright, shall play its part,
As we embark on paths we’ve yet to view.
The road to eternity winds ahead,
With whispers of the stars in twilight’s glow,
While fleeting moments, like the leaves, are shed,
Our lives pass by, as rivers swift and slow.
Yet still the sun, the sun will rise each day,
Its golden rays embrace the earth below,
The best among us find their final way,
In realms where only whispered echoes flow.
We seek the cosmos, leaving dreams behind,
For in the sun’s embrace, no peace we find.
