Ж1АнглElement in the LIFE System

I. The human figure on the diagram above the text is a Personality, consciously and purposefully living its life.
r – available and accessible resources; w – weaknesses, shortcomings, limitations; s – strengths.

The diagram above the text shows 5 consecutive stages of living by such a separate personality, who feels and is aware of himself as a part of the Big LIFE.

II. Definiteness of the object (holistic, systemic!) of life concern - Aim. The assignment of maintaining The LIFE

III. Definiteness of the goal of living one's life – the Goal

IV. Mobilization for purposeful self-living

V. The mechanism of effective self-living

Naturally, these 5 consecutive stages are supported by a feedback subsystem.

I. The Personality Living Itself

Religions attribute the predetermination of Life to a certain Creator, Maker. Science is working on the theory of the Big Bang, which gave birth to the LIFE System.

As for me, the lack of family education (World War II and its consequences, "Capture" and "Letter in an Envelope", the collection "The Life Relay Test", Proza.ru) determined a very modest personal development.

Modest development of natural abilities and "modesty" in the perception of educational influences also determined modesty in the feeling/awareness of the meaning of one's own existence in the immeasurable life context.

I feel and recognize myself as a microelement in an endless and immeasurable life, which has received a particle of LIFE with the natural purpose of using its life for an accessible modest influence on maintaining the duration and quality of the entire LIFE System. I imagine that such a life attitude falls under the definition of "self-actualization".

In World War II, a great many people suffered; a considerable number because they were Jews. Now I am doubly Jewish because I am Israeli.

And now - a surge of SYSTEMIC anti-Semitism in the world, politically directed and played out, mass and individual street, everyday, organized and spontaneous terrorist, etc. This SYSTEM includes as an essential subsystem the provoking weakness of the Jewish masses - (1) stratification into those who have the opportunity to turn in others and turn them in for beatings, and those who are turned in; (2) a motley stratification in other numerous aspects, especially in the forms of self-identification - imitation of wisdom, militancy, patriotism, etc., often in hysterical forms; (3) susceptibility, due to self-interest or stupidity, to manipulative influences from non-Jewish or Jewish players; (4) intensification, in this context, of internal political competition in Jewish communities of various sizes, including - in the Israeli state.

Despite all the beauties in the declared self-identifications in Jewish souls and behavioral models, external competitors and internal Jewish politicians cultivate an attitude toward self-realization - the desire to get from life what is OBVIOUSLY ACCESSIBLE, without wasting oneself on working through more complex life interdependencies. This is a kind of mental ghetto. It was formed in those ancient times when the cattle-breeding Jewish tribes were inferior to their culturally superior neighbors - the heirs of the ancient Greek culture and the Romans. (Proza.ru)

Perhaps, the achievements of Jews sometimes express an attempt to advance in self-actualization in an immensely complex LIFE, but more often it is an intensive and talented form of escape from self-actualization to self-realization: an intoxicated occupation with some work, aspiration for high achievement in some sphere, a search for great spectator/consumer success. And LIFE punishes for this by beating up people from the closest circle, a wider circle, etc.

The Jews, with the interested and well-organized support of the "West" and "East", preserve this mental inferiority of theirs, covering up the narrowness and superficiality of their ideas with a long and procedurally colorful appeal to the texts of the Torah. In such a centuries-old game with reality, the Jews also gave up their immediate descendants - they hid from the elaboration of real threats in simulated concern and supposed wisdom, and then the children died from pogroms, from terror and in unequal battles with an expected superior enemy.

I suppose that I am the kind of person who, to some extent, is able to independently determine the meaning and content of his life (the same set «Эстафета жизни The Life Relay Test», Proza.ru).

II. The object of vital concern Aim - The task of maintaining LIFE

The flow of LIFE of humanity, the beginning of which our life perception connects with the arbitrariness of some higher entity - the SUPREME, has a well-perceptible and conscious structure. This is a complex of an immeasurable multitude of human groups:

; Peoples,
; States,
; Confessions,
; Regional…
; Age,
; Family,
and so on ad infinitum….

In general, life is lived not only in concern for oneself (Your own life), but also in concern for the duration and quality of life of other individuals and social groups of various sizes:

LP - your own life
L1; L2- family close and wide
L3 – your circle
L4 - people of a specific statehood
L5 - nation
L6 - political
L7 - geographical
L8 - religious
L9 - сultural
L10 - ethnic
L11 -humanity

Potential requests, and in many ways direct insistences, on the allocation of a specific individual's modest life resources to this multitude of addressees compete with each other. And the individual faces the problem of optimizing the expenditure of his life resource.
Aim - to live his life with reasonable satisfaction from the content of living, and this content includes the impact on other components of the Common Life.

For me, a non-religious person, the Almighty is a kind of convention, but the GIVENESS OF LIFE and the INSTINCT OF LIFE EXTENDING OVER GENERATIONS is an objectively experienced reality.
The feeling of the givenness and predetermination of life essentially coincides with the feeling of God in believers. To spend the fullrange of availableresources/opportunitiestocontinue the Fullness of Life, of which you have become an element.

The specific states and dynamics of direct or potential "requests" of this immense and immensely complex system of "consumers" of the vital resource of the Personality also represent an immensely complex system. In the most general case, in this system one can distinguish and assume the presence of factors of natural (E - ecological), socio-cultural (S - social), political (P - political), economic (T - economic), "technological" (T - technological) nature. STEEP factors.

The state of the object of concern of the Personality (I repeat - concern about the duration and quality of life of the elements of the social system and this system as a whole) is affected by STEEP factors that are favorable (opportunities) to the realization of the concern of the Personality, and influences that are unfavorable, hindering, threatening (threats) to this. Accordingly, the Personality must objectively strive for the effective use of the "strong" elements of its available and accessible resources (strengths), to overcome the influence of the weak (weaknesses) sides of resource provision.

The mobilization of some resources requires the expenditure of other resources, so here too there is a problem of finding the optimality in the operation of resources – so that the life lived by the Personality has a significantly effective influence on the zone of the Big Life that is important to him.

III. Goal

Correlating - from the point of view of one's value system - one's resource capabilities with the system of problems of the duration and quality of the Great Life makes it possible to specify the goal-setting in the living of oneself by a specific Personality. The goal of controlled living is defined - the goal as a system of interdependent ideas about:

- Relevant
- Specified
- Achievable
- Measurable
- Time-bound

In the analysis that has taken place, the possibilities of specific planning of purposeful Personal living are already visible - the appropriate use of available and accessible resources. And, further, the effective living of the Life given to you.

Purposefulness

Achievable - there are a lot elements in every of the segment that may be attained directly or through lines of mediating chains - To the extent of available and accessible resources

Motivational proclamation

Sabbath and Festival Prayer for our country,  p. 290 Israelis History

The thousand years of martyrdom of the Jewish people, its unbroken pilgrimage, it’s tragic fate, its teachers of religion, its martyrs, philosophers, champions – this whole epic will, in days to come, sink deep into the memory of men. It will speak to the heart and conscience of men, not merely to their curious mind … It is our time conviction that the time is approaching in which the 2nd half of Jewish history will be to the noblest part of thinking humanity what its first half has long been to believing humanity, a sour of sublime moral trusts.

(at the stage of defining the Aim mission-goal, in the order of self-reflection – reflective self-management – it is necessary to check whether this motivating proclamation turns out to be self-delusion)

- Specified

Sabbath and Festival Prayer for our country,  p. 130
Our God…, we invoke Thy blessing upon …the government of this Republic, the President of these US and all who exercise just and rightful authority. Do You instruct them out of Thy Law that may administer all affairs of state in justice and equity, that peace and security, happiness and prosperity, right and freedom, may forever abide among us.
Unite the inhabitants of our country, whatever their origin and creed, into a bond of true brotherhood to banish hatred and bigotry and to safeguard the ideas and free institution are our countries glory.
May this land ……………

- Achievability

A Prayer book viewed in a synagogue shows some clues.

- Forms of prayer for Jewish Worship, (from Leviticus 19), 127p.
The Lord spoke to Moses and said:
… You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall frankly warn him of his fault and so you will not share his guilt.
You shall love your neighbor as you love yourself.
… The stranger who settles with you shall be treated as one born among you, and you shall love him as you love yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egipt.
I am the Lord…

p. 126. Strangers occupation of David’s throne – when they press us into the “ghetto” of formal emotional rituals.
Potential (opportunities for):
opp1. Loversoflife have (intentions/will + knowledge + aim) to look for the ways to transform the “diabolic” set (aim + will + knowledge/orientations) into the lifeloving.
opp2. Gentiles (by knowledge and intentions) have some identity potential to be inspired with the idea to support life.
opp3. I the life environment there are factors and relations to be used by lifelovers for to activate the opp2.
So, the task to follow traditions of our Jewish ancestors consists in skillful treatment of those potentials.
The activities to resolve the task:
1.to study the history of our ancestors lost to be active and skillful to find and operate with that potential (today’s example in our environment – Ariel Iona).
2.to study the weaknesses of Jews that prevent to be skillful and active in sense of p.1.
3.to look for such and similar weaknesses in present generation (in communities as well in individuals).
4.to look for the potential to overcome the weaknesses of p. 3.
5.to find and activate our (of community’s and of individual’s) potential to invent (aim) + will + knowledge to be active (and effective) in spending our living potentials to change proportions of Jew’s influence at the gentile environment.

- There is the possibility to motivate with the p. 129 meditation:
Teach us … use each precious moment wisely. May no day pass without bringing us closely to some worthy achievements.
Righteous living exalted and honored by The God – it is in the response from friends, observers and enemies.
The 2nd fundamental principal that gided the preparation of the Conservative version:

- relevance to the needs of our generation (the set of all ages).  The basic need – to counter fight life threatening potencial of the social environment.

IV. Mobilization for purposeful self-living

With a specified goal of living oneself (which is adjusted during the living process under the influence of the feedback subsystem), we move on to planning the living process – the stage of living out the rest of oneself based on the acquired clarity in the meaning of life.

We specify the ideas about personal potential and the possibilities of its mobilization. We clarify the idea of potentially strong personal qualities and weaknesses/limitations in personal qualities. We outline the possibilities of opening and developing (open and develop) strengths (Strengths), relevant to the goal. We determine the possibilities of suppressing or overcoming (Suppress and overcome) weaknesses (Weaknesses). Here, mobilizing self-reflection - self-understanding (Mobilizing) is necessary.

V. The mechanism of effective self-existence

We control (Self government) the manifestation of ourselves in the Living environment by the tension of will and volitional efforts.

A motivating stimulus can be selected for synagogue visitors.

Chabad.org is a division of Chabad-Lubavitch Media Center, •
Yizkor (or Azkarat Neshamot), a memorial prayer for the departed, is recited in synagogues four times a year after the reading of the Torah on holidays: on Yom Kippur, on Shmini Atzeret, on the last day of Pesach, and on the second day of Shavuot.

… The main part of the Yizkor prayer is a silent promise to make a donation in honor of the deceased after the holiday. By giving tzedakah, we physically perform a good deed in this material world - something that the deceased himself is no longer able to do. However, when this is done by someone in his memory, his soul receives additional merit and spiritual ascension.

==== My comment.

For me, the other part of the Yizkor prayer proposed by the Conservative segregation is much more acceptable as the main part:

- Teach us, O Lord, wisdom, so that our days do not pass in vain.
Not a monetary contribution, but the maturation of motivation, concentration of will and the performance of purposeful deeds.
A prayer in memory of a mother: "In memory of her, I will perform good deeds."
A prayer in memory of a father: "In memory of him, I will perform good deeds."
The same for a deceased wife. In this context, memorial prayers for sons and daughters.

And in this whole context, naturally, the meaning of "good deeds" is determined - using oneself, while still alive, to support the continuation of LIFE from the present to the future.
Tzedaka - a monetary donation - is a primitive and dubious "good deed." Doubtful - because it is possible that the collected funds will go, first of all, to the benefit of the nomenklatura, settled in the organizational structure of a specific link of the religious community.

==== Wisdom and will to purposeful actions are not suddenly thrown in from the outside - by angels or some other miraculous means. This wisdom and will mature through internal individual work or through people's own collective efforts aimed at promoting the continuation of LIFE.

=== To work with the texts of the Torah

Quoting from https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dvar-Torah (A Dvar Torah, "word of the Torah," is a statement contained in the Torah, or more generally, a elaboration of that statement in later Jewish literature. The Dvar Torah is a fundamental element in the transmission of the Oral Torah.)
"The subject matter of a Dvar Torah is not limited to the Torah, but encompasses the entire range of subjects in which at least one aspect of the Torah is present (ritual, practice, ethics, behavior, etc.), as opposed to divreiullin (secular texts), such as economics, science, politics, etc. However, a Dvar Torah may include these topics, provided that it sheds light on a specifically Jewish aspect of understanding or interacting with them. In addition, allusions to current topics are often used to arouse public interest."

====   My comment:

"Economics, science, politics" etc. are the contents of LIFE, lived in specific time and geographic areas by specific communities. Both the contents of the historical reality that has taken place and the visible historical perspective (the development of Israel's clashes with regional terrorists in the war of the global giants Iran-America-...; military clashes of such giants in other regions; ...) show the large-scale beatings of Jewish LIVES and the insufficient influence of Jews on the preservation of the LIVES of other peoples. Therefore, it is obvious that the business of Jews is not only the study of the Torah and the implementation of the rituals prescribed by the Torah, but also, FIRST OF ALL:
- the development of influence on the strengthening of the preservation of LIFE in the flow of LIFE.

The institution of the d’var Torah - literally a “word of Torah,” a lesson or sermon interpreting a text, which can be delivered by anyone, lay or clergy - reflects a fundamental Jewish belief in the infinite interpretive possibilities of Torah.
While the concept of the d’var Torah may be empowering, the prospect of preparing one can be intimidating. However, preparing and presenting a d’var Torah doesn’t necessarily demand vast Jewish knowledge or extensive rhetorical skills. It requires only a willingness to explore a text and to share your exploration with others.

- A guide to building self-reflection and self-understanding.

“I prefer the wicked person who knows he is wicked to the righteous who thinks he is righteous.” At least the wicked person is honest. The righteous one can be insufferable.
The message is that education is the key to continued cultural and religious and national survival.

Here is a quote from Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Horowitz, the Lublin seer, quoted by Rabbi Shlomo Riskin:

“I prefer a wicked man who knows he is wicked to a righteous man who thinks he is righteous.” At least the wicked man is honest. The righteous man can be intolerable.
The point is that education is the key to continued cultural, religious and national survival.

The Dvar Torah was delivered by Mike Garmise of Bet Israel Synagogue, Netanya 2019
