Who will back down?

 Margarita Simonyan:

"About once a week I am asked on various broadcasts:

— When will the war end?

About once a week I answer that I don't know when the war will end, but I can easily imagine how it might end.

1. The West will gradually, consistently raise the stakes to the maximum: first body armor, then armored personnel carriers, then tanks, then planes, then long-range missiles, and finally a deadly permission to use them everywhere, including strikes on Moscow and St. Petersburg.

2. We will wake up one morning and hear an address from the Commander-in-Chief, in which he says something to the effect that we can no longer politely pretend that we are fighting only with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We will be forced to admit that we are fighting with NATO. And in this case we will repel NATO aggression in all possible and impossible ways, while, as sad as it may sound, we will most effectively strike with missiles with the appropriate internal content  and even on military facilities of NATO countries.

In Russian, this is called a nuclear ultimatum.

And then we'll see who backs down first."

Author.

This is not only called a "nuclear ultimatum", but also a repeat of the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962, when we stopped one step away from a nuclear world war... fortunately for us, at that time in the US, an adequate sober person was sitting in the US presidential chair, and in this matter, as it seems to me, there is no hope for the mindless pensioner Biden and the giggling Kamala... without looking, at once with their stupid and thoughtless "long-range" actions in Ukraine they will provoke a nuclear conflict between two superpowers, which could bury the entire human civilization under itself...
