Personal Paradise on Demand

Vyacheslav Popov-Sibiryak

I dedicate this to my parents, Lyudmila and Mikhail.

This book is about possible paths of human self-realization, about creativity and inspiration.
About psychology and emotional-artificial intelligence.
About the victory of Good over Evil.
About how to overcome the animal nature in yourself and become a Human.
About love and hate.
About war and peace.
About our era.
About choosing a favorite business and profession.
About how important it is to dream and consistently achieve your long-term goals.
About building a successful survival strategy.
About what are the most probable and optimal options for the future development of humanity.

In order to present my ideas to an international audience, I am writing the book in two languages at once - Russian and English. I am also going to translate the original text into Spanish, Chinese and German.

I need an international audience to disseminate the attitudes and scale of values of the Russian linguistic picture of the world in other countries (strengthening Russian influence on public opinion abroad). I consider this project my contribution to the development of our country. This is one of the forms of "soft power", including mutual influence and mutual exchange of different cultural codes.

After all, language and culture are the core and cement that form the framework of the state, uniting the nation, the people. And this contributes to the successful overcoming of serious trials that befall society. We are going through one of these today, once again.

This helps to overcome obstacles and bypass barriers.

The main people who pushed me to study the topic of emotional intelligence and inspiration management are Igor Stepanovich and Valentina Mikhailovna Nikiforov. Igor Stepanovich is a candidate of technical sciences and a teacher at one of the leading Novosibirsk universities. Valentina Mikhailovna is a professor of music. They also taught me the art of vocals and much more for many years. And I love and respect them very much.

Preface

Why and why I decided to write this book.

My main professional activity is being a translator. When I was 15 years old, I decided that I wanted to become a translator and dreamed of learning many languages. I have devoted my whole life to the study and practical application of different languages.

Thanks to the knowledge of several languages, I have made a career as a sales specialist and manager in Russian and foreign companies, visited different places in our vast homeland, and in other countries. In 2018, I decided to work for myself, and my wife Marina and I opened a joint company, Brigantina Ltd. Today, our family business is engaged in translation activities, market research and educational services for children, teenagers and adults. We also co-operate with government agencies, and not only with them.

The constant work with texts on a wide range of subjects and a wide range of communication with people in different countries, as well as my desire to regularly express my thoughts and experiences in the form of texts, and my passion for writing poetry in different languages since I was a teenager, led me to the idea of writing a fiction book, where I wanted to share with my children and with readers in different countries my experiences and my ideas and my interpretation of our lives. To share what I think is important. To create my own virtual universe.

In 2015-2017 I planned to publish a collection of short stories and poems together with my friends, on various topics, but the preliminary result was put aside in a long box in the form of a draft. Then I transformed it by starting pages on the most popular sites for aspiring poets and writers PROZA.RU and STIHI.RU, and published all my texts, starting with teenage poems. Special thanks to Valentina Kondratieva, the best realtor in Novosibirsk, for temporarily storing the paper archive of texts from my youth, which I later digitised.

We have conceived a book on the topic of emotional intelligence and about the ways of human self-realization together with Elena Chelyapina, with whom we had worked together on projects in the field of tourism in 2018-2022. Her main contribution to this project is that she speaks positively about my works, believes in my success as an author of literary texts and poetry in different languages and inspires me to feats.

When my inspiration and sublimation of inner emotional work led to the writing of individual texts, I discussed them with my friends living all over the world. Critical comments and recommendations on the stylistics and content of the Russian text by Natalia Petrova, with whom we worked together at the Novosibirsk Regional Russian-German House in the early 2000s and played in amateur theatre, help to make the Russian text more vivid and expressive. I do the translation into English and other languages myself. My family participates in the evaluation of some sections of this book, and also supports me. To my other half, my one and only wife Marina, I bow to her patience and love.

As a lover of astronomy, quantum physics, adventure and fantasy, history and mythology, I invite you, dear readers, to an incredible journey through a parallel universe!

I believe that mankind has an excellent chance. To become even better and even more human. To walk together with a wide step into a bright future.

The book consists of short chapters where the characters in dialogues discuss various issues and raise philosophical themes of existence in a humorous way. The kaleidoscope of events and the opacity of a solid linear plot draw the attention of the modern reader to the general framework of the narrative. The form of the book is adapted for the perception of young people - it is made in the form of clips, due to the clip-like organisation of the thinking of most modern readers. At the end all the characters intersect and we see the general canvas of the picture of our time.

Humorous dialogues allow us to perceive the text as an entertaining fairy tale. Which through the images and actions of the characters creates a matrix of values of the new era of Emotional and Artificial Intelligence (EAI). I use imprinting - imprinting vivid images into the reader's consciousness to form efficient patterns of behaviour. In short, this book is a pedagogical poem. Where previous cultural experience throughout human history is taken into account.

Sincerely yours,

Author
