Almost a real one, never mind that it was in the heart of a major metropolis called New York City. The girl's name was Virginia... Did she know what fate had in store for her? That in just a couple of days her life would change forever after meeting the enchanted prince in the form of a retriever, and with the appearance in her life of a half-man, half-wolf? A man who, like Little Red Riding Hood, will lead her to a land where fairy tales come to life, where adventure and unknown dangers await everywhere, a land usurped by the Evil Queen...

The film ‘The Tenth Kingdom’ is a kind of prequel to the TV series ‘Once Upon a Tale’. But both can be recommended for viewing as ‘bedtime stories’. They are necessary for us to be able to make sense of our own world, which is not always beautiful, becoming a kind of Narnia and Wonderland, where you can escape in difficult moments of life. After all, our life, the life of each of us is not always filled only with light and joyful moments. Sometimes it can be sad, sad and lonely. In these moments we need some shelter, where we can take a break, calm down, restore our strength.... It is to restore, without plunging into this illusory world ‘with the head’, because, as Aslan said in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’: ‘You have learnt Narnia, and now it is time to return to your world and learn to live there. You have grown up, but Narnia will always be in your heart, as will I, though in your World I am called differently.... Those who find their way here once will never forget it. And one day you will grow up to the day when you start reading fairy tales again. And you'll remember.
