Mahakali. The end marks the beginning
This series of 95 episodes with an average length of about 45 minutes. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. It is filmed very qualitatively, a lot of beautiful shots. But what is more valuable - spiritually very rich (sometimes even very rich) script, which made the series infinitely educational and in terms of knowledge of the gods of Hinduism, and in terms of philosophy. Besides, Hinduism (Vedism), in many respects is consonant with our Slavic Vedas (though, in my opinion, it can't be otherwise, everything comes from the Source, one in the Universe). Of course, you can watch it as entertainment content. And one can, from a psychological point of view. Relationship between husband and wife, different facets of a woman, the search for self and the meaning of existence. As they say, everyone will find something different. All your answers will be answered with questions.....
It is very effective that from the first frames we are greeted by the eerie (and as beautiful as it is creepy) look of Mahakali, the Goddess Mother of All Things. And then we see the incredibly soulful, heart-string-tugging, enchanting dance of Shiva. Actor Saurabh Raj Jain is marvellous in this role. He dances beautifully, and the constantly calm, emotionless face of the god in his performance is a delight. And he is also absolutely marvellous at looking at his chosen one with a loving gaze. Shakti, played by actress Pooja Sharma, is simply gorgeous. She truly combines two opposites - the delicate and beautiful Parvati, but no less successful is her transformation into the formidable Mahakali. The movements in the dance paired with Mahadev are mesmerising, making one tremble. It seems that the actors do not play, but live in the frame, you really believe them, although half of the film was shot clearly against a blue screen, which means that they had no opportunity to be inspired by the scenery or anything else, except to turn on the imagination and get in tune with each other....
Overall the actors are playing at the peak of their talent, they are doing well - Mahadev, Parvati-Mahali, Ganesha and Karthikeya! They play in such a way that there is no doubt about the reality of these Gods. But it is only a great pity that among the performers of the roles how many times I searched, I did not find who so masterly performed the role of Vinayaka - Ganesha. Just a shame!!! This boy's performance is superb. A master! Just at the level of the main actors. I am not a film critic, so the performance of the actors is delightful and for me conveys a subtle palette of feelings and emotions - delightful. How it is for you, you decide for yourself.
I'll be honest, this is now my favourite Indian serial. This series is very well acquainted with Indian mythology, it is filled with various wisdoms and important life lessons, but the series itself is not stretched and looks at one breath, in the series all; very well explained, so even a person not very well versed in Indian mythology easily understand;t about ch;m ideas speech in the series. In the plot laid a lot of life wisdom from the relationship between: husband and wife, mother and children. Everyone will find here necessary and for themselves, and for their family, and for society as a whole.
Lucky those who have not seen it yet! You are just about to be immersed in the atmosphere of spirituality and enlightenment! :) good luck on this beautiful path!
