Days like these, I hold so dear,
They lead me to the ocean clear.
Why do they guide me evermore,
To peaceful waves and quiet shore?
Why do I wander to the sea,
Where waves speak softly, calling me?
Perhaps in tides and shores I find,
The peace that stills my restless mind.
В такие дни покой я обрету,
И вновь к морским стремлюсь просторам.
Зачем меня влечет всегда,
Той гальки шорох, волны и вода?
Зачем брожу я к тихим берегам,
Где шепчет ветер, вторящий волнам?
Возможно, в их течении найду
Спокойствие души и радости уму.
