Sonone. Part two
Sonone decided to become an artist.
He wanted to draw a rainbow.
Sonone went to the store and bought: canvas, paints, brushes, a palette and a simple pencil.
It was raining heavily outside and Sonone began to draw a picture.
He began by drawing eight semicircular lines with a pencil - this was the right side of the rainbow.
He drew a sun on the side and colored it.
After Sonone had painted the sky and the earth, he began to paint the rainbow. He started coloring it from left to right and from bottom to top.
«The rainbow is like a stairway to heaven!» — he thought, – «and every arc is like a step».
He colored the rainbow as if he was climbing the stairs up to heaven.
While Sonone was drawing, he repeated the same phrase many times. A phrase that is used to remember the colors of the rainbow:
— «Every hunter wants to know where the pheasant sits».
«„Every” - the word begins with the letter „K“ - means the first arc is red,» — Sonone thought and colored the first arc.
«„Hunter,” the letter „O“ means the second arc of orange!» — He mixed red and yellow colors on the palette. He got the orange color and slowly painted the second arc.
«„Wants” the letter „F” is yellow» — Sonone continued to paint the rainbow yellow.
«„Know” the letter „Z” is green», — He mixed blue and yellow and colored the next arc.
«„Where” the letter „G” is light blue», — Sonone mixed blue and white paints. He got the color light blue and colored the fourth arc.
«„Sits“ the letter „C“ is blue», — and after a few minutes the arc was painted blue.
«„Pheasant“ the letter „F” is a purple color», — Sonone mixed red and blue colors and colored the last arc.
In order to color the rainbow, out of seven colors, Sonone needed only four colors: red, yellow, blue and white.
Sonone thought:
«My painting is ready, let it dry».
By this time the rain had stopped and the aspiring artist decided to go for a walk.
He went outside and saw a rainbow in the sky.
«How beautiful this is!» — thought Sonone.
He looked carefully at the rainbow and noticed that the color red was at the very top of the rainbow. And in his painting the color red was at the bottom.
— How so?! — Sonone was surprised, —I did everything right and as a result I drew the rainbow incorrectly!
Why? I was sure that the rainbow should be drawn from the bottom up, and not the back!
The phrase for remembering the colors of the rainbow is wrong! - Sonone concluded.
«I’ll come up with my own phrase for remembering the colors of the rainbow from bottom to top», — Sonone decided, — «so that others don’t get confused like I did».
- So, the first color of the rainbow is „purple“ - „Pheasant“.
The second color is „blue“ — „said“.
The third color is „light blue“ — for „guest“...
«„What is the result?” — Sonone thought, — Pheasant told the guest. Which guest? The guest who came to the pheasant is, of course, a hunter!» - Sonone reasoned.
— Pheasant said to the guest: “It’s very cool to live here!”
“It turned out great!” - thought Sonone.
- “Here” - “green”, “live” - “yellow”, “very” - “orange”, “cool” - the red color of the rainbow.
Sonone wanted to compose a poem with this phrase:
Pheasant said to the guest:
– It’s very cool to live here!
Drop your gun!
You came for me in vain!
I will say to all hunters:
I'm sitting in a nature reserve!"
- So this is the pheasant’s answer to every hunter who wants to know where the pheasant sits! - Sonone exclaimed joyfully.
Some pheasants actually live in nature reserves, but hunting there is prohibited!
He repeated this poem over and over again so as not to forget it.
Sonone was no longer so upset that he drew the rainbow incorrectly. After all, after that, he himself came up with a phrase for remembering the colors of the rainbow and his first poem.
- Now I want to be not only an artist, but also a poet! — Sonone decided, “I’ll call this picture: “Rainbow in the Sky.”
The only thing that upset Sonone was that he could not sign his painting and write down his poem. After all, he could neither read nor write.
"What should I do? - Sonone thought, “I will definitely learn to read and write!” he firmly decided.
