Вот, печальные новости какие. Человек что-то там ошибся
и что-там не так заполнил.

Британцы не имеют привычек заполнять документы для визы, как раньше британский паспорт давал безвизовый въезд в страны ЕС и не в ЕС.

Отчего, лично я не исключаю некую ошибку не специально сделанную, а недоразумение: не так что-то понял человек, заполнил, что и как смог понять.

Повторю:  британский простой обычный паспорт давал безвизивый въезд в огромное число стран мира, отчего и почему, опыта корректного заполнения визовых документов у британцев как просто факт, не имеется, нет.


А тут: неловкая ситуация, неловкость ошибки попала вдруг в новостях.

СООБЩЕНИЕ ДЛЯ СМИ


26 ноября в МИД России был вызван Посол Великобритании в Москве Н.Кейси, которому был заявлен решительный протест в связи с вскрывшейся информацией о том, что второй секретарь посольства Великобритании Э.Уилкс при получении разрешения на въезд в нашу страну указал о себе заведомо ложные сведения. Тем самым он нарушил п. 2 ст. 26 Федерального закона «О порядке выезда из Российской Федерации и въезда в Российскую Федерацию» от 15.08.1996 г. № 114-ФЗ.

Одновременно с этим российскими компетентными органами получены сведения, подтверждающие принадлежность указанного сотрудника к спецслужбам Великобритании, и выявлены признаки проведения им разведывательно-подрывной работы на территории нашей страны.

В связи с нарушением российского законодательства, а также в соответствии со ст. 9 Венской конвенции о дипломатических сношениях 1961 г. британская сторона была проинформирована об отзыве аккредитации Э.Уилкса.

С учетом вскрытого факта подачи заведомо ложных сведений в отношении британских дипломатов будут ужесточены требования по заполнению анкет сотрудниками посольства этой страны.

Российская сторона настоятельно рекомендует гражданам Великобритании при подаче визовых заявок сообщать только достоверную информацию о своем прошлом.

Британскому послу было вновь акцентировано, что в Москве не потерпят деятельность на территории России незаявленных сотрудников британских спецслужб. Бескомпромиссная линия в данном вопросе будет формулироваться в соответствии с интересами национальной безопасности Российской Федерации. Кроме того, в случае если Лондон пойдет на эскалацию ситуации, российская сторона незамедлительно даст «зеркальный» ответ.

That's the sad news. The man made a mistake there
and I filled in something wrong.

The British do not have the habit of filling out documents for a visa, as previously a British passport gave visa-free entry to EU and non-EU countries.

Why, personally, I do not exclude some mistake that was not made on purpose, but a misunderstanding: the person understood something wrong, filled out what and how he could understand.

I repeat: the British simple ordinary passport gave visa-free entry to a huge number of countries of the world, why and why, the British have no experience of correctly filling out visa documents as a simple fact, there is no.

MESSAGE TO THE MEDIA


On November 26, the British Ambassador to Moscow, N. Casey, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry, who was strongly protested in connection with the information that the second secretary of the British Embassy, E. Wilkes, indicated deliberately false information about himself when receiving permission to enter our country. Thus, he violated paragraph 2 of Article 26 of the Federal Law "On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation" dated 08/15/1996, No. 114-FZ.

At the same time, the Russian competent authorities received information confirming that the specified employee belongs to the special services of the United Kingdom, and revealed signs of intelligence and subversive work on the territory of our country.

In connection with the violation of Russian legislation, as well as in accordance with Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, the British side was informed about the withdrawal of E. Wilkes' accreditation.

Taking into account the revealed fact of submitting deliberately false information regarding British diplomats, the requirements for filling out questionnaires by employees of the embassy of this country will be tightened.

The Russian side strongly recommends that British citizens, when applying for a visa, provide only reliable information about their past.

The British ambassador was once again stressed that Moscow would not tolerate the activities of undeclared British intelligence officers in Russia. An uncompromising line on this issue will be formulated in accordance with the interests of the national security of the Russian Federation. In addition, if London escalates the situation, the Russian side will immediately give a "mirror" response.

Russia has expelled a British diplomat after accusing him of espionage, according to reports.
 
The TASS news agency cited Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova as saying that the ministry had also summoned the British ambassador.
 
Footage shows the British ambassador's car pulling up to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow.
 
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: "This is not the first time that Russia has made malicious and baseless accusations against our staff. We will respond in due course.”
