Chasing the Light

Here it is, a stumble, but not the end of the road,
New hurdles are but dreams, in a temporary abode.
Where to wander? I’ll carve my own track,
I’ll leap over barriers, like spring flowers in the back.

So mused the young dreamer, ablaze with desire,
In life, he awaits only joy, and a heart full of fire.
This world is a trial, not a cruel jest,
Each step is a chance, and I won’t lay to rest.

The sun is a beacon, and the wind softly sighs,
Every day’s a treasure, beneath these vast skies.
I’ll gather my dreams, like stars in the night,
With them in my arms, I’ll take off in flight.

Difficulties are but shadows that flit by with grace,
I believe that the light always finds its own place.
Laughter and tears — the spice of the ride,
I’ll keep moving forward, with no limits to bide.

With mates on this journey, we’re as free as the birds,
We’ll boldly take wing, unbound by mere words.
Each moment’s a gem, and I know this is true,
A bright path ahead, and I’ll chase it anew.

So let this tune ring out, merry and bright,
About how our dreams are a beacon of light.
With each step I take, with each breath I find,
I’ll live life to the fullest, leaving worries behind.
