The octopus is the exact biological embodiment and transcendence of great love, when one creature looks so miserable and completely deformed from overwhelming all and everything uncontrollable love and desire, when the poor creature is transformed in the end into this very all-pervading intention to kiss and embrace, drink, suck and eat completely without a trace the dearest person.
That is why we see in the anatomy of the octopus so many squeezing arms and tentacles, so well adapted for hugging, and each of these stretching and all-pervading elastic arms is covered with many greedy mouths, each of which is framed by hungry lips yearning for passionate kisses, armed from the inside with sharp teeth.
Yes, this is the perfect anatomy or evolution of someone who has gone completely crazy with great love.
