Олень как Дао

Скифы представляли себе созвездие Большой Медведицы как «Небесного Оленя с золотыми рогами». Китайский иероглиф «Дао» происходит от его Саяно-Алтайского петроглифа, а сами рога представляют собой менору. Ветви рогов оленя точно попадают на звезды Альфа, Каппа (Полярная звезда в 1793-1 гг. до н. э.) и Лямбда созвездия Дракона. Поэтому не удивительно, что скифы использовали Оленя и его рога как символ царя как полюса общественного бытия.

The Scythians imagined the constellation Ursa Major as the "Celestial Deer of Golden Horns". The Chinese character "Tao" comes from its Sayano-Altay petroglyph, and the horns themselves are a menorah. The branches of the deer's horns fall precisely on the stars Alpha, Kappa (the North Star in 1793-1 BC) and Lambda of the Draco constellation. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Scythians used the Deer and its horns as a symbol of the king as the pole of social existence.
