Painting is materialized love — a source of healing and creation. In a world filled with so much aggression and destruction, I believe that beauty and love are what can become our salvation and driving force.

Painting is materialized love.It carries a creative energy powerful enough to heal.It opens a new space — full of air, light, and oxygen for the soul.
Few people know of this energy. It is invisible and silent, like radiation. But unlike radiation, it does not destroy — it heals and creates.
Nature seems to understand this. That’s why beauty flourishes. Why flowers bloom in endless variety. Why birds sing, and their feathers shine in every color of the world.
People often say: “Look at good art.”But I believe there is no such thing as bad painting.Every artwork is a willful effort to capture a beautiful moment. Even a trembling, unskilled hand, if it moves with love, leaves a trace of light.
I remember when I used to work 14–16 hours a day, cleaning houses. Exhaustion would dull the mind and body. And suddenly — in some room — a small picture on the wall. And something would lift. As if a window opened. A surge of energy. A flash of joy. Like light in a tunnel.
It’s like food: there’s no bad food, only bad cooks or oversaturation. So too with painting — when there’s a spark, a will, a heartbeat of love — it saves.
Those who survived the Siege of Leningrad often lived long lives. Because they carried within them the memory of a true light.
Contemporary art often repels us — Duchamp’s urinals, Piero Manzoni’s excrements, Malevich’s Black Square. These were protests against cultural cliches and societal norms. And yet, the system remained: the arms race continues, wars continue, the cult of violence, the worship of idols of aggression and destruction persists.
Instead of love — hatred.Instead of creation — killing.And beauty, along with love — the true source of intellectual and spiritual growth — is dismissed as weakness, irrelevant, secondary, without function.
But to me, love and beauty are the function. They are the origin and the purpose — the alpha and the omega of human development.
So — linger, linger, sweet enchantment.Do not surrender to the dominion of dark forces.Let people finally understand:aggression is not creation.Aggression is a futile, destructive labor that leads only to dystopia.
Only love —still, always —can build the world anew.
