Merkaba, or the Call of the Ancient Code

Merkaba, or the Call of the Ancient Code

The true you is a being of light living in a body, temporarily forgetting its infinity.”
— Drunvalo Melchizedek

Author’s Note

This story is not just a narrative. It is a map reflecting an ancient path of return.
Every image, every encounter, every breath within it is a step toward the true self.

I offer thanks to all who walk this path with open hearts.
My deep gratitude to Drunvalo Melchizedek, whose presence continually inspires me to return to the Source. His teaching is not a system — it is living light.

Perhaps this text will remind you who you truly are.
Perhaps it will simply be a seed. But if it falls into ready soil, it will surely grow.

With love and respect,
Daniel Ryberg

PART I. MEETING AND REMEMBERING LIGHT

Lana hesitated for a long time. Everything seemed too abstract, too esoteric — almost like a fairy tale.
But something inside nudged her — not with reason, not with logic.
As if from her heart — a gentle inner touch.

She signed up on a friend’s recommendation.

“Just go and talk,” the friend had said. “He won’t try to persuade you. Just listen.”

The room was simple, without theatrical mystery.
White walls, wooden floors, windows open to the garden.
It smelled of frankincense and mint.

A man sat on a low stool by the wall — he didn’t seem to be waiting, expecting, or judging.
He simply was.

“Hello,” he said calmly, as if he had known her for a long time. “You came. That already matters.”

Lana gave a slight nod, and they fell silent.
The silence was not heavy — on the contrary, it felt spacious.

“Do you want to know what Merkaba is?” he asked suddenly.

“Yes,” she whispered. “Though I don’t really know why. But… I feel I need to.”

He smiled.

“Merkaba is an ancient word. In Hebrew, it means ‘chariot’ — but not the kind that rolls down a road. A chariot of light.”

He paused.

“In the Egyptian tradition: MER — light, KA — spirit, BA — soul or personality.
Merkaba is a rotating field of light that connects the earthly and the spiritual — a kind of living energy vehicle.

It’s not imagined. It’s built into you.
It’s not a symbol. Not a philosophy.
It’s part of your nature.”

Lana listened, barely breathing.
It was as if he spoke of something she had once known… but had forgotten.

“It looks like two interlocked pyramids. One tetrahedron pointing upward — the masculine, sky.
The other downward — the feminine, earth.
When they spin in opposite directions, you enter the flow.
An energetic vortex. A shield of light.”

He looked straight into her eyes.

“But it’s not a toy. Not a decoration.
Activating the Merkaba can change everything.
It requires balance: between mind and heart.
Soul and body.
And — readiness.”

“What if I’m not ready?” Lana asked, almost childishly.

“Then you’ll hear this later. When the time comes.
Or maybe — you are ready. Because you are here.”

He fell silent, and Lana felt it — he wasn’t pushing. He was offering.

“Before we do anything,” he said softly,
“just spend a little time with yourself.
Not with me.
Not with the subject.
With yourself.
That will be the beginning.”

He turned on soft music — like wind and birdsong on the edge of a forest.
His voice came almost in a whisper:

“Take a deep breath…
And a soft, gentle exhale…
Allow yourself to slow down…
Allow yourself to be here… now…

Feel yourself returning to yourself.
To your breath…
To your body…
To the silence within…

With each breath in, you fill with light.
With each breath out, you release tension.

What do you feel right now?
What emotions live in you?..

Don’t reject them. Don’t analyze.
Just be with them…

Emotions are not weakness.
They are a gift.
Let your heart open…
You are safe.
You are home.

When the heart is open — the world becomes close.
You begin to see beauty in the simple.
Emotions are the soul’s language.
Through them, it speaks to you.
Listen…

What is it trying to say?”

Lana didn’t notice how the minutes passed.
She sat with her eyes closed, but within — everything seemed lit by a gentle inner light.

“Ask yourself softly: ‘My soul, were you trying to show me something?’
…The answer may not come immediately.
But it will come.
Through a sensation.
Through an image.
Through quiet knowing.”

At that moment, she felt something open inside — a door.
Quietly. Effortlessly.
And with the silence came something else — subtle… like a wind of change.

Lana imagined a glowing pyramid around her body — as if made of light and crystal.

“And now — inhale…”

At that moment, she rolled her eyes slightly upward, as he had instructed.
A subtle upward shift, feeling a gentle tingling in the area of the third eye.

“Imagine: beneath the gathering point — a horizontal plane of the triangle. And it begins to move downward.
A push — and it descends through the entire earthly tetrahedron, carrying negativity away.”

Lana felt a strange motion in her body — as if a current ran down her spine.

“You see a dark bundle of light leaving your body — it’s going deep into the Earth, washing away what doesn’t belong to you.
And now… eyes — downward! Quickly, as fast as you can!”

Her eyes dropped — her body gave a subtle shiver.
It felt as if something heavy had exited, leaving a sense of lightness behind.

“Feel it — you are being cleansed.
And now… change the mudra.”

He touched his fingers.

“Second breath — thumb and middle finger together.
And again: inhale, exhale, visualization, current along the spine, eye movement…”

With each cycle, Lana felt as if something within her was aligning.
She couldn’t describe it in words — but her inner “language” began to speak differently, through sensation.

Third mudra — thumb and ring finger.
Fourth — thumb and pinky.
Fifth — back to the first.
Sixth — like the second.

“These six breaths,” the Teacher said as she opened her eyes,
“have balanced the polarities and cleared your system.
Only now… you are ready for the SECOND PART.”

He smiled.

“But don’t rush.
Let your body remember.
Let your soul echo.”

Lana sat in silence.
Her body — as if floating.
Her mind — still, like a lake.
And inside, there echoed something she once used to call: home.

PART III. AWAKENING TO LIGHT

Lana came in silently.
And the Teacher didn’t speak — he simply handed her a bowl of warm water and nodded toward the familiar spot.

Everything was as before… and yet completely different.

She closed her eyes.
And instantly — she felt it: the gathering point was already responding.
The heart — like a door, slightly open to the light.

Her breath became rhythmic, light.
And her body seemed to slip naturally into a meditative rhythm.

“Today, you will remember. Not learn — remember,” the Teacher said when she opened her eyes again.
“Everything you need is already within you.
Let’s continue.”

He spoke gently, but his voice began to feel like space itself.

“The next seven breaths are special.
They restore the pranic flow and initiate spherical breathing.
This is no longer just purification — this is revival.
We are no longer moving in form — we begin to breathe the sphere.”

Lana was no longer listening — she was feeling.
Each breath became a vibration.
Each motion — a pulse of light.

The Teacher said:

“The fourteenth breath — the threshold.
It recalibrates you.
The Merkaba is close.”

And suddenly… she felt something shift.
As if reality… softened.
The density of the air changed.
The space became transparent.
Time slowed — or perhaps vanished entirely.

“Now…” whispered the Teacher, and his voice trembled with reverence,
“The final three breaths.
Your Merkaba is not somewhere else.
It is already here.
Just allow it to be.”

Lana felt within her the two structures — the solar and the earthly tetrahedrons — begin to rotate.
Slowly… toward each other.
In opposite directions.

She wasn’t controlling it — she was allowing.
As if she had become the space in which the geometries of light were spinning.

White light — like lightning — began to fill her body.
From within. From without.
And everything became One.

From somewhere far away, she heard a voice:

“Your Merkaba is active.
You are between worlds.
You are in multidimensionality.
Feel it.”

She was no longer sitting.
She was floating.
Not in the body — in luminous presence.

All boundaries dissolved:
Between body and spirit,
Between question and answer,
Between herself and all things.

She felt: Unity.
Light.
The silent wisdom that had always lived within her.

And then — as if by the will of her heart — she gently returned.
Opened her eyes.
And smiled.

The Teacher looked at her with quiet, warm joy.
He knew — Lana had crossed the threshold.

“Now,” he said simply,
“you remember who you are.”

She nodded.
The tears in her eyes were not of pain — they were a rain of liberation.

And in that silence, they both knew:
The journey had only just begun.

The Day of Activation

Before beginning the meditation, the Teacher reminded Lana about the first six breaths, which must be performed impeccably — freely, as if she had done them her whole life.

Then he paused and began to explain that in the second phase, breathing takes on a completely new form.
There’s no more need to visualize the star tetrahedrons.
Now, the focus is solely on the pranic tube — the channel that runs through the star, from the tip of the male solar tetrahedron above her head to the tip of the female earthly tetrahedron beneath her feet.

This tube stretches from a point one hand’s length above her head to another point one hand’s length below her feet.
Its diameter is the size of a circle formed by connecting her thumb and index finger.
The tube appears luminous. Its crystalline tips perfectly fit into the top and bottom points of both tetrahedrons.
Prana enters through an infinitely small opening at its tip.

Then the Teacher paused again and guided her into meditation — with relaxed breathing, letting go of thought.

The first six breaths passed quickly and easily.
The seventh began calmly — with an inhale.
Her heart filled with love.
Visualization began — and she sensed the tube running through her whole body.

In that moment, a bright white pranic light visualized itself, moving both upward and downward simultaneously through the tube.
The movement was almost instantaneous.
The meeting point of the two streams of prana was controlled by her mind.

For the remaining breaths, the Teacher explained that she would use the same mudra as in the first breath:
thumb, index, and middle fingers touching.
Her gaze directed upward.
Breathing rhythmic, yogic — 7 seconds in, 7 seconds out.
No breath retention.
The streams of prana flowing from both poles remain continuous — even during transitions between inhalation and exhalation.

7th Breath.
The pranic sphere centered at the navel began to grow by the end of the exhale.
It reached about 8 inches (20 cm) in diameter.
Breathing was relaxed — no forcing the air out.
As the lungs emptied naturally, the next breath began.

8th Breath.
Inhale — her heart filled with love.
Life-force energy continued to concentrate in the pranic sphere, which steadily expanded.
Exhale — the sphere grew to its maximum size.
Everyone's sphere is different.

The Teacher’s voice echoed gently:
“If you place your middle finger on the edge of your navel now, the wrist line will show you the radius of your maximum sphere.”

The sphere no longer grew — it stayed constant, even as another began forming around it.

9th Breath.
Inhale — the pranic sphere could no longer grow in size, so the prana concentrated within it.
The result was radiance.
With the inhale, the glow intensified.
Exhale — the brightness of the sphere continued to grow.

10th Breath.
Exhale — in this moment, a small golden sphere, about two hand-lengths in diameter, had filled to its capacity and was ready to expand.
In one second, it rapidly grew to the size of the Leonardo da Vinci sphere, reaching the tips of her outstretched fingers.

She felt her body fully encompassed within this vast golden sphere.
She recalled the Teacher’s words:
“This is a return to the ancient form of spherical breathing.”

She felt the new sphere was unstable.
She took three more breaths — the 11th, 12th, and 13th — and stability came. She felt it.

She began the exhale — still the 10th breath.
Lips pursed like a straw, she exhaled forcefully.
She felt tension in her belly, an opening in her throat.
The sphere “bulged” slightly.
Then she relaxed — fully exhaled.
The sphere immediately expanded to the full Leonardo sphere.

The original small sphere remained — she now sensed two: one inside the other.

11th, 12th, and 13th Breaths.
She focused on staying relaxed.
No longer visualizing — only feeling the prana streams from both poles meeting at the navel.
They extended outward to the edge of the large sphere.
Breathing was deep, rhythmic.
By the end of the 13th breath, she felt the larger sphere had stabilized — and she was ready for the next phase.

Her inner sphere was still present — brighter and more concentrated.
The Teacher had told her that this was where the prana for healing and other sacred purposes would be stored.

14th Breath.
Inhale — love.
She mentally moved the meeting point of the pranic streams from the navel to a point two or three finger-widths above the sternum — the 4th-dimensional chakra.
She felt both spheres rise together to this new point.
A powerful, yet gentle movement.

She became aware of how breathing from this new center altered her consciousness.

The mudra changed:
For women — right palm on top of left, palms facing upward, thumbs lightly touching.
This was the mudra of surrender.

Her breathing was deep and rhythmic.
There were no thoughts — only breath.
She felt presence.
A connection to all life.

A memory returned — of her link to the Creator.

15th Breath.
Inhale — unconditional love for all life.
She became aware of her entire star tetrahedron.
At the beginning of the inhale, she mentally spoke the code words:
“Equal speed.”

This activated the counter-rotating motion of the two star tetrahedrons at equal velocity.
She felt: They are mine. They know my intent. They respond to my will.

The mudra remained the same — palms open like a bowl.

Exhale — the tetrahedrons began spinning at one-third the speed of light.
Her vision was unclear, but she knew:
She had just started the Merkaba engine.

Everything was calm.
Like an engine idling in neutral.

She pursed her lips — exhaled forcefully as in the 10th breath.
She felt the tetrahedrons begin to rotate.

16th Breath.
Inhale — she felt something unusual.
Mentally, she said the code: “34 / 21” — the ratio of revolutions:
the mental tetrahedron spins 34 times, the emotional 21.

Rhythmic breathing.

Exhale — the tetrahedrons rapidly accelerated to two-thirds the speed of light.
She saw their tips flatten into disks, expanding quickly.
The diameter reached 18 meters.

The energy field and spinning disks formed a shape like a flying saucer.
This was the Merkaba energy matrix.
Still unstable — but that was normal.

She took the 17th breath to increase rotation.

17th Breath.
Inhale — unconditional love for all life.
She mentally commanded:
“Nine-tenths the speed of light.”

She directed her mind to accelerate the spin to 9/10 the speed of light.
The energy field stabilized.

Exhale — as before: lips pursed, strong exhale.
She felt the precise speed being reached.
At the end of the exhale, she was in a fully stabilized Merkaba.

She remained in meditation a while longer — maybe 15 minutes, maybe more.
Thoughts and emotions intensified.
She began to speak positive affirmations.
She felt heard — by the Divine.

It was a time of sacred communion with Spirit.

She realized her fields had been distorted — misaligned.
The tetrahedrons revealed the imbalance of polarities.

The Teacher had explained:
We receive our polarity from our parents.
The solar tetrahedron — father’s energy.
The earth tetrahedron — mother’s energy.
Both imprinted at conception.

The meditation was complete.

The Teacher reminded her:
Through conscious connection with the Higher Self, we remember who we truly are.
We become aware — and that is the foundation of any meditation.

He continued:

“We live in a world that exists only in the Creator’s consciousness.
Our world is Light.
The Creator expresses Spirit through each of us.
We carry immense potential.
But we are free to choose.
I am free to choose.
I can keep living in my ordinary understanding — chasing comfort, success, material things.
Or…”
…choose another path — the path of awareness.
A path where the outer world is a mirror.
A path that offers a chance to manifest joy, love, light.

But the outer and inner worlds — are One.

Epilogue

You haven’t just read a story.
You have heard a call.

Because Lana’s journey is not someone else’s.
It is a reflection of what lies dormant in the depths of your own soul.

Merkaba is not a technique.
It is awakening.
A radiance born from within — when the heart opens and the mind is ready to accept the Truth.

It is not about “something out there” —
It is the return to yourself.

Lana remembered who she was.

Now — it’s your turn.

Take a breath…

And maybe — just maybe — this will be the breath
that begins your own transformation.
