Night swim

Light and darkness take turns, I fall asleep,
Light returns — and I awake again.
Sadness spreads within my heart,
Joy and anger intertwine in me.
Gently touching the phone’s screen,
I write you words from a sincere heart.
Where should I go, what should I seek?
Where does this path lead in the end?
To keep walking on,
Or to stop, to rest awhile?
Why have I come into this world?
Hope inside my soul fades away.

Before me lie four great roads,
But it’s hard to find the path that leads only me.
Meaning ignites, life rearranges,
Only when you walk beside me.

Twilight deepens, waves shimmer,
Long voyage in the boat — I return to shore.
Crowds gather on the beach,
No one dares to swim in the dusk.
The quiet sunset — I don’t fully understand,
But everyone meets it with their own heart.
I swim slowly — fleeing from pain,
While I’m in motion — pain can’t catch me.
