Occult Cryptozoology

Occult cryptozoology is based on (correct) assumption that, in addition to visible, tangible, physical world, there exists the invisible, intangible, spiritual one (in fact, the latter accounts for 6/7 of our Universe).

This world is populated by invisible, intangible, spiritual beings that create apparitions – intangible (hence no physical evidence of their existence) spiritual beings. Which subsequently manifest themselves to carefully selected (by their creators) individuals – the latter must obviously possess mystical capabilities.

Contrary to the almost universal misconception, apparitions are not ghosts… because the latter do not exist. They do not exist because – by definition – a ghost is the soul or spirit of a dead person or animal that is believed to be able to appear to the living. But it can’t – for both humans and animals the road into afterlife after physical death is a one-way street – there is no way back (the road is blocked).

Apparitions are created in spiritually powerful places (e.g., many lakes) and can be seen only by sufficiently spiritually (mystically) powerful individuals. Hence, occult cryptozoology investigates – first and foremost – where the cryptid was sighted and who saw it.

If both were found to be sufficiently spiritually powerful, occult cryptozoology proceeds to investigate the sighting proper to determine the true nature and purpose of the apparition in question (more specifically, what was the message that the apparition was created to deliver).

Hence, occult cryptozoology is far more interesting (and challenging) than mythological cryptozoology (let alone the scientific one).

Actually, there is occult ufology as well; it works exactly the same way – only investigates sightings of UFOs (which it believes to be apparitions… at least some of them), not cryptids.
