Borrowed “Knowledge”

Borrowed scraps of “wisdom,”
From third-hand minds at best!
Thus runs their vain competition—
Recruiting fools for quest.

A waiting line since childhood,
To chain you, make you bend.
From lies you’re struck with horror—
But cash is all they spend.

They treat you like a gadget,
A profit-making tool.
Their iron clamps will catch you,
And bind you as their mule.

Forever stuck in bondage,
If lies you still obey.
The Path of Truth is rugged,
But serve it—come what may!

Awaken intuition,
Let sharpness guard your thought.
Imposed delusions whisper,
You’re harvest—nothing more.

Distorted through their filters,
Of selfish interest made,
You’ll walk for miles, a donkey,
Crushed under false parade.

That lie keeps multiplying—
“Progress!” (damn their creed!)
It slaughters souls in silence—
This TRUTH you ought to heed.

Yet in yourself are filters,
Implanted deep, with care,
So you become your jailer—
The censor lurking there.

And all about the “past,”
Invented, dressed in shame,
While in the cheap “present”
They herd all men the same.

You’ll never grasp the Now
Through lies that cloud and crush.
The sorrow yet approaching—
Flee, multiply the Spirit’s hush.

The answers live in Spirit—
Go inward, do not stray!
No life is here worth living—
The Spirit is the Way.

The age of blind submission,
Of “good,” and meek disguise,
Was nothing but corruption—
Awake! At last—arise!
