Ellen Alaverdyan
From an early age, music was an integral part of her life: her father played lullabies on the guitar and often took her to the studio. At three years old, Ellen started playing the ukulele, singing, and learning piano. By the age of eight, she discovered the bass guitar, instantly captivated by its depth and rhythm.
Her inspiration and support came from the legendary bassist Victor Wooten — one of the greatest bass players of all time, known for his extraordinary technique and participation in the band B;la Fleck and the Flecktones. Born in 1964, Wooten is a five-time Grammy award winner and a music educator whose style blends jazz, rock, fusion, and bluegrass. He had a significant influence on Ellen’s musical development, supporting her at every stage of her journey.
The family’s move to New York allowed Ellen to fully realize her creative potential. Despite her young age, she has already performed with renowned musicians and built a substantial following online. Recently, she visited Yerevan, the capital of her ancestral homeland, where she celebrated her birthday with family, an experience that added new inspiration to her life.
Besides music, Ellen is also an accomplished artist, expressing her emotions and creative energy through visual arts. This combination helps her create unique projects filled with depth and sincerity.
From Polina Fetkovich, the drummer, lyricist, and vocalist of the virtual band Cesarevnas, comes admiration and support: “I would be delighted to compose something for this talented girl. Ellen possesses a rare energy and depth that inspire the creation of genuine music, and it would be an honor for me to contribute to her artistic path.”
With hundreds of thousands of fans on social media and performances alongside stars like Victor Wooten and Steve Vai, this is just the beginning for Ellen Alaverdyan. Her multifaceted talent and continuous dedication promise many new achievements and bright musical events.
