CHAPTER 7.1. BLACK MAGIC

I was woken up in the morning a few minutes before the alarm clock, as usual. I took my small list of the 10 Wishes. I went down. Two bottles of H2O and I was on my way.

It was so quiet, everything as usual. The birds were asleep. There were still two and a half hours before sunrise. I was enjoying the clean air. Gradually climbing higher and higher, I arrived at the beginning of the path. I passed through the Temples of Glory, Soul and Wisdom. I went down to the Valley, turned left to the main road. Kailash was left behind. In the distance I saw the Pendulum that let me go. Behind the bushes already known to me, a barely noticeable path to the Mountain Earth began. I jumped over the big crack, where the Earth once had tried to open up, but for some reason had changed its mind. Now I knew that I no longer needed to go to the spot where the axis passed, the Book of Knowledge was waiting for me. I came out to the main road and went higher and higher. Somewhere on the right, there were the Dragon’s Ridge and the Pyramid of Rebirth. But they didn’t attract me either. The main road ended. I left for the mountains, passing through a grove of small trees in the Valley, reminiscent of Palestine. I had no idea why. And finally, another mountain range, I climbed up a steep path with excitement and just around the bend…

I approached the Book of Knowledge with inner trepidation. Gently touching its pages with my fingers, stroking them, I turned to the Book with a request to help me write my own Book. Our seminarians weren’t there yet. I had about forty minutes. We were to meet with RAM at the top of the Mountain of Wishes just before sunrise.

I put aside my bag of two H2O, curled up over the Book, and closed my eyes. The Flow was stunning there, the energy pierced me through, as on the Mountain Earth. It could knock me out of the body or move with it to another place. At first, I periodically opened my eyes to make sure I was still there. I meditated for a long time, trying to tune in to the vibrations of the Book, but the inner screen was still blank. I was about to return to the Earth, when suddenly the internal screen switched on. Someone filled it with scarlet and burgundy colors, the whole canvas was pulsating in several points of the screen at once. Rosebuds appeared at the pulsation points. They opened instantly across the screen, their petals were pulsating waves. It was a very beautiful living picture. A strong and kind energy of Love came from the screen. I tried to talk with the Book mentally and asked it for help in Knowledge.

Suddenly, the picture on the screen changed. I saw the Book open, it was gigantic, on the full screen. Its pages were the color of ivory or baked milk. The Book was old, read by many, judging by the corners of the pages worn by time and looking darker. There was no text on the pages as we used to see it. The text appeared, vibrating, and immediately disappeared. There was no earthly language in which it was written. It couldn’t be read with the earthly eyes. I saw two palms above the open Book, clasped together as if in prayer. Was it the Guardian of the Book? I didn’t see him, but I asked him mentally to give me the opportunity, if necessary, to turn to the Book for Knowledge. The Guardian was silently looking at me, scanning and evaluating my vibrations.

I heard someone’s steps. RAM sent one of the seminarians after me, because everyone was already at the top and the Sun was about to rise. I mentally thanked the Book and its Guardian and returned to the Earth.

“We are going to launch the Program of Wishes,” said RAM. “For 21 days you need to pronounce all the points of the Program, because any program is launched within 21 days. Then you’ll hang your plan in a visible place at home or at work and look at it throughout the year.”

Sasha turned to me and asked quietly, “Daphne, I hope you don’t have anything about the monastery there?”

I laughed and said quietly, “Hash!”

Going down the steep path, RAM showed us the living stones for making fire. Then we approached a big Labyrinth. RAM opened it with a virtual key.

“So, each of you in turn must go through the Labyrinth, twist the energy, set it in motion. When you find yourself exactly in the center, you should concentrate and send your Program of Wishes into the sky by Willpower, mentally. Then thank Heaven and the Higher Forces, who certainly heard you back on the Mountain, and slowly go out. Tomorrow, when you go to the mountains on your own, enter the Labyrinth. Just don’t forget to open it first with the key, and close it after leaving. It’s very important.”

“Where do we get the key from?” Svetlana asked me.

“It’s virtual, you don’t need to take it, just don’t forget to imagine it.”

We took turns wandering through the Labyrinth. One was inside, the rest were sitting under the Sun and enjoying the white light. In the Labyrinth, one went through different states of Consciousness.

The energy of the Life Force was moving in the Labyrinth. It was interesting, Zina, having reached the central point, vibrated with her physical body. That had never happened to any of us.

Walking through the Labyrinth, I mentally repeated my 10 wishes. In the third corridor on the way to the center, I had a glitch, a clear feeling that I had been walking along it before. I stopped in confusion. It seemed that I would be walking along the third corridor forever. But, moving forward, I got to the fourth and slowly reached the center. I stretched my hands out to the Sun and strongly pushed the Program into the sky.

When the magical Labyrinth was passed by everyone, RAM closed it with the key, and we set off on our way back. I asked the seminarians if anyone had got a glitch in the third corridor. Fortunately, it turned out that almost everyone had got it there, so I relaxed.

We were walking back in three – Sasha, Svetlana and me.

“Listen, Alice, when did Magic as a science appear?”

“Svetlana, Magic is not a science. And it’s older than our Universe.”

“What is it then?”

“Everything around is Magic. In the sense that most people understand it, it’s a kind of action. The basis of Magic is energy and Willpower. Everything in the world is energy in one way or another. Within a certain form, energy is also called Force. You can influence the energy on the Forces inside some form. Someone influences with one’s own energy, someone – with the external. External is more correct. To make something work, you need to have a great Willpower. Will is a Force itself. When the Mind says the game is over, the Will can perform a miracle and the game will continue.”

“Why?”

“The Will is more important than other forces. The Will is created and reinforced by Faith. If a person doesn’t believe or his Faith is weak, the Will is weak, too. Remember, Christ didn’t perform many miracles there because of their unbelief. So, in order to master Magic, you need to free the Will, first of all, from your Mind, and strengthen it with Faith. The Will creates, because it’s Force and an intermediary between the Earthly and Another Realities.”

“What does the Will, being the Force, do?”

“The Force has an effect on something or someone. On other forces, on matter, on anything. For example, a person can direct his Willpower to change the cells of his own body in order to heal from an illness. The Force, directed at some target at the moment of manifestation of strong emotions, has a special power.”

“What is the difference between White and Black Magic?”

“Magic is always the same. Its principles are the same both for White and for Black. The division is conditional. Magic differs by the goals pursued by the magician and the consequences of his actions.”

“Well, tell us simply: what is White Magic?”

“The ancient Hindus considered Magic divine, almost more important than religion. The Right Path of Magic, or White Magic, is used to create Good. The White Magician is freed…”

“From what?”

“From everything earthly, Svetlana, from everything. Therefore, there are practically no White Magicians on the Earth, they are Saints. To become a White Magician, one must defeat the Personal Ego, one’s Self, all attachments to the Earthly Reality, become independent, that is, liberated from the Earthly things already here, during life. In such people, the Spiritual, or Higher, Self prevails so much over the Earthly that in fact there is nothing Earthly left in them, therefore Divine Magic is revealed to them itself. Holy people don’t seek Magic and don’t learn it anywhere. Heaven entrusts its secrets to those who won’t use them for selfish purposes.”

“And what do they, the Saints, do with this gift?”

“They don’t advertise it. Otherwise, a queue will immediately line up: one wants to bewitch Petya, one wants to materialize a cottage, and one wants to be shown miracles in order to believe in God.”

“So do the Saints use Magic or not?”

“If it’s necessary. St. John of Novgorod got on a demon and made him take St. John to Jerusalem to bow to the Holy places.”

“Daphne, you won’t even need a man! You’ll saddle someone up and ride all over the world through the Holy places.”

“You still don’t understand anything… About the man… But to ride someone and visit the Holy places, I first need to leave for a monastery and repent for 20 years.”

“Well, you are again about your own! Okay, keep going!”

“One of the main laws of Magic is the attraction of like to like. So, the Saints on the Spiritual level are higher than the Essences of the Lower Astral, therefore they can subjugate the latter. But the Saints communicate with the Higher, that is, by definition, Forces of Light, since they are driven by Divine Love. The Saints can turn to them with any request that will benefit the mankind or its representatives. The request is fulfilled instantly. An ordinary person, even a very strong one energetically, has something Lower, Earthly, selfish, therefore, he cannot be allowed into the Higher Spheres until he is cleansed. Thus, most likely, he will hang out in the Lower Astral and contact with its Essences. Being unable to control them, he’ll have to pay something for the service.”

“So, it turns out that our Wish Program is Black Magic!”

“It depends on what you personally wrote there. If the realization of all wishes without exception doesn’t cause negative consequences for anyone in the Universe, then it’s not Black.”

“Well, I didn’t wish harm to anyone!”

“No doubts. You can wish yourself Good, but for someone your Good will turn out to be Evil. A slippery concept. At first glance, Evil is an energy directed to harm someone. But if you look wider, Good and Evil largely depend on the point of view you look at them. Of course, if we take the law of cause-and-effect relations, then, in theory, the one who committed Evil should pay for it and shouldn’t expect Good from the Higher Forces. The Higher Forces will eliminate the imbalance, for example, by fulfilling your, at first glance, good wish, which will harm those who must pay for their own Evil. For those, the realization of your wish will be regarded as payment. But for you…”

“Give us an example!”

“You are rich and madly in love with Tolik, a very talented artist who lives in poverty. Tolik loves a poor drinking Klava. You want to be happy and show Tolik what happiness is. So you place an order to get Tolik. You want to make two people happy at once: both Tolik and yourself, because you think that he will be much better with you than with Klava. Is your wish good or evil? What do you think will happen after the fulfillment of your wish?”

“How to formulate a good wish without dirty tricks?”

“Ask the Forces of Light to send you a man who is very similar to Tolik, so that the feelings are mutual, and no one would be hurt. Understand that everything is God’s Will. That is, God knows better There, Above, who and when to send you and with whom you really need to be. Perhaps God wants you to leave for a monastery to pray for the mankind, and you are all about Tolik.”

“Daphne, are you kidding? Svetlana, don’t ask her for more examples! She’ll definitely leave for a monastery to pray for our sins.”

“So, Svetlana, wishes can be classified as White Magic if people or the world will feel better after their realization.”

“Well, let’s say Good and Evil are complicated concepts, two sides of the same coin. What about God and the Devil?”

“God is everything around, except for ones without His Spirit. Where there is no Spirit, there is the Devil and / or his relatives.”

“Remind me why they don’t have the Spirit.”

“It leaves for far away if it sees that a person has sold his Soul to the Devil. That is, if there is nothing light left in the Soul-Personality, not a drop of the Divine. The Holy place is never empty. Someone is happy to settle in it immediately.”

“Daphne, it’s clear about the Spirit, let’s talk about Black Magic. Just to know so as not to get into trouble. I don’t really want to get the seal of the Black Moon in my next life!”

“Black Magic is the Left Path. It makes the magician a slave, a hostage of those Essences of the Lower Astral, which he uses in his witchcraft activities to cause harm, pursuing selfish goals. Even Berdyaev said that he didn’t see freedom among people fascinated by Black Magic. They didn’t possess the Forces, but the Forces possessed them.”

“Then why do people become sorcerers?”

“Sorcerers, as a rule, are driven by a thirst for power over the worlds, both living and dead. Black Magicians partially use subtle natural or cosmic energies, but they attract them artificially, unlike White ones. The latter receive subtle energies through Divine Love. Accordingly, Black Magicians violate the harmonious balance of subtle energies. Sorcerers also work with thought-forms, that is, with artificially created Essences of the Astral World, for causing harm.”

“Is Black Magic always intentional?”

“Not always. Even if you just look intently into the right eye of another person, you will already commit violence against him. A person with strong energy can send an evil thought to someone, look angrily or exclaim something, and the recipient of the poison arrow, being weaker and defenseless, will suffer greatly if his Spirit doesn’t withdraw the arrow for some reason, for example, forwarding it back to the sender.”

“The Black Magicians should be punished somehow, even if the arrow is not redirected, shouldn’t they?”

“Of course. The Spirit is separated from the Black Magician during his lifetime, after the Soul is sold to the Devil. God punishes those he loves, and the more He loves, the faster He punishes. Black Magicians can live long without punishment. Everything about them is already clear to everyone. Often sorcerers are greatly tormented at death, they cannot die for a long time. They need to pass on their gift to a successor, and if they die without a transfer, they look for someone on the Earth to hand it over to afterwards. In the Astral, a sorcerer won’t be allowed anywhere except the Lower Spheres. He is doomed to the decay of atoms, but not in the way it happens with ordinary astral bodies. The process will be long and painful.”

“Will he be burning in Hell?”

“Burning, yes. The sorcerers remain in the Sphere closest to the Earth, trying to continue their dark work, parasitizing on the still living Souls and feeding on their energy in order to prolong the life of the astral body and avoid the decay of atoms. In pre-revolutionary Russia, people were afraid to call themselves sorcerers, they hid their true face.”

“Is Kabbalah Black Magic?”

“Literally, it means ‘what they get’. Kabbalah is a teaching with elements of mysticism and Magic. It was common among the Hasidim. The doctrine, first of all, tells about the way God created the Universe from nothing, the ways He manifests himself, the nature of the human soul. It calls for contemplation, prayer and the search for the hidden meaning of the Pentateuch words. It’s in it that God and divine processes are symbolically described. The main book is considered to be the Book of Creation, it describes the very 10 Spheres that make up the Tree, the emanations of God from the Divine substance Ein-Sof. This book was influenced by the philosophy of Neoplatonism and Gnosticism. There is also the Book of Radiance, or Zohar, it consists of more than 20 books with stories-parables about divine secrets. It’s on it that the book of Kabbalah is based, saying that our material world is only a visible aspect of Another Reality, which is a part of it at the same time. Practical Kabbalah is indeed a kind of Magic, the purpose of which is to influence the Higher Spheres and our world by controlling ‘spirits’. Well, it seems to me, everything is already clear to you.”

“Nothing is clear, to be honest.”

“Svetlana, it depends only on who, for what purpose… A Saint means White Magic. An ordinary person cannot control real Spirits by definition, only Essences and for a fee.”

“Are there any Black Magic religions?”

“Religions, they all are not Black Magic. People can be Black Magicians and say that they belong to some religion. There are sects and currents. For example, the Red Hats sect predates Buddhism and is now predominantly active in Bhutan. The sorcerers called Brothers of Darkness. The Left Hand of Tantrism was considered a form of Black Magic.”

“What about shamans?”

“Once again, Svetlana, it depends entirely on the person who practices Magic. We need to know who he is and what his goal is. Shamanism is based on communication with spirits in a state of trance. Shamans recognize two categories of Spirits: the Lower, that is, not the Spirits, but the Essences of the Lower Astral, and the Higher, the Light Spirits. Shamans are elected, undergo Initiation, during which some Forces take the Shaman’s Soul out and remake it at their own discretion.”

“And what are they remaking it into?”

“The answer to the question ‘Who takes it out?’ in this case is the answer to ‘What are they remaking it into?’ Usually, shamans communicate with spirits during a ritual dance, under the blows on a tambourine. A rhythmic auditory effect on the psyche is created, the shaman falls into a trance, passes into Another Reality. The question is, why does he communicate and with whom? Does he fall into a trance himself or against his will? To get some Knowledge that will help other people is one thing. Well… I think it’s clear.”

“What’s the difference, on one’s own will or against it?”

“There are two types of those who communicate with the spirits. The first category is mediums. Unfortunate creatures, since birth, they have a poor gift of easily separating their astral body from the physical one. Their Willpower is weak, that is, they don’t want any communication, they release the astral body against their will and cannot control the process in any way. The Essences of the Lower Astral are right there: jump-jump and they are the kings. They move into a medium and flirt with others, feeding on tasty energy. Sometimes they come out and go home, having fed. Sometimes they stay for a long time. Try to kick them out.”

“Daphne, so are mediums passive in communication?”

“Yes, Sasha, you are absolutely right. There are those who purposefully seek communication. Consciously, at their own will, they open the Doors to the House for the Spirit and invite everyone to visit. It depends on how light a person is. As I have already said, there are only a few Holy people, to whom the Higher Forcers will come at the call of the Soul. They have a halo over their heads. If there is no halo, say hello to the Lower Astral. Therefore, it’s dangerous, Svetlana, to open the doors and shout all over the world, ‘Hey, you are Up There, talk to me!’”

“Do they shout all over the world with mantras?”

“With prayers or mantras, of course, it’s easier.”

“Why?”

“The effect of mantras can be explained by the Pythagorean theory of the Music of the Spheres: every object, person, planet and everything in the Universe has its own key note or vibration. If you know the vibration (sound) of someone or something, you can have any effect on it, up to complete destruction.”

“I don’t get it.”

“In order not to shout all over the world, people once invented the telephone. Any mantra is the phone number of some Deity or Spirit. Similarly, there are phones of the Lower Astral Essences. If you pronounce the mantra correctly, that is, with the proper intonation, timbre of voice, and so on, it’s the same as dialing the digits of a telephone number correctly, there won’t be any misconnection.”

“Okay, we dialed correctly, so what’s next?”

“We talked about our girlish things, wished each other good night and hung up. In ancient India, with the help of mantras, they acquired supernatural abilities used either for Black or White Magic.”

“Is Aum Mani Padme Hum Black Magic?”

“It’s a phone number. Ancient mystical formula. ‘Aum’ is the Sanskrit analogue of the Christian Trinity. ‘Mani’ means sacred jewel. Padme means in the Lotus. ‘Hum’ is let it be so. A mantra or prayer is the access code. The language of Another Reality consists of sounds-vibrations, not words. Therefore, the ancient Magicians communicated with it with the help of various spells. To summon an Elemental, there was a spell in the language of the corresponding Element. In the case of the Salamander, they used the language of the Fire Element and so on for all the Spheres. Mantra, like any prayer, is one of the keys to the Door to Another Reality.”

“But nowadays, few people know mantras and spells, right?”

“Yes, not many people. Mostly, we have only wonderful advertisements and Internet pages. But… Forces can be easily awakened not even by mantras, but by paying attention to them with increased energy. Remember, the energy follows the thought. By nature, everyone has a protective barrier, or a tightly closed Door that separates them from Another Reality. When a person breaks the Door in spite of the warning, ‘Don’t get in, it will kill you!’, he uses the right of choice, and the Door opens. If you have no second protection, such as the Purity of Thoughts and Lightness of the Soul, you won’t be able to control the invited guests, and the direct path to Black Magic is assured to you.”

“Daphne, does this happen at summoning meetings?”

“As well. What is happening there, I would classify as Necromancy. Even Moses issued the Death Penalty Decree for those who summon Spirits from the Kingdom of the Dead.”

“Why, Alice?”

“Svetlana, I have already told you about this several times.”

“Daphne, you haven’t told me yet. Repeat, just briefly.”

“Necromancy does no good to anyone. Neither to the Souls of the dead, nor to those who are still alive. Summoning the Dead from Another Reality to the Earthly Reality is an interference with the Heavenly Laws, their violation.”

“Daphne, who can be summoned?”

“Conditionally there are: Holy Spirits from the Higher Spheres; Souls of those who died by their own death and now reside in the Middle and relatively Higher Spheres; Souls of those who died by their own death, but residing in the Lower Spheres together with the Essences of the Lower Astral; Souls of suicides and those who died a violent death, although not always, are in a suspended state between the Earthly and Another Realities.”

“Daphne, stop. Holy Spirits from the Higher Spheres can only appear to the Saints, right?”

“Only to those who are very worthy of the appearance of a Saint. Like attracts like. As a rule, they appear in exceptional cases. But certainly not at summoning meetings, because the atmosphere is too dirty there.”

“Next, Daphne, those who are more or less light.”

“The souls of relatively light people have passed into the Middle and Relatively Higher Spheres, because in the Higher Spheres there are already Spirits, not Souls. Speaking figuratively and quite primitively: the higher the Soul is There after shedding off the physical body, the longer it climbed the Staircase, washing off its earthly dirt step by step. Thus, first of all, having found itself There, usually, the Soul doesn’t care about the Earthly things anymore. Secondly, it’s unthinkable to go down the Staircase, collecting the dirt again. Therefore, the Souls from the Light Spheres are almost always beyond the reach of necromancers. They will either come on their own for a great purpose, for the sake of mankind or its individual representatives, but not when they are summoned, precisely on their own will, not at the request of the necromancer. Or they send a sign in the Earthly Reality, not appearing in it at all. Although more often, they meet with the living ones during the sleep of the latter. In this case, it’s not the Dead ones to go down, but the Living ones to rise up.”

“Astral meeting?”

“Yes, Sasha. Exactly.”

“So there are the last two categories of Souls left.”

“Yes, exactly Souls, not Spirits, because in the last two categories there are no Spirits by definition. The Spirits left for the Higher Spheres, having separated from the Souls, and sometimes even before the death of the physical body. Those who committed suicides and those of violent deaths are suspended between Here and There until the date of their second death.”

“Daphne, what does the second death mean?”

“They were supposed to live on the Earth for a period of, for example, 100 years, but for some reason they died earlier, that is, not their natural death. So they are in a state of hallucinations, suffer a lot, don’t understand what is happening to them, they rush about and cannot find peace either Here or There. They cannot disintegrate into atoms, their Souls are heavily loaded with material particles and will be integrated until the second death date, until the Life Energy dissipates completely and the gravity of the Earth disappears finally. Summoning the unhappy souls, is the same as taking the skin from the alive. Such souls madly want to go Upstairs, and necromancers drag them down with all their might. They feel so much pain, this is sadism!”

“Well, does the last category mean the ‘homeless’?”

“All kinds of dirt, which in the Lower Astral, is immeasurable like dirt on the Earth. Half-decomposed criminals, sorcerers, villains, addicted ones of various kinds, who hover over us waiting for the next piece of energy to be thrown to them, or the call to live inside the House. I mean somebody’s body. They are vampires.”

“Do they like blood, Daphne?”

“Energy and blood as well. Paracelsus said that with the help of blood vapor, any spirit can be summoned. That’s why various blood sacrifices were often performed. Fresh blood restores vitality of the astral vampires for a while. In Tibet, when demons are to be cast out from the possessed, people put blood, wine and meat everywhere in the house, and leave the house. There is a high probability that the vampire will jump out of the Soul, leaving the body of the possessed in order to enjoy the delicacy. By the way, think at your leisure why women shouldn’t attend church at a certain period.”

“Then why are the vampires summoned?”

“To make a deal. A sorcerer needs to do something he can’t himself, and a vampire needs energy. The Dark Forces do nothing for nothing. In the case of a love spell, they bewitch, and then demand a reward, the energy, as a rule, of the bewitched. An entity is settled inside. The one who bewitches will surely lose the bewitched. But people don’t think about it, just ‘give it for me here and now’.”

“So, it turns out, there is no one to summon.”

“There are Elementals, fairy-tale creatures responsible for the corresponding Element of Nature. They are close to the Earthly Reality, but they are rather primitive beings. You can summon them, but in the case of the issue they are in charge of, and only for good. Otherwise, they’ll become naughty, spinning all sorts of nonsense and then laughing at you. No one knows the future anyway. Until a person makes his last move on the chessboard, there are a lot of options. If you really need to know something, the Higher Forces will warn you. Of course, if you deserve it. As for the Past, it can be learnt through the Computer, if necessary. If access is granted. Again, you have no need to summon any spirit.”

“Alice, is Voodoo Black Magic?”

“Yes, people who practice this branch of witchcraft have two of the most famous works: Voodoo dolls and turning corpses into zombies. There are also rituals similar to the ecstatic dances of shamans with drummers, including black candles, spirits summoning, and sacrifices with the participation of the rooster.”

“Does the rooster dance, too?”

“No, they cut off its head. The rooster is the most magnetic and sensitive of birds. It’s associated with the Sun, Death and Resurrection. An occult bird. It was always used in divination and Magic many centuries ago. True, in Egypt, Greece and Rome, snakes were more honored, as well as by the Aztecs. They looked at them as something divine, apparently, after the events in the Garden of Eden. The Snake knew everything before Eve and Adam, was smart. But even among the pagans, ophiomancy is widespread.”

“What mancy?”

“Ophiomancy is a kind of divination by means of snakes. No other animal has been used in sorcery as often as the snake.”

“Snakes are disgusting! Alice, tell us better about the doll!”

“Do you want to play with dolls? You didn’t play enough as a child, I see. The doll is made very similar to the person one wants to harm. Out of wax, or plasticine, or anything. You can even carve a statue. While making the doll, the maker’s thoughts are exclusively occupied with the victim, that is, the original. They use fragments of his body, for example, hair, or pieces of things belonging to the victim, such as clothes.”

“Why hair?”
