CHAPTER 7.2. PSALM CURSING

As usual, after breakfast we turned into porcupines. Svetlana asked thoughtfully, “Alice, it turns out that the evil eye and spoilage are also phenomena of Black Magic, they do exist, they are not just fairy tales, right?”

“It’s foolish to deny the facts and attribute them to fables. Thomas Aquinas, referring to Aristotle, said clearly, ‘Yes, they do.’ In Greek, the word spoilage means two things – witchcraft and envy.”

“Is Thomas Aquinas the Unbeliever? And tell me about Aristotle, when did he live and what did he do? You have already mentioned him once, and I’m zero in terms of names.”

“Thomas the Unbeliever was one of the 12 Apostles, disciples of Christ. He didn’t believe in the resurrection of the Teacher until he saw Him with his own eyes. Therefore, Thomas was called the Unbeliever. Later, it became a common name. Some called Thomas as twin. They say he looked like Christ. But the number 12, which refers to the Apostles, corresponds esoterically to the 12 Signs of the Zodiac. In this perspective, the word twin has a different meaning.”

“Who is Thomas Aquinas then?”

“He lived in the 13th century, was recognized as the most authoritative religious philosopher in Catholicism, since he connected the ideas of Christianity, in particular of Augustine the Blessed, with the philosophy of Aristotle, and formulated five proofs of the existence of God.”

“When did Aristotle live?”

“He was born in the 4th century BC, a student of Plato. Aristotle is considered the first thinker to create a comprehensive system of philosophy. The metaphysical doctrine of Aristotle was taken as a basis by Thomas Aquinas and developed by the scholastic method. By the way, Aristotle was born near the Holy Mount Athos. Oh, what an amazing Place of Power Athos is!”

“It turns out that people have been doing spoilage for a long time.”

“They say that the words evil eye and spoilage came from paganism. Black Magic and everything related to it has certainly existed since the time of Atlantis. People have always been and will be drawn to witchcraft. According to official sources, which people believe, excavations were carried out on the territory of Ancient Babylon. And on cups, jugs and other terracotta products, they found inscriptions of spells against spells and witchcraft as well as instructions for making talismans against evil spirits and diseases. It’s interesting, all Babylonian incantations began and ended with the word hallelujah.”

“Wow… And what were those spells?”

“They were especially fond of doing all sorts of nasty things on the Full Moon and the New Moon. In Sanskrit, I remember, the Full Moon is called by the unpleasant word ‘Raka’, and the New Moon is called ‘Sinivali’, a beautiful name, isn’t it? Raksha is an amulet or talisman made during the Full Moon or the New Moon. At Black Magic classes, they were orientated towards the West. The West is believed to be exactly the side of the world associated with the Dark Force, Death and Witchcraft.”

“In what way did they send spoilage?”

“Whatever way, people have always been good in imagination. In Atlantis, everything happened instantly, but in a very sophisticated manner. Then the pagans restarted practicing witchcraft. They invented all sorts of things to do harm. They transferred hatred and anger through various objects, they bewitched one’s footprint, and whispered into the wind, and spoke to the water. Others, however, as soon as something hurt them, instantly attributed it to the tricks of sorcerers and the Dark Forces. A moment of sadness was called fake longing. Completely innocent people were blamed. I think more ordinary women than actual witches suffered during the Inquisition.”

“Why?”

“There are far fewer real magicians than people tend to imagine. But people rejoice so much when their neighbor’s house is on fire, and even better if the neighbor himself is burning at the stake.”

“Didn’t the Church test witches and sorcerers?”

“They tested, yes, including by body weight. If, for example, the weight is the same as mine, go straight to the stake. Or if the eyes are different. Look at me, Svetlana. A living example for you. In the days of the Inquisition, my appearance and weight were an instant sentence without any appeal. But, in fact, I’ll tell you a secret, the Church wasn’t far from the sorcerers then.”

“In what way?”

“In the direct one. For example, in the period of the 13th-17th centuries, the Greek Church had a liturgical rite of cursing a person, called in Greek Psalmokatara, or cursing with the Psalms. A book I found in the church shop, described that disgusting procedure in detail. The action was performed by seven priests, and right inside the church.”

“It cannot be true!”

“Why by seven?”

“The procedure of cursing is directly opposite to the Holy Sacrament of Unction. The latter is healing, the Psalmokatara is affliction by diseases and adversity. The main gifts of the Holy Spirit are seven. During the black liturgy, each priest in turn deprived the cursed person of one of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit.”

“And how did it happen?”

“They used vinegar, quicklime and seven black candles made of tar. Along with the curse, they made a fiery petition for the most severe, immediate and comprehensive punishment of that wrong person and for his defeat with all sorts of ailments. The Troparion of Jude was recited.”

“Did it work?”

“It depended on who was cursed. The cursed person was supposed to turn black and die in the near future, and his body after death wouldn’t smolder, but used for some purpose by someone.”

“By whom?”

“By those who dac! – and bool-bool-bool. True, a person could have time to repent until the death of his physical body.”

“So what was in this case?”

“It was possible to remove the curse with a special procedure, similar to the Psalm cursing, but other prayers were recited.”

“Was there only Psalm, how was it called, or something else?”

“During the liturgy, the living ones were commemorated with the dead in order to… In both ancient Russian and Serbian breviaries, they found special prayers for causing harm with the help of spells on blood, water and other objects.”

“Wow… Listen, then, what was the spoilage based on? On the Psalms?”

“On the energy of thought. Someone says that the evil eye is the transmission of negative energy through the air. Someone calls negative energy an invisible fluid, saturated with evil will and hatred, which is sent straight from one person to another with the intention of causing harm. As soon as we think about someone, a Bridge is built between us, and the energy flows from the sender of the thought to the recipient.”

“I remember about the Bridge, you told me.”

“Although spoilage can also be a verbal suggestion of a negative development of events. Nowadays it’s customary to talk about the creation and direction of a poisonous thought-form, that is, an artificially created astral Essence. Sorcerers can collude with the real, and not artificially created, Essences of the Lower Astral, so that they contribute to the evil deed. The Dark Forces are always nearby, just waiting for someone to ask them for something like that. In any case, it all starts with an evil thought of a person. Any thought, both good and evil, can be directed at anything and anyone.”

“Listen, is this infection transmitted only through the air?”

“Not only…”

“Really?”

“I told you, through objects and through food as well.”

“Through food, is this when the sorcerer brews a special potion?”

“When you, for example, having quarreled with someone, are standing at the stove cooking dinner. And in your mind, scrolling through the quarrel, you conduct a furious dialogue with the one who has mortally offended you. And that’s it, your dinner is poisoned. You can throw it in the trash right away.”

“Come on, Alice!”

“It’s nothing to do with me. That’s why I told you then to whisper something of light for breakfast, and not whatever. One must be very careful not only with words, but also with thoughts. Cooking, cross-stitching, painting, as well as in general, creating something with your own hands, it has to be done only in a good mood of the Spirit.”

“So, can the gifts one gives to another, even if the giver is not a sorcerer, carry negative energy?”

“Certainly. It’s the same spoilage. You can put different bugs in your gift, seemingly without wishing it, unconsciously, if, for example, at the time of choosing a gift, you think about negative events.”

“What to do then? Shall we not accept any gifts at all?”

“I have already told you to listen to the inner voice, your intuition. If you feel anxiety, no matter whether it’s a gift or something you bought, it’s best to get rid of it.”

“So does everybody have the ability to kill the other?”

“Theoretically, yes. Practically, thank God, no. Everyone has different willpower and strength of thought. And in general, not much of what happens to us is due to the influence of Black Magic.”

“What do you mean? You have listed so many things, and now you’ll say again that you were kidding!”

“No, this is not a joke. This is the real truth. The prose of our life in the Earthly Reality. But you keep forgetting about God. Or rather, that God is stronger than Black Magic. And without His acknowledgement, not a single hair from your head will ever fall in your life.”

“Why does someone loose hair then?”

“For different reasons. Everyone has their own reason. You have to dig it out and fix it. Then the you’ll have a very thick braid.”

“Alice, stop mocking me! Tell me why and what to do.”

“Buy a shampoo against hair loss.”

“Sometimes I want to…”

“Here it is, spoilage! You don’t have to go far for an example. Firstly, many things happen to people solely because of their suspiciousness. As Mr. Bekhterev said, if a person has an inner prejudice about the possibility of his spoilage, the most insignificant reason is enough, it will have nothing to do with the spoilage, but the person will instantly fall ill. Fear in this case plays the role of a trigger, it automatically starts the program of self-destruction.”

“How can this be explained in terms of energy?”

“Simply, since energy follows thought. Remember this axiom once and forever. What a person’s attention is drawn to is fueled by his energy. As soon as the energy reaches a certain critical mass, the event materializes. Belief in spoilage and the fear of getting it is a binding of one’s gaze to Evil, and having been fed, it needs just to crawl out and manifest itself one way or another.”

“Is it self-programming for negative events?”

“It is. Rather, one of the varieties of spoilage is self-programming for negativity. No sorcerers are needed, since a person takes on their role. The future, as I said, is multivariate. But someone with his mind draws certain conclusions from his life experience or from template scenarios for the development of events. He decides that his tomorrow option is most likely the worst. The thought is attached to this option, the energy runs after it, so the worst comes true. By the way, in some sense, one more category of citizens has to do with it, too. Which one, do you think?”

“Alice, I’ll be guessing it until morning.”

“There is no need to guess. Some people enjoy the negative information of the latest news reports: disasters, plane crashes, murders, and the like. Some citizens are permeated with a secret love for such events, attracting them to themselves. A man I once crossed paths with at work a long time ago, addicted to black chronicles, was terribly afraid of flying on airplanes. And his job, as luck would have it, had to do with frequent business trips on the white artificial birds. So, he was drunk even before entering the plane. It ended badly.”

“Crashed?”

“No, addicted. And any form of addiction is a direct way to get in the network of the Lower Astral Essences. Addiction distances a person from God, from the Spirit. Rather, on the contrary, the Spirit, being a kite, moves away from a person into Heaven, because it’s uncomfortable for the Spirit to live in a dirty house, where Divinity is forgotten. The further the Spirit, the closer the Darkness, sometimes up to obsession. But we have already talked about that.”

“And what other kinds of spoilage exist, without the direct participation of sorcerers?”

“Sometimes it happens because of superstitions. People are slaves of superstition.”

“For example?”



“Well, I will.”

“So you will stagnate in place, rummaging through your purse with a businesslike look, as if you urgently needed to find a non-existent thing at that very place, here and now, or better to say, the reason why you cannot move from the cursed place until one of the passers-by, who has not seen the cat for your luck, crosses the magic line. Am I right or wrong?”

“Right.”

“Here is another side of human nature. In fact, you deliberately framed the passer-by. Let someone else, but not me. At the same time, you are unlikely to feel any remorse. However, the most interesting is that nothing bad threatens the passer-by.”

“Because he didn’t see the Cat?”

“Because God saw that someone framed the passer-by. This is the first. Secondly, even if God was distracted from the passer-by and switched His attention to the black cat, who at that moment almost fell under the wheels of a Mercedes, and God decided to save the poor fellow, because the cat hadn’t still caught enough rats in your, Svetlana, house, then…”

“Then the passer-by won’t be harmed either, because God was distracted by saving the cat, will he?”

“If the passer-by, like you, believes in bad luck of the black cats, but hasn’t seen the tailed one, he won’t be in danger. If the passer-by has seen the cat, but doesn’t believe in signs, he’ll even have fun watching you, Svetlana, painfully waiting for your liberation.”

“Why should he have fun?”

“Because each of us gives reality to what we believe in. If you believe in trouble from black cats, you’ll get into trouble. Surely, 100%. According to your faith, it will be given to you, Svetlana. Or, for example, tell me, if you feel the Dark Forces nearby, will it occur to you to rush to the wardrobe, take out a silk scarf and immediately wave it in the direction of the Dark One?”

“Of course not! I’ll probably recite a prayer. True, I should first learn at least one by heart. What does silk have to do with this?”

“In India and some other countries, it was believed that silk drives away Evil Beings. Therefore, silk worked well there for those who believed. On Athos, they make silk rosaries.”

“Okay, so what to do then?”

“Buy all the silk scarves in the city.”

“Alice, how to protect oneself from spoilage and Evil?”

“Don’t open the doors to just anyone and be clean.”

“Clean in what sense?”

“In all of them, Svetlana. Think about it, is there at least one person in this world to whom at least someone never wished evil or look at him only smiling during his lifetime?”

“Probably not.”

“Fine. I think so, too. Now think, why does spoilage work on some people, but not on everyone?”

“Well, I don’t know! Maybe the spoilage wasn’t strong enough.”

“It doesn’t matter, Svetlana, weak or strong. It’s important the inner content of a person. Sorcerers were, are and will be. Man is the greatest enemy of himself. If spoilage works on a person, it speaks only of his own fault.”

“It can’t be that!”

“Not a single Saint will be affected by any, even the most powerful, witchcraft. Any Saint is under the protection of the Spirit. If the Divine Spirit lives in his House, it will drive away anyone who dares to approach a person with negativity. If a person, with his dirty thoughts, words, deeds, has made the Spirit unable to stay in the House anymore, the Spirit gradually moves away, the protection weakens. Therefore, the main task of the White Magician is to reveal his own weak points. All the Saints in the monasteries were doing this to prevent the Spirit from leaving the House. The further the Spirit goes, the more defenseless we are.”

“But God sees everything, doesn’t He?”

“No doubts. Demons couldn’t even move into pigs without His permission. He will help you if you are worthy of it. Otherwise, any negative outside influence gains real power.”

“How to keep the Spirit in the House?”

“Oh, Svetlana, you won’t be sweet by force. The ancient Christian philosopher Origen believed that those who live according to the Gospel, to the Biblical Commandments, are not affected by either demons or Black Magic. In esotericism, the same thing is said in other words: if in the astral body of a person there is nothing similar to the negative thought-form sent to him, he won’t be harmed. If there is no evil in a person, any evil thought-form has nothing to cling to. Let’s say in another way, the human bio-field is the fortress protecting us against any negative third-party influences. Like attracts like, and opposites repel. If the psychic energy is balanced, neither evil eye nor spoilage is to be afraid of, the protective barrier will instantly send a poisonous arrow back to the sender. If a person has brought his inner state to an imbalance with his uncontrolled emotions, the fortress is destroyed. A hole or an energy breakdown is formed in it, and all sorts of nastiness immediately penetrates. You shouldn’t be afraid of sorcerers and spoilage, but of yourself. Evil Essences look for a weak point in a person. If they find one, they host it. If not, they go back to where they came from.”

“To that sorcerer?”

“Or to the sorcerer, or to an ordinary person who wished evil purposefully or not, but in his heart. It’s bound to come back, perhaps to his loved ones rather than to himself.”

“What a horror!”

“Send good thoughts and energy of love to everyone, and there will be no horror. The law works the same way.”

“What do you mean, the same?”

“Goodness and Love sent to those who don’t deserve them will return to you as a blessing. That is, you will feel even better than before.”

“An interesting thought!”

“Interesting, but difficult to implement in practice. We always have something to strive for.”

“Let’s say, I get it. What should the non-Saints do?”

“Turn their thoughts to Goodness and Love, Divine Love, Forces of Light, God. Sincerely. Ask everyone for forgiveness and forgive everyone. Give as much Good to the world as possible. Create good things.”

“Wait with Good, Alice! What to do if you are in a situation when an evil monster is shouting nasty things right in your face?”

“Recite prayers, addressing to a Saint or to all the Light Forces at once. You can put a virtual mirror between the monster and yourself so that he admires his reflection. You can imagine a silver cocoon around your physical body, as your protection. Spin it clockwise, let it spin. Or send the thought-form of Love and Goodness to the scoundrel, it will immediately return to you as a help. A lot of ways. The main thing is not to respond with Evil to Evil, that is, not to fall into Witchcraft and Black Magic and not feel fear. Your fear will feed the monster and launch a negative program inside you.”

“If I have been already spoiled, who can remove it? A White Magician?”

“The White Magician, who promises to remove one’s spoilage, is a Black Magician.”

“Why?”

“Once again, by God’s decision, the witchcraft has reached you. So, there was a reason for that, caused by your Self: your wrong behavior, attitude to something or someone, your way of thinking. So, you have to change something in yourself and turn to God and your Divine Spirit, the Higher Self, for help. If you change it, the protective barrier will be restored, and the spoilage will go away. Any other person, even if he can temporarily restore your protective barrier and the spoilage is suddenly removed, but you still don’t change anything in yourself, will make you feel worse. The hole will reappear, but much larger than it was before.”

“Why?”

“Asking a stranger Mr. X, you put him above God. I’m not even talking about the worldwide known fact, how ended the one who once tried to become equal to God. As the Russian Pinocchio sings, tell me his name.”

“The Satan.”

“Exactly. And the one who calls himself the White Magician who removes spoilage consciously or unconsciously engages in the Devilishness.”

“Even if they work with icons and Holy Water?”

“Holy Water is distributed to everyone in the church. No one forbids you to buy icons there. What does white magician have to do with it? There are also miraculous relicts in churches. You can hang a chain with cross around your neck. All these are Holy things, and they certainly help those who sacredly believe in them, but help only. Think about this word. They help you if you deserve it by changing something in yourself, removing the cause, turning to your Spirit and God. No white magician can forcibly return your own Spirit to its House. As a rule, white magicians who remove spoilage are either charlatans, or engaged in elementary bioenergetics, that is, by attracting energy they patch your broken defense, or they have an agreement with the Dark Forces, which will pretend to remove spoilage for a certain fee. Then they’ll demand even more from you for this. It’s difficult to get rid of Evil Beings. If a ‘white’ magician really works with the Lower Astral Evil Essences, and someone else has settled into you an Essence of the same Lower Astral level, though the Essences may differ, for example, it can be a thought-form or a kind of spoilage, then, as they say in the church, it’s impossible to a demon to expel another demon, since their strength is equal. That’s why there is nothing more difficult than for one magician to kill another magician.”

“So is that why the church excommunicates those who…?”

“The Church excommunicates, if I am not mistaken, for six years from Communion those who go to magicians, fortune-tellers and their brethren, even if the latter are hiding behind icons. Those who learn witchcraft from magicians and sorcerers are judged as murderers. Witchcraft belongs to the category of mortal sins, as a violation of the first Divine Commandment. In the book of Deuteronomy, there are strict warnings against communicating with whatever kind of magicians.”

“Even if Magicians are engaged in White Magic?”

“It’s difficult for a person to distinguish White Magic from Black. Many Magicians themselves don’t realize what they actually do, with whom they communicate during their work.”

“How then to distinguish true White Magicians from Black ones?”

“The question is what you personally want from the Magician and what consequences this will bring to the world. White Magicians are an extraordinary rarity, there are only a few of them in the world. Do you want to be cured? He won’t heal you. Go to a psychologist or dig out the causes of any bugs yourself. Eliminate the causes, turn to the Spirit and God, at the same time to the doctor of the physical body, and you don’t need any Magician. It’s exactly the same as in the case of spoilage.”

“I don’t understand why, if you are sure that someone is a White Magician, you can’t communicate with him!”

“If you are sure, communicate. It’s your right to choose. But the recommendations of the Church are given in general and for everyone. And the Church is absolutely right, because it’s dangerous, Svetlana, to open the Doors to anyone. It’s dangerous even to meditate, because we enter the Astral Realm, and there are a lot of those who want to harm us. If a person is pure and bright, he has protection there as well. He gets into the Middle and Higher Spheres of the Astral. If a person is dirty, they will let him visit only the Lower Astral. The state during meditation is mostly beyond our conscious will, it’s similar to a dream. In most dreams, as a rule, we are just watching dreams, being unable to influence the script.”

“Well, repeat please what exactly refers to Black Magic. You have said so much that now I have a mess in my head again, and I couldn’t write all that down!”

“Okay, the category of exclusively Black Magic, firstly, includes: spoiling, the evil eye and Voodoo dolls. No matter how and with what a magician covers himself, it’s an open infliction of harm to another person, up to one’s death. No one has the right to judge someone, to take on the role of God, punishing a person, even if he deserves it.”

“You are right, Alice. Nowadays, there are advertisements wherever you look, saying openly even like ‘Black Magician, I’ll kill your competitor’.”

“People have stopped thinking about the fact that Good cannot act by the methods of Evil to achieve their goals. Therefore, all love and anti-love spells belong to Black Magic. Since in this case, with the help of the Evil Essences of the Lower Astral, there is a violent intrusion into the Divine Will. If someone doesn’t love you, there is a reason for that, and God knows better why you cannot be together. Violence is also committed against the Spirit of another person. In fact, a love spell is a deprivation of the bewitched or spellbound of the right to choose his own path, the right given to each of us by Heaven at birth.”

“But for some reason, Black Magic is available to everyone nowadays. There are magicians in every corner. The question is money. And how many books with spells have been released! Once I went to a bookstore and read so many love spells and reversals that even if you read a new one every day, it’s enough for your lifetime. It’s no need to pay money, just go to the rack, take a book from the shelf, write out a spell and go to realize it.”

“I’m glad that most of the magicians are charlatans, and their spells in the books aren’t true.”

“What else is Black Magic?”

“Necromancy, as a violation of the Heavenly Laws, according to which it’s prohibited to summon those who have passed into Another Reality. I’ve told you and Sasha enough about that today in the mountains.”

“Zombies and werewolves are clearly Black Magic, aren’t they?”

“Of course, they are. I would also add Poltergeist and UFO to exclusively Black Magic, if they are a consequence of the sorcery. It happens that sorcerers purposefully attract the Lower Astral Essences to someone’s house for a poltergeist, or they appear to someone in the form of a flying object. I think, there is almost nothing to add to the category of exclusively Black Magic.”

“Why exclusively Black?”

“Not a single story about the life of the Saints, who had enormous magical abilities and were actually White Magicians, mentioned that any of them was engaged in Necromancy, cast spoil, turned corpses into zombies, made Voodoo dolls, bewitched someone or periodically became a werewolf. Here is the conclusion: there are such magical actions that in no way have good purposes and consequences, so they are performed exclusively within the framework of Black Magic.”

“What actions then can be referred to either White or Black Magic, depending on the purposes and consequences?”

“Sasha wanted to ask me the same thing. Let’s postpone this topic until the meeting on the roof, so as not to repeat it.”
