Day No. 8

CHAPTER 8.4. LINGUISTICS

We returned to the hotel and immediately went to classes in the gym.

We had to unite Yin-Yang into a single whole. RAM put on slow music to which we danced with our eyes closed, everyone danced in his own way. One of our hands represented Yin, the other – Yang, since in every person there is conditionally an inner woman and an inner man, or feminine and masculine energies.

We had to align and harmonize them, and at the end of the dance, both hands were to come together. It’s rather difficult to describe the exercise, but it was based on the feeling of love. After the dance, we came to each other, saying, “I love you,” which meant Divine Love. The phrase was banal, but I caught myself thinking that I had rarely said it to anyone in my life I really loved.

RAM told us about the language of relationship, one of the topics of her seminars, in particular, about the fact that we could communicate with each other on three levels: as a parent, as a child and as a sage.

After dinner, we had about half an hour before the night classes. I invited Svetlana onto the roof to walk on the glass. Sasha was already walking there, as usual.

“Daphne, I still don’t understand how to talk properly?”

“The one who starts a conversation first, usually, without hesitation, chooses a certain level. It’s always necessary to speak the same language and at the same time it’s desirable to lead the conversation to the level of sage. If a person talks as a parent, he looks down on the interlocutor, but an inner child lives in each of us, no one must offend him.”

“Alice, is linguistics the knowledge of all languages?”

“In the language of the Earthly Reality, linguistics is a science that studies languages, a part of semiotics, the science of signs. There is comparative-historical linguistics, which reveals the degree of kinship between different languages. This section appeared after Europeans discovered the literary language of ancient India, Sanskrit, closely related to Greek and Latin. It’s also said that both the Gothic and Celtic languages originated from the same progenitor as Sanskrit. In fact, there are several thousand languages in the world, both dead and living.”

“What about people who suddenly start speaking other languages?”

“It’s dangerous, you shouldn’t wish it for yourself, it may turn out that a person’s door is wide open, some guest has come at the light to talk about his own, the girlish things.”

“Where from?”

“That’s the question. Although in the Holy Books it’s believed that speaking many languages is a gift of the Holy Spirit, but for ordinary people, it’s quite possible neither the Holy nor the Spirit, but an evil essence of the Lower Astral. We are not Saints to be honored with the Holy Gifts so easily. Why should we know foreign languages if a language is just a code, a system of fixed signs and rules for their use and compatibility?”

“Why a code?”

“At the moment of communication, and even out of it, each person is always the Sender of some information, which sooner or later will find its Receiver. Encoding – speaking, writing a letter or a text, including poetry, is the activity of the Sender, and the Receiver is engaged in decoding while listening to or reading the message. It’s not about the code, or rather, in this case, not about the language, but about the thought or information embedded by the Sender even before encoding and sending the message outside. You can, of course, like phonetics, study sounds. Or, as graphics, units of written speech – letters, hieroglyphs. Phonetics and graphics consider the essence of linguistic signs perceived by hearing or sight, and semantics – the semantic content. However, it’s nonsense, because, firstly, only general rules are taken into account, and, for example, between close people there is their own language understandable only for them.”

“Between husband and wife?”

“Not only, between people working in the same team as well. Brother used to mention cowsheds, which had nothing to do with cows, and only those who were aware of the meaning could understand him correctly. Ray sometimes said three numbers, as one’s nickname, known for me and for him. It’s about some special code, set within a certain circle of people who are able to decode it correctly.”

“Having a key?”

“Exactly. Until the 19th century, linguistics didn’t study living language, only issued rules, telling us how to speak and write.”

“So what’s the correct way to speak, Alice?”

“As my English teacher at the Academy once told me, ‘Alice, don’t cast pearls before the swine!’ We should speak silently, Svetlana.”

“Why?”

“Half of the adults don’t catch the meaning of phrases if they contain more than 13 words. Children – more than 8. Men listen for a maximum of 15 minutes, while interrupting a woman in a conversation twice as often as a woman interrupts a woman. There are two types of communication, Svetlana. At the level of the Earthly Reality, it occurs primarily with words, then with signs, gestures, I mean auditory, visual and any other communication associated with the perception of information by our earthly senses. In this case, what matters is not what one says, but what is behind it in reality.”

“Listen to a woman and do the opposite!”

“Not always, Sasha. It’s believed that the understanding of the interlocutor consists of only 7% of the meaning of the words, 38% of intonation and 55% of facial expressions and gestures. But there is also communication at the level of Another Reality, which takes place beyond the earthly. This is how a soul talks to a soul. As they say in Christianity, one’s heart gives a message to another heart. Any thought is always limited by the word, and there is no limit to other forms of communication.”

“The language of the Soul?”

“Exactly. A person can use it not only with another person, but also with plants, stones, animals and the rest of the world. It’s not at all necessary to speak aloud, because this language doesn’t depend on words, it’s universal for everyone and everything.”

“Daphne, how does communication without words and gestures actually happen?”

“Each person is a device tuned to transmit their own and perceive other’s waves. If we could see what a vast ocean of waves we live in! After all, each being is constantly vibrating, whether it wants it or not, while simultaneously passing through itself all the waves of the rest of the world. I would even say, worlds. Both you, Sasha and Svetlana, and I, are the Sender and the Receiver of information. The smallest thought of a person is reflected in the life of another. People call the ocean the semantic field. The field doesn’t shift energy, it sends information in the form of a code or and image. The recipient will definitely react to the incoming information in one way or another, even if not at the level of Consciousness.”

“So how does it work?”

“The boss came to work not in a good mood. He didn’t even say a word to anyone. He walked down the corridor to his office and closed the door. He closed it, not slammed. But his bad mood was instantly perceived by the team, and everyone fell silent. Energy and vibrations are usually perceived unconsciously.”

“Are energy and vibration a thought?”

“And a thought as well. As Plato said, thoughts rule the world. Thought is energy, long electromagnetic waves emanating outside and capable of changing the world in one direction or another. They spread at a great speed and reconfigure everything they can out of what they get along the way. People have already learned to fix these waves. Don’t radiate negativity, control your radiation.”

“Do the waves affect only the one they are sent to?”

“Of course not. Everything around. However, if a person, having nothing negative and therefore protected by the Spirit from any evil in the raging ocean, is standing nearby the one who radiates negativity, such waves will bypass him.”

“How far will these waves go next?”

“They will go around the world, Svetlana. We are all too closely connected as with what is around us, so as with what is on the opposite side of the globe. Waves of vibrations are constantly penetrating us through, every second. It becomes quieter at night, because most people around you tend to sleep at night. Therefore, it’s easier to concentrate, to break into Another Reality. In monasteries, it’s believed that night prayer has a special power. True, from midnight to two after midnight, the Lower Astral is more active.”

“Daphne, every person, as you said, is unique. Does everyone emit their own vibrations?”

“Yes, Sasha. There are different Dimensions, different Worlds. They differ from each other in frequency or wavelength. It’s the same with people. All people radiate waves of the human realm, of the mankind. Plants have waves of the vegetable kingdom, stones – of the mineral kingdom, animals – of the animal kingdom. At the same time, each person has his own vibrations associated with the state of his chakras and bodies, thoughts, feelings, which are waves, each of them has its own parameters.”

“Alice, it’s so complicated!”

“Then, Daphne, there must be collective vibrations, right?”

“Quite right, the military ones or, for example, of monks. Getting together, they create collective energy fields that, being powerful enough, can have a strong effect on anything. Go to a military barracks, then into a monastery and feel the difference.”

“Daphne, explain me one thing. If, taking for example the case of your Stone Wall, you are the Sender of information that should be perceived by others, then, in theory, men should catch your message and not let you bypass them.”

“It’s logical, yes. Of course, if a woman is looking for a man, this information is written in her field. But, firstly, it can be read only by those who are predisposed to receive it, the information is not universal for everyone. It will be received not due to the power of the Sender, but due to the openness of the Recipient. Secondly, there is a great Force of attraction and repulsion operating in the world. Each person attracts into his world only those people who correspond to the parameters of his radiation, to the Heavenly pattern of the Soul. In Astrology, there is the concept of synastry, they check the compatibility of people according to their Natal Charts, or Heavenly Passports, that is, according to the patterns of planets and stars at the moment of birth, by applying one Passport on the other. Those who don’t have the corresponding stamp in the Passport bypass the person, because they don’t fit into the scanned information. Love and sympathy are the result of the match of the waves of two people. It’s not necessary to get a complete match. There is their amplification or resonance. It’s no coincidence that they say, a husband and wife should look in the same direction. Husband and wife are one Satan. If people change in different directions in the future, the parameters of their waves change too, they become strangers to each other and separate.”

“Daphne, so few people perceive your waves as their own, don’t they?”

“Sasha, did you often meet people like Alice?”

“No, Svetlana, I haven’t met such Daphnes yet!”

“In a book on psychology I read an interesting idea about Senders and Recipients. Someone has a friend, mother, grandmother, a beloved animal, whoever very, very important, the Most Important one in life. Suddenly, that someone loses the Most Important Person, for example, grandmother, because of her transition to Another Reality. He will subconsciously look for another one to fill the empty place. Not a grandmother, but the image with the same characteristics of his grandmother. The image is a code entered into the Sender’s information. If someone has the same code, the same image of the grandmother, it’s like having a key to the door where the money is, or a computer password. The person with the key will automatically become the Recipient of the Sender’s information, and there are options there. Option number 1, the Recipient doesn’t need the Sender, but becomes the Master of the Sender and can manage him like a puppet, up to dac and bool-bool-bool, if the Recipient is a vampire. Option number 2, the Recipient doesn’t need the Sender, but becomes his energy donor. Option number 3, the Recipient and the Sender need each other, that’s a happy ending story.”

“Alice, what if the Sender doesn’t need the Recipient?”

“The Sender always needs the Recipient.”

“What happens if the Sender doesn’t find the Recipient?”

“It will be very bad, because he lacks a link with the image, he suffers a lot and falls into depression.”

“Daphne, what horror stories you tell us! We live calmly and don’t think about either the Senders or the Recipients. But after everything you have just said, I am sure, he will find you. He needs you no less than you need him. He can’t pass you by. Apparently, he has just a long way to you.”

“Maybe, Sasha, it’s not far at all, but Alice hasn’t completed some important work yet, so they don’t let him near her, or don’t let him read her information. She is under the hood of the Higher Forces. Alice, how to read another person?”

“Tune in, Svetlana, and vibrate to the beat with him.”

“Are you kidding?”

“Not at all. You have to speak the same language, the language of the Soul, that is vibration. People invented the word compassion, think about it, it’s like co-feeling, to feel the same thing with someone, to tune into his wave.”

“Alice, this is a way for those who can feel. And how can those who don’t feel read another one? You said that not only words, but all sorts of gestures can tell us a lot, right?”

“Yes, Daphne, please shed some light on this matter. It’s very useful for my business.”

“A hackneyed and boring topic. You’ll never receive complete reliable information with your eyes, or with your mind, or with your hearing. Just sketchy. It’s even worse if you try to read someone you’re biased against, if you don’t want to know the truth subconsciously, if you have an emotional connection with this person, if he is afraid of you, or if you need him too much. It’s a long list to mention everything that can interfere with objectivity.”

“Well, Daphne, let’s say that Svetlana and I are objective, and the person at the interview is afraid of us. What to do?”

“Tell him something about yourself first. The person will probably relax, start to trust you, and you can get something honest in return. But keep in mind that he is no more honest with you than with anyone else he meets, and even less honest when it comes to hiring. It’s impossible to predict one’s behavior until a stressful situation. Not only a friend, any person is known in trouble or when a problem arises.”

“I see, so what to look at while reading?”

“From external to internal. If you look at appearance, there are non-elective points, something given by nature, a person can’t change. For example, human height. There are partially non-elective ones – weight, facial features, and so on, that is, what is given, but a person can change, for example, with the help of plastic surgery, or he can live calmly and cheerfully, not paying any attention to… It’s important how a person treats these points. It speaks of his self-esteem, dependence on the opinions of others.”

“Do clothes belong to elective points?”

“Clothes, hair, jewelry, so on. If a woman has an excessive make-up, she may be not self-confident. Look at the appropriateness and compatibility of the items of clothing, the chosen colors, style, especially the inscription, if any, all kinds of handkerchiefs, gloves, hats, ties, watches, hairpins, earrings, rings, bags…”

“Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses, right, Daphne? By the way, your work with them was amazing. I still can’t believe my eyes, aerobatics!”

“If, for example, a woman has dyed hair, why of this particular color? In general, pay attention to what catches your eye. As a rule, everything unusual is very important. Even small deviations from the average image can tell about one’s priorities. You have to understand whether it is temporary or permanent.”

“What do you mean?”

“Well, today a person can be not in a good mood, but he is an optimist. Or, for example, a person came to you on a date from the countryside, wanted to go home to change clothes, but stood in a traffic jam and didn’t succeed. But, perhaps, your chosen one has the artist’s syndrome, and he always dresses like that, he doesn’t care about the opinions of others, because the Soul is more important, or he is just too lazy to dress like a human being. If excessive accuracy shines through, perhaps the person is selfish, petty, inflexible, conceited. If the clothes smell of conservatism, the person depends on the opinions of others, waiting for the recognition, is practical, authoritarian.”

“Do creative people always have the artist’s syndrome?”

“No, they can be bright in clothes, extraordinary, but not at all sloppy. They are independent. They have one thing in common with the artists, the opinion of others doesn’t matter. Some extravagant personalities deliberately form a certain image in order to cause admiration and recognition of others; as a rule, they have low self-esteem.”

“What do watches, glasses, ties and like that tell us about?”

“About many things. Finances, hobbies, lifestyle, taste, culture, intelligence, social environment, priorities, ways of self-expression, attitude to the outside, religiosity. You just have to remember: all elective points are what we want to look like in the eyes of others. We consciously demonstrate something on a case-by-case basis.”

“So, Daphne, if a girl comes to a job interview all in diamonds, it doesn’t mean she is friends with Jupiter, does it?”

“Perhaps she borrowed them from a friend just for the interview.”

“Okay, we understand about the appearance. And what about a person talking about himself?”

“If a person is talking about something, without your questions, listen carefully. As a rule, it’s something very important for him. And the more a person speaks on a topic, the more he is connected with some aspect of it. It’s better never to interrupt, not to argue, not to criticize. By the way, you can interrupt, even by casually yawning, or by some gesture, including looking at your watch. It’s necessary to confirm attention by inserting ‘yes’ or nodding your head in agreement.”

“What if a person is silent like a partisan?”

“It’s better to ask open questions, as they imply more space for answers. Leading and additional questions only lead the conversation in the direction you need. By the way, the more difficult it is to get any information from a person, the more valuable it can be. There are still nuances. For example, don’t ask serious questions if you don’t see the interlocutor’s eyes. That is why many topics are not suitable for phone talks. I don’t like talking on the phone at all. It’s undesirable to allow long reflection on the answer.”

“Even if we are talking about a wedding?” asked Svetlana.

“I don’t think that you or Sasha at a job interview will offer a person to get married immediately.”

“What’s better to ask, Daphne?”

“When a person is in front of you, it comes by itself what exactly to ask. Usually, they ask about the past, because we all come from childhood, the present is also important, because it’s here and now, and the future, what direction a person looks in and what he dreams about. I like to ask what dreams a person had as a child, whether he realize them or not. How, if yes, and why, if no. About the present, what does he do in his free time? About the future, what are his dreams and plans for the next 5, 10 and so on years? I interviewed a lot of people and got very interesting answers. Once, a boy from a competing company with multimillion-dollar Western capital came to us to get a job as an ordinary salesman with a corresponding meager salary. So he said that he planned to become the owner of the competitor in five years. I asked, with whose money, and he replied, ‘with yours’.”

“Daphne, did you send him right away or did you keep torturing him with questions?”

“I was entertained by further questions, since such candidates are rarely found. You can also ask about the book, the film, the picture that made the strongest impression on a person in his life, about the happiest and unluckiest day. You can ask about the time machine: how would he live his life if he could now return to the very beginning. What day would you like to change? About a lot of things, just not pressing. You don’t have to invade one’s personal space. That is, the distance between the interlocutors should not be less than an outstretched hand. Once I found myself at the interview. I was sitting on a sofa relatively far from the person, and my earthly vision is not very good, so my Third Eye automatically turned on. I felt uncomfortable, I wanted to get at least some chair to move closer. Therefore, be careful with the distance in both directions.”

“Wait, Alice. So what does it mean if a person would have lived his life differently? And his childhood dreams?”

“The one who has failed to achieve something he really wanted, as a rule, has a victim mentality, often blames others for his failures, is more pessimistic and less hardworking. In the worst case, you see a bilious, angry, vindictive and cynical person. A person who has achieved his goal with great difficulty has a besieged fortress mentality, becomes withdrawn, hidden, harsh, distrustful, suspicious, at the same time, he is hardworking. I talked with the owner of a large plant, he was a typical example of a fortress. For several years, they had been trying to take away his plant in every possible way.”

“Daphne, does it matter how a person speaks, with what intonation?”

“Certainly. For example, if he speaks loudly, this may not mean anger, but a desire to dominate. Too fast, perhaps trying to convince the interlocutor of something, or nervous, or lying. If he suddenly begins to speak more slowly, perhaps it’s a lie too, although more often it’s about thoughtfulness or drawing the attention of the interlocutor to the issue. We emphasize the most important moments by intonation. A pause shouldn’t be interrupted. At this moment, the person is thinking what to answer. A pause, like an unfinished phrase, can mean an unwillingness to answer, or you caught a person by surprise, or he feels fear, less often disgust for the subject of your conversation. Once at a speech, I was asked an elementary question, but I was convulsively recalling a poem by Blok in order to quote it as an answer. The questioner decided that I didn’t know what to answer, and changed the subject.”

“What was the question?”

“Something about whether a real poet can be happy.”

“So what did Blok say about this?”

“There goes a stupid poet, he is always weeping about something. He wants to go beyond the sea.”

“Alice, don’t get distracted by the sea, we are in the mountains! So what does the voice tell us?”

“The voice always tells us about many things: fatigue, excitement, joy, fear… Speech and intonation are a way of non-verbal expression of one’s state. Pay attention to the way one speaks. When a person speaks indistinctly, stutters, it is either a lie, or uncertainty, or nerves. If a person constantly interrupts, he feels impatience, he is bored or unpleasant, he wants to change the topic. Actually, you can get away from the topic by answering a question with a question.”

“Something more about the insecure ones, Alice?”

“Some people try to compensate for low self-esteem by humiliating others, thus feeling their superiority. Gossipers are from the same series, they try to get attention, to rise above others. Those who boast or exaggerate their worth are insecure, too, they are waiting for approval and praise. In the same category, there are those who make self-critical remarks about themselves hoping that you will disagree with them. They need support, help, sympathy, they seem to be waiting for your reaction.”

“So when a woman says she’s overweight, she wants me to prove to her that she is thin?”

“Yes, that’s right. She’ll be very offended if you say, ‘I love plump ones!’ It’s also important that during the conversation the person doesn’t take a defensive position. It’s difficult to get a person out of it, and after that you are unlikely to be able to count on frankness, as well as on a favorable outcome of the conversation.”

“Daphne, I think this is about you. You are so delicate, sensitive, an accidental careless word, and you’ll immediately hide in a house like a snail or turn into a hedgehog! Okay, I’m kidding.”

“By the way, when a person says that he’s just kidding, after kidding, he was not kidding at all.”

“Alice, what if I don’t know a person, he flashes somewhere around periodically, how can I get to know him?”

“You can, of course, get information from third parties. Just keep in mind that behind the eyes they can say anything. It’s more effective to get to know the flashing person personally. Look where and how he flashes. Always in the center, he is the leader, can be arrogant. Or is he a wingman? Or a lone wolf? The wolves, Svetlana, are usually secretive. They look dangerous, but they are very… gentle.”

“Alice, what about body movements?”

“What associations wolves caused you! Watch the way a person walks, at his gait – confident, fast or slow. A wide step means authoritarianism, rigidity, self-confidence, for example. If a person walks back and forth across the room, he is nervous or thinking about something.”

“If a girl enters the office for an interview with a wobbly gait, it’s immediately clear that she needs not a job.”

“It’s not just the gait that speaks about it. Excessive make-up, too much perfume, inappropriate clothing, constantly fixing hair, shooting eyes, as, indeed, a look into the eyes, especially a close one, touches, an attempt to reduce personal space. Although, there are nuances there too. The East and the West, that is, different nations have different distances of personal space. The basic rule says, if a person retreats from you, don’t approach him anymore, the distance he chooses himself is comfortable for him.”

“Alice, you are so smart, you know everything, but you don’t use anything from the female arsenal. Put on something provocative, paint your face in combat color and go to shoot at passers-by with your eyes!”

“Why does Daphne need this, Svetlana? A person should be loved as he is, without any embellishments. There is no need to be different or appear to be someone you are not in reality. Sooner or later, a man will recognize the real Daphne saying, he fell in love with another woman that day, not the real one. Daphne, relax and be yourself! He will definitely find you and love you. Moreover, you are very beautiful, and everything in you is combined perfectly: both internal and external. I’m not even talking about Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses! Let’s continue… So, a person entered the office. What to look at next?”

“The way he sat down in a chair, on a sofa or whatever. What is his posture? Straight back means self-confidence, perhaps pride, a leader, and vice versa. It’s bad if a person looks over his glasses or keeps his hands in his pockets, he is authoritarian and despotic. If a person crosses his arms or puts a bag in front of him, he builds a barrier, a protective wall. Closing the eyes, face, mouth, an overly sincere, interested or shifty look, fussy movements, quick speech, rubbing of the nose, all these can speak of a lie. If a girl nods her head, twists strands of her hair, scratches her ear, looks around, she is thinking about something. True, you can stare into the eyes of the interlocutor, completely immersed in your own thoughts. In general, immobility indicates attention to one’s thoughts or to the words of the interlocutor.”

“What if he avoids an eye contact?”

“Unwillingness to meet eyes can speak of both insincerity and fear, for example, a person is nervous and tries to defend himself, or arrogance. Anxiety or excitement is given out by a person when he clicks a pen, touches his glasses, adjusts his clothes, strokes his hair, mustache, beard; clasps his hands. Leaders tend not to show signs of anxiety. Furrowed eyebrows or wrinkled nose means that he is dissatisfied with something, expresses distrust. Clenched lips or teeth, fingers, fists mean tension. Pressed or biting lips show an offence. If a person glances at the clock, sways in the chair, fidgets, yawns, sighs, stretches, plays with a pen or pencil, or glasses, draws something on paper automatically, glides aimlessly around the room or looks out the window, he is bored and tired of being there. As a rule, arrogant people get bored very quickly and are not able to listen to the interlocutor.”

“What to do then?”

“Change the topic of the conversation for an interesting one to the person, or end the negotiations and shake hands. Leaders have a firm handshake, and if it’s purely mechanical, the person is secretive. I hold out my hand so that they shake it or kiss it as they see fit.”

“You are secretive, Daphne! Do you always read people like this?”

“No, I have never read them like that. I either feel them or I don’t. I see images sometimes, or I see them as trees, or flowers, or geometric shapes, always different. When communicating, I never think about whether to click my pen now or look at my watch. We don’t control the signs in most cases. The subconscious mind reads information from one’s vibrations. People read it with the help of gestures, postures, intonation, since it’s easier. But it’s necessary to consider each characteristic in the context, not separately, then the picture will be close to reality. It’s even better to learn to adjust to a person. If it doesn’t work out with the waves, at least visually.”

“What do you mean?”

“First, we adjust ourselves, mirroring his postures and gestures, and then we make some movement, watching carefully whether the interlocutor mirrors it. If yes, the adjustment has occurred, so we are on the same wavelength.”

“What else is interesting?”

“It’s interesting for me to look at the decoration of one’s house or office, you can understand a lot of things without any gestures and words. One has amazing paintings on the wall in his office, another has icons, and someone – a portrait of the president. One’s house is more interesting, of course. There is more freedom there, a person’s home is actually himself.”

“Daphne, what to pay attention to?”

“Well, cleanliness, order or disorder, don’t worry about it if you came to the house unexpectedly. As a rule, before the arrival of the guests, everyone puts the house in order, and so, in the middle of the week, if everyone works, even the devil will break his head in a hell of a mess. Pictures, calendars – what is depicted? What are the frames of the pictures? Which rooms have which paintings? For example, you, Sasha, would rather place a calendar in front of your eyes for all year long, if its images are something dear and pleasant to you. Perhaps one collects something. What exactly? Photos – whose? From what places? Books – what about, in what genre, or are they out of sight? Films – what about? Plants – which ones and how many? Music, musical instruments? Perhaps something sporty – balls, rackets, cups? Pets or fish, birds? Each animal symbolizes something with its character, so they have something in common with the owner. What kind of furniture? Color, location, quantity – excessive or minimal, style and so on. All sorts of little things: candles, figurines, clocks, mirrors, items on the desk, on bedside tables, on window sills…”

“If they gave me some kind of figurine as a gift, is that really me?”

“No one puts on public display the gift he doesn’t like. Smells are important, too, for example, the house may smell some incense.”

“Someday, Daphne, invite us to your place. I’m eager to see and read your flat.”

“Sasha, Alice’s house is not a flat, but a museum. There’s a lot of things there! You can even silently walk through the rooms in order to understand everything about her at once. The aura is amazing, the energy is powerful, penetrating. Even Nonna, once visiting her, wondered how Alice didn’t explode there. Alice, what else should we pay attention to?”

“It’s interesting if children’s toys are present in a house of the grown up. One’s car is indicative too, its condition, color, brand, all sorts of decorations, with which especially girls like to cover windows and distract the attention of drivers from the road. Everything in the house, and in the car, and in the office, says us not so much about finances, but about the values, priorities of a person, about his views and interests, his past and present. Almost everything. Most of us unconsciously receive this information, while visiting, we read it subconsciously.”

“So Svetlana, if you go to visit someone, don’t make a list of the items to pay attention to in advance, and don’t put a cheat sheet in front of you at the interview. Daphne, are you ever going to invite us to your flat? We’ll come without cheat sheets, I swear you!”

“Welcome before I leave for the monastery.”

“Oh, Daphne, do you mean before the Stone Wall takes you to his castle?”

***

We lay down on the mantras. The music started playing. I closed my eyes and instantly moved to a familiar field in the mountains. After passing through 108 springs, I came to the abyss. There used to be a thin thread stretched over the abyss, along which I had got to the Monastery on the hill, but the thread had disappeared.

“Okay, I’ll walk the air,” I thought and took the first step. In a few moments, I stepped on the solid ground, went up to the Monastery and froze, because I saw myself there. I was a ghost, or rather, it was my phantom, a copy of the Girl, I had painted against the background of the dark blue sky.

The Girl was sitting on the steps of the Monastery and reading a huge book, as transparent as she was. The Moon Cat ran past me and, having reached the Girl, curled up at her feet.

“Yes, you are not mistaken, Alice,” I heard a quiet voice and turned round, the familiar Monk came towards me. “You have been living here since the last time you visited us.”

“Is it possible?” I was surprised. “Well, I mean, can I live on the Earth and here at the same time?”

“You study here, while on the Earth…” the Monk smiled.

I got lost in thoughts. The Girl closed the book, sighed, got up from the steps and entered the Monastery. The Cat ran up to me and, slipping through me, headed to the well with the Holy Water.

“Where did she go?” I asked.

“To the library. She has just finished reading a book and needs the next one.”

“How long will she, well, will I live here?” I asked, but the Monk sighed saying nothing. “Okay, who decides that?”

“It’s the right way, Alice,” the Monk looked into the sky. “It’s a joint decision. Both yours and Heaven’s.”

“And why did the thread over the abyss disappear?”

“We removed it on purpose. Too many people began to come to the field.”

“What kind of people?”

“All kinds,” said the Monk thoughtfully. “Pilgrims come in their earthly bodies and in the astral ones, just as you came for the first time. That field and those mountains with springs exist in both dimensions at the same time, there is a Transition Point, a Corridor, a combination of Realities. Those who get to this place in the physical body, of course, see neither the thread, nor our Monastery. Therefore, they bypass the mountain and 108 springs in the physical world and leave. Many of those who come in their astral projection remain in the field, meditate and return back to their earthly bodies. Others, like you, go through 108 springs and reach the abyss. But only a few of them dare go further. Most people stop and think that somewhere there must be another, a less dangerous way to our Monastery. So they turn around and leave. You didn’t leave then, being not afraid to walk a thin thread over the abyss, and found us here.”

“Why don’t you want others to come here too?”

“We want only those who really need and deserve it to come here. Only people of Light, whose Souls are exceptionally light, will be able to walk the air without falling into the abyss.”

The Girl left the monastery and approached the Monk. A request as a quiet sad light was pouring out of her eyes. The Monk nodded in agreement. The Girl called the Moon Cat and walked towards the abyss.

“She sometimes descends into the world, to people,” Monk explained.

“Why?”

“She misses the Earth and wants to find a man there.”

“Will she find him?” I asked excitedly.

“There are two conditions, Alice. We want him to find her himself. He should feel her. He needs to have a Soul of Light and be strong. It’s possible, though unlikely, that he will come to our Monastery while the Girl lives here. This is one of our filters.”

“Is it the glass hood my Teacher sees around me?” I sighed heavily.

“Yes, your Teacher sees it quite right,” the Monk smiled. “Thus, the earthly people hardly notice you. The hood also performs a protective function, meanwhile the Girl reads books here. There are a lot of books in the monastery library. Most of them she would never be able to read on the Earth, because they don’t exist there.”

“And when they meet, will she be able to leave here?”

“You still don’t understand the most important thing. Perhaps she will return much sooner, or perhaps she will stay here forever. Let’s say it’s better for her now to stay with us in order to finish her Book,” the Monk said thoughtfully and smiled.

“And what will be when the book is finished?”

“She will have the right to choose again.”

“What to choose?”

“To choose Heaven or Earth.”

The bell rang. The monks left the Monastery with books in their hands and sat in the garden at tables that looked like school desks. The Girl returned from the world and sat down at the desk in the last row. A huge book appeared and opened right in front of her. I went there to read the title. Two words in silver letters appeared on the transparent astral sheet, “The Book of Knowledge”. I didn’t disturb myself and left for the abyss to return to the world. The Monk stopped me, made a sign of cross in the area of my Third Eye with the fingers of his right hand and said, “Now go, people need you. And think once again about my words.”

I nodded, “Thank you.” The music was over. We slowly returned to our earthly bodies.

Sasha, whose mat was nearby, leaned towards me and asked in a whisper, “Daphne, tell me, I saw everything! Where did you fly away so quickly and instantly?”

“To the Monastery, Sasha,” I sighed. “Where else can I fly?”

“But what are you doing there?”

“You won’t believe it, I live there!”
