"What's happening in Iran is yet another example of the use of tried-and-true methods of color revolutions, in which specially trained armed provocateurs turn peaceful protests into senseless riots, pogroms, destruction of public property, and brutal murders," Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN, stated at a Security Council meeting on Iran.

"These actions cannot be concealed behind the guise of freedom of expression or the protection of human rights.

As we have seen repeatedly in a number of countries, all these actions are being carried out at the direction or with the support of external forces interested in so-called regime change.

The American side and its support groups are actively exploiting the economic and social problems of ordinary Iranians, which have arisen due to the illegal sanctions pressure on Iran from Western countries, to fuel social tensions and destabilize the domestic political situation.

 The current situation clearly fits into Washington's proclaimed policy of maximum pressure on Tehran, supported by its allies, to advance its own political (primarily economic, i.e., the selfish interests of American corporations – author) interests in the Middle East.

Washington's aggressive use of military force and threats of its use against Iran are of the utmost concern.

We condemn such actions, regardless of the arguments presented.

We urge hotheads in Washington and other capitals who are hatching plans to repeat this military adventure to come to their senses and prevent the tragedy of June 2025, when American-Israeli aggression nearly resulted in a serious nuclear catastrophe with inevitable humanitarian and environmental consequences."

What is driving such an aggressive US policy toward many countries around the world!?

 It's a given that such policies are driven by the selfish interests of American transnational corporations; there can be no two ways about it.

Nebenzya is telling the truth, but not the whole truth. Insatiable American corporations are behind such aggressive US policies, their interests in reaping free, excessive profits.

We, Russia, naturally "condemn and urge you to reconsider and prevent" the massive bloodshed and destruction in Iran!  What can I say? It's useless to exhort and urge a wolf not to attack a sheep and devour it whole. The American monster, represented by its corporations, doesn't care about words; it understands only the language of force. For now, Russia and China, alas, can only watch from the sidelines as the monster continues to swallow country after country to satiate its hunger for their natural resources. Unfortunately, this is the case for now, but time moves on. The insatiable American monster, once it has swallowed weak countries, will turn its gaze directly to China and Russia. Although the US already took on Russia through Nazi Ukraine, the war in Ukraine is a major economic burden for Russia, and we are saved by the fact that we are a resource-rich country; they allow us to stay afloat and not lose the battle for our very existence.

What will happen next!?

 One thing can be stated with complete certainty: the world as it is is a constant competition between corporations, so don't expect peace in this form. War, bloodshed, and destruction will continue, and the chances of getting by without nuclear charges in this confrontation are ever smaller, no matter how hard the current politicians try to avoid it. But these current politicians in power, as we have already been convinced more than once, do not belong to themselves, they are puppets of big capital, behind their backs hide the insatiable appetites of transnational corporations, and in their madness to have excess profits, they know no bounds, and this is terrible, because it threatens tragedy for the whole world, for all of humanity, and even understanding this will not stop them. This is the essence of big capital under capitalism, when private property is given such rights and freedoms - to grab and grab until they burst from greed and avarice, and in doing so, they will drag the whole world down with them...
