Black Sun Is Just the Source of Divine Energy

Just about everybody confuses the Black Sun with the symbol (Sun Wheel – Sonnenrad in German) on the floor of the Obergruppenf;hrersaal (SS-Generals’ Hall) in Wewelsburg castle in Germany.

In reality, Sonnenrad (it is not even black, but dark green in color) is an ancient magical symbol discovered by Karl Maria Wiligut, appropriated by SS-Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler and used for unknown purpose.

In the late XX century, the Black Sun symbol became widely used by neo-fascists, neo-Nazis, the far-right and white nationalists. The symbol often appears on extremist flags, t-shirts, posters, and websites and in extremist publications associated with such groups.

Fortunately, not everyone (for all practical purposes) equates Sonnenrad with Nazi Swastika. The Anti-Defamation League (of all organizations) stated that though the symbol is popular with white supremacists, imagery resembling the black sun features in many cultures, and should be analyzed in the context it appears, and not necessarily interpreted as a sign of white supremacy or racism.

Actually, Sonnenrad is used by some modern neo-pagan groups as an esoteric symbol. And even as a politically neutral, purely aesthetic symbol incorrectly believed to have origins in ancient Scandinavian or Slavic cultures (in reality, it is ancient German and Celtic symbol).

The name "Black Sun" came into wider use after the publication of a 1991 occult thriller novel, Die Schwarze Sonne von Tashi Lhunpo (The Black Sun of Tashi Lhunpo), by the pseudonymous author Russell McCloud.

The book links the Wewelsburg mosaic with the neo-Nazi concept of the "Black Sun" (which has nothing to do with real Black Sun), invented by former SS officer Wilhelm Landig as a substitute for the Nazi swastika and a symbol for a mystic energy source that was supposed to renew the Aryan race.

The real Black Sun (which should be more properly called Dark Sun or Invisible Sun) is an invisible, intangible, spiritual object which is the source – conduit, to be more precise – of Divine Energy. Its original symbol has nothing to do with Sonnenrad – it is (no surprise here) a black disk.

The Black Sun is extremely important for Kundalini awakening as is provides Divine Energy (via its connection to Crown Chakra and through the system of chakras) in the amount necessary to initiate the awakening of Kundalini.
