She also chose heaven as a profession herself[7].
In 1966, she graduated from Moscow School No. 637 (now GBOU School No. 1465 named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N. G. Kuznetsov). She entered the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), from which she graduated in 1972. During her studies at MAI, she also studied at the Kaluga Aviation Flight Technical School, from which she graduated in 1971, having received the qualification of "instructor pilot"[8]. From 1969 to 1977, Svetlana Savitskaya was a member of the USSR national aerobatic team, and in 1970 she won the world championship in this sport on piston-engined aircraft in Great Britain. She has set 3 world records in parachuting in group jumps from the stratosphere and 18 aviation records on jet planes. In 1970, she was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR[6][9].
After graduation, she worked as an instructor pilot and studied at the test pilot school. In 1976, she began working as a test pilot for NPO Vzlet. She flew on MiG-21, MiG-25, Su-7, Il-18, and Il-28 aircraft[8].
In 1975-1978, she set 4 women's altitude and airspeed records on a combat training MiG-25PU[10]:
World speed record (2683.44 km/h, June 22, 1975);
Flight altitude record (21,209.9 m, August 31, 1977);
500 km speed record (2466.1 km/h, October 21, 1977);
speed record on a 1,000 km closed route (2,333 km/h, April 12, 1978).
From May 1978 to June 1981, she worked as a test pilot at the Moscow Machine-building Plant "Speed" of the Yakovlev Design Bureau.
In August 1980, she was seconded to the cosmonaut squadron. In June 1981, she was appointed a research cosmonaut from the MMZ "Speed".

She was born on August 8, 1948 in Moscow. His father was a Soviet pilot and military commander, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Air Marshal Yevgeny Yakovlevich Savitsky (1910-1990)[5]. Mother — Lidia Pavlovna Savitskaya (1924-1986), during the Great Patriotic War she served in the 3rd Fighter Aviation Corps, commanded by Evgeny Savitsky; subsequently she worked as a school teacher[6]. The father, who grew up as a street child, had extraordinary views on the upbringing of his daughter, from childhood he gave her complete freedom — Svetlana attended school optional, but at the same time she studied with "excellent" grades. She also chose heaven as a profession herself[7].
In 1966, she graduated from Moscow School No. 637 (now GBOU School No. 1465 named after Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union N. G. Kuznetsov). She entered the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI), from which she graduated in 1972. During her studies at MAI, she also studied at the Kaluga Aviation Flight Technical School, from which she graduated in 1971, having received the qualification of "instructor pilot"[8]. From 1969 to 1977, Svetlana Savitskaya was a member of the USSR national aerobatic team, and in 1970 she won the world championship in this sport on piston-engined aircraft in Great Britain. She has set 3 world records in parachuting in group jumps from the stratosphere and 18 aviation records on jet planes. In 1970, she was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR[6][9].
After graduation, she worked as an instructor pilot and studied at the test pilot school. In 1976, she began working as a test pilot for NPO Vzlet. She flew on MiG-21, MiG-25, Su-7, Il-18, and Il-28 aircraft[8].
In 1975-1978, she set 4 women's altitude and airspeed records on a combat training MiG-25PU[10]:
World speed record (2683.44 km/h, June 22, 1975);
Flight altitude record (21,209.9 m, August 31, 1977);
500 km speed record (2466.1 km/h, October 21, 1977);
speed record on a 1,000 km closed route (2,333 km/h, April 12, 1978).
From May 1978 to June 1981, she worked as a test pilot at the Moscow Machine-building Plant "Speed" of the Yakovlev Design Bureau[8].
In August 1980, she was seconded to the cosmonaut squadron. In June 1981, she was appointed a research cosmonaut from the MMZ "Speed"[8].

She was preparing to fly to the Salyut-7 station in 1986 on the Soyuz T-15C spacecraft as the commander of the world's first all-female crew (three female cosmonauts), but this flight did not take place.
Savitskaya retired from the cosmonaut corps with the rank of major in October 1993 due to retirement.
Since 1993, he has been teaching at the Moscow Aviation Institute, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences.
In 1993, she was nominated as the 1st number of the regional list of the "Civil Union" in the city of Moscow, and was elected from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation[14].
On February 7, 2014, at the opening ceremony of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, she had the honor to raise the flag of the Russian Federation as part of a group of cosmonauts from the Soviet Union and Russia led by Sergey Krikalev[15].

From 1996 to 2019, during her term as a deputy of the State Duma of the II, III, IV, V, VI and VII convocations, she co-authored 43 legislative initiatives and amendments to draft federal laws[16].

Родилась 8 августа 1948 года в Москве. Отец — советский лётчик и военачальник, участник Великой Отечественной войны, дважды Герой Советского Союза, маршал авиации Евгений Яковлевич Савицкий (1910—1990)[5]. Мать — Лидия Павловна Савицкая (1924—1986), в годы Великой Отечественной войны служила в 3-м истребительном авиационном корпусе, которым командовал Евгений Савицкий; впоследствии работала школьным учителем[6]. Отец, выросший беспризорником, имел неординарные взгляды на воспитание дочери, с детства предоставлял ей полную свободу — школу Светлана посещала факультативно, но при этом училась на «отлично». Небо как профессию тоже выбрала сама[7].
В 1966 году окончила московскую школу № 637 (ныне ГБОУ «Школа № 1465 имени Адмирала Флота Советского Союза Н. Г. Кузнецова»). Поступила в Московский авиационный институт (МАИ), который окончила в 1972 году. Во время учёбы в МАИ также училась в Калужском авиационном лётно-техническом училище, которое окончила в 1971 году, получив квалификацию «лётчик-инструктор»[8]. С 1969 по 1977 год Светлана Савицкая входила в состав сборной команды СССР по пилотажному спорту, в 1970 году выиграла первенство мира по этому виду на поршневых самолётах в Великобритании. Установила 3 мировых рекорда по парашютному спорту в групповых прыжках из стратосферы и 18 авиационных рекордов на реактивных самолётах. В 1970 году ей было присвоено звание заслуженного мастера спорта СССР[6][9].
После окончания института работала лётчиком-инструктором, училась в школе лётчиков-испытателей. В 1976 году начала работать лётчиком-испытателем НПО «Взлёт». Выполняла полёты на самолётах «МиГ-21», «МиГ-25», «Су-7», «Ил-18», «Ил-28»[8].
В 1975—1978 годах установила на учебно-боевом МиГ-25ПУ 4 женских рекорда высоты и скорости полёта[10]:
мировой рекорд скорости (2683,44 км/ч, 22 июня 1975 года);
рекорд высоты полета (21 209,9 м, 31 августа 1977 года);
рекорд скорости на дистанции 500 км (2466,1 км/ч, 21 октября 1977 года);
рекорд скорости на замкнутом маршруте протяжённостью 1000 км (2333 км/ч, 12 апреля 1978 года).
С мая 1978 по июнь 1981 года работала лётчиком-испытателем Московского машиностроительного завода «Скорость» КБ А. С. Яковлева.
В августе 1980 года была командирована в отряд лётчиков-космонавтов. В июне 1981 года назначена космонавтом-исследователем от ММЗ «Скорость».

Во время полёта на космическом комплексе «Салют-7»-«Союз Т-5»-«Союз Т-7» Лебедев ежедневно документировал свой полёт и на основе записей в бортовых дневниках написал книги «Моё измерение» и "Материалы научных исследований бортинженера 1-й основной экспедиции орбитального комплекса «Союз Т-5»-«Салют-7»-«Прогресс», которые вышли в издательстве «Наука» (Москва) в 1994 и 2001 годах, соответственно.
В 2016 году вышла книга В. В. Лебедева под названием «Устоять на дороге в космос», в 2018 году — книга «Сохранить веру в себя», в 2021 — книга «Жизнь страны глазами космонавта», а в 2024 — книга «Сборник статей космонавта В.Лебедева, 1963—2023 гг.».
Является автором 193 научных работ, в том числе двенадцати монографий и 26 изобретений.

Совершил три полёта в космос в качестве командира корабля и пилотируемых орбитальных комплексов.
Первый полёт: с 9 апреля по 11 октября 1980 года
совместно с бортинженером Валерием Викторовичем Рюминым
на КК «Союз-35» и ОС «Салют-6». За время 185-суточного полёта на борту ОС «Салют-6» побывали
четыре экспедиции посещения, три из которых —
международные экипажи (с участием космонавтов Венгрии, Вьетнама, Кубы).
Осуществлены стыковки с грузовыми КК: «Прогресс-8», «Прогресс-9», «Прогресс-10».
Возвращение на Землю осуществлено на КК «Союз-37».
Второй полёт: с 14 по 22 мая 1981 года
полковник Л. И. Попов возглавлял полёт советско-румынского международного экипажа совместно с космонавтом-исследователем гражданином Социалистической Республики Румыния Думитру Прунариу на КК «Союз-40»
и орбитальном научно-исследовательском комплексе «Салют-6» — «Союз Т-4» — «Союз-40».
Третий космический полёт, совместно с бортинженером А. А. Серебровым и космонавтом-исследователем С. Е. Савицкой, Л. И. Попов выполнил с 19 по 27 августа 1982 года на КК «Союз Т-7» и орбитальном научно-исследовательском комплексе «Салют-7»-«Союз Т-5»-«Союз Т-7». Завершив полёты в космос, с 1982 по 1987 годы полковник Л. И. Попов являлся инструктором-космонавтом Центра подготовки космонавтов имени Ю. А. Гагарина.
Отчислен из отряда космонавтов 13 июня 1987 года в связи с поступлением в Военную академию Генерального штаба.
15 октября 1990 года полковнику Л. И. Попову было присвоено воинское звание «генерал-майор авиации».
С 24 июня 1989 года служил начальником 4-го управления Главного управления вооружений ВВС Министерства обороны СССР (с 1992 года Российской Федерации). С 22 июля 1993 года — начальник 3-го управления Главного управления заказов и поставок авиационной техники и вооружений ВВС. 11 ноября 1995 года приказом Министра обороны РФ N 01712 уволен в запас по возрасту.
Осуществляя общественную деятельность, возглавлял Правление общества «Россия-Румыния». Избирался депутатом Совета Союза Верховного Совета СССР 11-го созыва (1984—1989) от Тернопольской области. Живёт в Москве.

В 1984 году в качестве бортинженера совершила полёт на корабле «Союз Т-12» и орбитальной станции «Салют-7». Во время полёта первой из женщин совершила выход в открытый космос[8].
Готовилась к полёту на станцию «Салют-7» в 1986 году на корабле «Союз Т-15C» в качестве командира первого в мире полностью женского экипажа (три женщины-космонавта), но этот полёт не состоялся.
Из отряда космонавтов Савицкая ушла в звании майора в октябре 1993 года в связи с выходом на пенсию.
С 1993 года преподаёт в Московском авиационном институте, доцент, кандидат технических наук.
В 1993 году выдвигалась 1-м номером регионального списка «Гражданского союза» по городу Москве, избиралась от КПРФ[14].
7 февраля 2014 года на церемонии открытия зимних Олимпийских игр 2014 года в Сочи имела честь поднять флаг Российской Федерации в составе группы космонавтов Советского Союза и России во главе с Сергеем Крикалёвым[15].

С 1996 по 2019 год, в течение исполнения полномочий депутата Государственной Думы II, III, IV, V, VI и VII созывов, выступила соавтором 43 законодательных инициатив и поправок к проектам федеральных законов[16].

могла быть или была пикантная ситуация,,
утверждают, что космонавтам пытались поставить
задачу "зачатие на орбите",
как научный экспермент, под давлением.
Утверждают, были попытки унизить женщину космонавтку на орбите в Космосе.
Утверждают, была (хотя бы 1) попытка домогательства космонавтки космонавтом на орбите.
Автор видео называет мужчин космонавтов СССР: "мужской гарем",
что намёки на сексуальные отношения между мужчинами на орбите.

отрицают эти домыслы и слова:

После приземления, Савицкая на банкет с коллегами мужчинами не пошла.
И далее не общалась.
Но: есть фото и лица после преземления,
на фото нет неприязни в лицах команды космонавтов друг к другу.
Скорее всего, их просто оболгали "злые языки".

Такие были ощущения насчёт Савицкой, что она не женщина СССР, кто родилась в СССР: что то такое вот.
Она казалась внешне как американская шпионка ЦРУ:
парень, сменивший пол в Ж, иной системы воспитания.
А те двое мужчины на орбите: разведчики аналогично.
Отчего и история с фартуком и прочее: игра разведок ЦРУ и СВ России на орбите.
Не в Интересах ЦРУ было бы создание космической расы СССР:
тогда это межзвёздные путешествия.
Потому и закрытие, скрытие пола: закрытие главного секрета Савицкой: это была мужчина, кто родился пацаном, но ему сменили пол ещё когда маленький мальчик ребёнком:
- "Будешь девочка и дочка! А то прорва мужчин солдат и офицеров мне итак по службе военной надоели: вижу там их целый день! Допёрло! "
Смена пола это: упрямо настаивать называться под иной именем и фамилией: после смены пола и пол женский далее.
Отчего по документам, в Космос летела женщина.
А в реале: мужчина.
И мужчина защищал свою честь и как и мужчины по рождению, и как и женщины по жизни потом: от коллег - мужчин:: победить мужчину легче мужчине: тот двойственно понимает психологию мужчин.
Мы можем предполагать, что мужчины СВ России в силу профессии таки бисексуалы и немножко геи: их работа там, где нет доступа женщинам: и потому все женские роли исполняются мужчинами (сменившими имена, фамилии, пол, документы).
Причём, есть и исполняющие женские роли и без смены пола. Курьеры.
Я читала: мужское сношение практикуются также в ряде стран: и в армиях и спецслужбах, как настраивает мужские тела на ОДИНАКОВЫЕ РИТМ и ЦИКЛЫ РИТМЫ: а это то, что надо для слаженной работы и синхронности при исполнении задач.
Мужчине, кто сменил пол, болезненно, если его уже её называют мужчиной. Ему легче и правильнее: женщиной. Однако, сами такие мужчины "двойственны" или меняются психологически по шкале женщина-мужчина-женщина-мужчины по некоему ритму.
Я работала и мой коллега по работе и мой прямой босс требовал, чтобы его называли "она", но вне рабочей обстановке встречи, на прямой мой вопрос: вот мы называем его "Она" по его требованию. А Как он сам ощущает себя, Кто он* Мужчина или Женщина? Мой коллега ответил мне: "Мужчина". Но потом пошёл на операцию по удаления мужских половых признаков. желая трансформации себя в женщину. Он потратил и деньги, сменить и голос на женский. Это было не в России. Это было в Англии. И я плакала, узнав, он стериализовал себя: стал без пениса: зачать детей не сможет, и как женщина: бесплодный: без яйцеклеток и матки и влагалища. Бесплодный как и мужчина, и как и женщина. А пол: пол по ощущению: туда-сюда. Двойственно. Они все "странные". Беззащитные и странные и эгоисты, их кидает туда-сюда-обратно-туда-сюда-обратно. То истерики, то спокойные. То девушки пристающие к мужчинам, то мужчины, пристающие только к девушкам: быть в среде девушек, как я девушка! и опять переключение: полная утрата интереса к женщинам: а интерес только на мужчин: "как и я мужчина!" Они все очень интересные, чаще всего, и знают больше остальных, но ущербные туповатые, есть "что-то" где их мозги "буксуют как куриные": и тогда они "просто животные". Когда они в хорошем состоянии: лутшие мужчины (называющиеся себя девушки и женщины) на свете. Заботливые и помогут. А потом вжиг: и непойми что и ты без денег. Последний класс нанимали , имея доходы, прислугу, уборщиц, домоправительниц и нянь.
Жёны Профессоров, Академиков, Генералов, Маршаллов,
не были обязаны работать на кухне:
их доходы давали возможность иметь профессиональную прислугу:
повора и домоуправительницу.
Но на эти социальные статусы приходилась порой нагрзка контакты ,
включая и международные: и профессиональный повар требовался по статусу.
Мы жили в доме, наша соседка была жена Генерала,
и она предпочитала готовить сама: её предок работал
на Царской Кухне семьи Романовых,
она хранила рецепты Царской Кухни Романовых,
и предпочитала готовить сама, по ним:
полностью запечённый длинные осетёр, фаршированный (...),
фаршированная щука.
Щуку вымачивали в ванне с молоком и травами,
потом запекали уже.
А какие вкусные пироги ! как пирожные лёгкое тонкое тесто!
Жена Генерала, Командир Первой атомной подлодки СССР,
лицо статусное.
Доход был иметь прислугу: а: сама. Это знания от предка повара семьи Романовых.
Жёны Маршелов могли и не готовить сами (да и Генеральши).
Но мы читаем: Жена Леонида Ильича Брежнева любила готовить сама.
И Леонид Ильич Брежнев супругу свою не обижал. Ел, что она ему сготовила.
Быть ЖЕНОЙ в СССР - уметь готовить.
У меня ТОЖЕ бла ситуация ,
мне было лет 17-18.
Моя мама меня к кухне не подпускала: учись! Это успеется!
Попала я в компанию,
вечеринка была, все одного возраста, все студенты.
Пришла потанцевать на диско.
А меня на кухню: мама (стюардесса) в рейсе
и папа (пилот) в рейсе .
Попросили котлеты с дичи сготовить.
Я и обычные не знала как.
Там- или с олени или с косули.
Стала готовить. Как смогла на авось.
Мальчишки пришли: как ты готовишь? это с дичи?
такие котлеты надо тоньше делать:
вот так: показали. А то не прожарятся.
Я сказала: раз знаешь сам? так и готовь сам?
И ушла с кухни.
Дичь не продавали в магазинах.
Ну и? парни сами жарили котлеты с дичи,
их мама - стюардесса и папа-пилот научили.
Я потом домой пришла.
А мама меня опять с кухни выгнала:
- Наготовишься ещё, выйдешь замуж!
- ГОлод научит! да и книги есть.
- Иди отдыхай! учись или книгу почитай.
- Я сама тут.
И я потом посуду мыла за всеми.
Хоть какая то помощь .
Неожиданно на 6 лет ,
отец и мать и брат уехали работать (СССР) по контракту
в Монголию. Отпуска там.
И я осталась: студентка и 3х комнатная квартира.
И кухня и холодильник и полная беспомощность:
что и как готовится?
Я пошла в ресторан: питалась там.
Потом я по книжкам искала рецепты и описание,
и дальше просто старалась, чтобы вкус, вид, качество,
и сервировка, эталона ресторана была как то соблюдена.
Не всегда получалось. То пересолю. То переперчу.
Как раз в гости гость пришёл: мы его солёным борщом с аджикой и перцем накормили.
А ему почему то это понравилось: посетовал, но съел всё.
И сделал мне предложение бросить моего мужа и быть его женой.
Смешно так.
Трое мужчин сделаи предложение мне: а я готовить совсем не умела.
Первый мой муж.
Потом гость этот.
Потом 2ой муж: он мне запретил входить на кухню:
- Это не для тебя. Ты моя женщина и моя жена: я хочу, чтобы
твои волосы и одежда не пахли бы кухней: ты не кухарка, а Моя жена.
- Тебе 3 часа надо потом и ванну принять, и волосы уложить, и макияж сделать, а мне? Сготовил: в душ: и уже высох?
Я сомневаюсь, дочь Маршалла СССР готовила на кухне еду?
Имея в доме и маму, и, вероятно, и прислугу? Статус есть статус.
А жена военного офицера? по гарнизонам? Готовь сама?
Раз Космонавты сССР не имели статуса Генерал или Маршалл,
то и не имели дохода прислугу в доме содержать?
И женились: иметь прислугу в доме? Постирает? бельё высушит-выгладит? Сготовит?
Да и продукты сама купит? а прийдёшь с работы: обнимет: - Муж Мой! ???
Мужчины эгоисты и им удобство иуход за самоё важны и порой они женятся на кухарках: кто хорошо сготовит: как самим некогда, а есть хорошо хочется каждый день?
От Женщин в СССР Домострой требовал уметь готовить быть женой и супругой.
А В США феменистки и на Западе надавили на мир создать мужчин, кто готовят сами.
Но тут ещё другое, другой аспект:
В Армию СССР НЕ БРАЛИ женщин в Солдаты и на опасное.
Когда мужчина СССР (Если не немецкие и английские и прочие разведчики) даёт
Женщине фартук показывая ЕЁ пол Женский: это не всегда унижение:
это ПОНИМАНИЕ: ты-ЖЕНЩИНА
И ПОТОМУ где ОПАСНО ТРУДНО - Я ВОЗЬМУ ЭТО НА СЕБЯ И СЕБЯ ПРИКРОЮ.
Это был МЕНТАЛИТЕТ МУЖЧИН СССР - что трудно , тяжело и опасно: взять не себя.

Я с бывшего СССР. с Латвии.
Муж - британец, англичанин.
Мы женаты.
Делаем вместе покупки на неделю.
Приезжаем с супермаркета:

мне мой муж британец и говорит:
- У нас тут в Англии РАВНОПРАВИЕ ПОЛОВ. А ПОТОМУ мы этот шоппинг мешочки
сейчас понесём домой ПОРОВНУ ПО ВЕСУ - ты и я-попалам!
Я стою.
Босоножки н тонких шпильках.
Нести мне мешочки: каблуки полетят менять: каблуки (тут там нет) Ю
тогда? Босоножки новые? Сколько это мой проход с мешочками ему потом ободётся?
Новые босоножки в Англии то дорогие?
Ладно. Не спорю. Равноправите так равноправие.
Тащу.
ПРИЦЕПИЛСЯ: Что вот ОН тащит мешочек ПОТЯЖЕЛЕЕ ВЕСОМ? ЧТО НЕЧЕСТНО? НЕРАВНОПАРВНО?
Я с ужасом вижу: мужчина идиот.
Я ему говорю:
- А у тебя матка и влагалище в теле есть? дорогой? быть равноправными?
- Что ты делать будешь, если у меня матка вывалится наружу от веса что ты мне тут тащить дал? Операция будет нуна назад вправить в больнице?
- Да и каблуки? смотри? уже нет? Теперь новые босоножки надо ехать покупать?
И он вроде что-то понял.
Но ощущения чуждости и что мой 2ой муж: британец: идиот: он оставил сильное.
Это вот к воспросу о РАВНОПАРВИИ.

Вернулся на корабль.
Но перед тем улетела и третья с женсокго экипажа в открытый Космос.

И уже сам голыми руками заталкивал в шлюз, кого находил с женсокго экипажа,
и прямо так уже и без скафандра, скидывал всех в Открытый Космос6 вон с космического корабля.
Внутри всё было покрыто кровью менструирующих космонавток и астронавток.
Их менструальная кровь в летящих шариках покрыла его лицо, рот, нос, волосы, одежду. Он чувстовал: задыхается. Задохнулся. и погиб.
На землю никто не вернулся.

- Что -то не получается. Связь с станцией потеряна, телеметри нет. ВЫ уверены, что то наша станция падает на Вас? Может: Китайская? Индийская? У нас в ЦУПе неттелеметрии, что наша станция падает на вас!
Президент России, задумчиво:
- Хотя, если наша? Там на всяк случай была установленно секретно ядерная небольшая бомба защиты станции от инопланетян?
Президент России:
- Эвакуируйте людей с места падения объекта с космоса. Вдруг это что-то ядерное и это и взорвётся?
- Бип-Бип-Бип-Бип.
- Связи нет.
- Ну вот! Упал! С девочками на борту всегда так! К несчастью!
В плане. Страшновато как вариант был в СССР: тогда:
послать чисто женский экипаж - одни девушки и женщины - космонавтки и Савицкую с ними на Орбиту.

Родилась 8 августа 1948 года в Москве. Отец — советский лётчик и военачальник, участник Великой Отечественной войны, дважды Герой Советского Союза, маршал авиации Евгений Яковлевич Савицкий (1910—1990)[5]. Мать — Лидия Павловна Савицкая (1924—1986), в годы Великой Отечественной войны служила в 3-м истребительном авиационном корпусе, которым командовал Евгений Савицкий; впоследствии работала школьным учителем[6]. Отец, выросший беспризорником, имел неординарные взгляды на воспитание дочери, с детства предоставлял ей полную свободу — школу Светлана посещала факультативно, но при этом училась на «отлично». Небо как профессию тоже выбрала сама[7].
В 1966 году окончила московскую школу № 637 (ныне ГБОУ «Школа № 1465 имени Адмирала Флота Советского Союза Н. Г. Кузнецова»). Поступила в Московский авиационный институт (МАИ), который окончила в 1972 году. Во время учёбы в МАИ также училась в Калужском авиационном лётно-техническом училище, которое окончила в 1971 году, получив квалификацию «лётчик-инструктор»[8]. С 1969 по 1977 год Светлана Савицкая входила в состав сборной команды СССР по пилотажному спорту, в 1970 году выиграла первенство мира по этому виду на поршневых самолётах в Великобритании. Установила 3 мировых рекорда по парашютному спорту в групповых прыжках из стратосферы и 18 авиационных рекордов на реактивных самолётах. В 1970 году ей было присвоено звание заслуженного мастера спорта СССР[6][9].
После окончания института работала лётчиком-инструктором, училась в школе лётчиков-испытателей. В 1976 году начала работать лётчиком-испытателем НПО «Взлёт». Выполняла полёты на самолётах «МиГ-21», «МиГ-25», «Су-7», «Ил-18», «Ил-28»[8].
В 1975—1978 годах установила на учебно-боевом МиГ-25ПУ 4 женских рекорда высоты и скорости полёта[10]:
мировой рекорд скорости (2683,44 км/ч, 22 июня 1975 года);
рекорд высоты полета (21 209,9 м, 31 августа 1977 года);
рекорд скорости на дистанции 500 км (2466,1 км/ч, 21 октября 1977 года);
рекорд скорости на замкнутом маршруте протяжённостью 1000 км (2333 км/ч, 12 апреля 1978 года).
С мая 1978 по июнь 1981 года работала лётчиком-испытателем Московского машиностроительного завода «Скорость» КБ А. С. Яковлева[8].
В августе 1980 года была командирована в отряд лётчиков-космонавтов. В июне 1981 года назначена космонавтом-исследователем от ММЗ «Скорость»[8].

В 1982 году
в качестве космонавта-исследователя
совершила полёт на кораблях «Союз Т-5», «Союз Т-7» и орбитальной станции «Салют-7».
В 1984 году в качестве бортинженера совершила полёт на корабле «Союз Т-12» и орбитальной станции «Салют-7». Во время полёта первой из женщин совершила выход в открытый космос[8].
Готовилась к полёту на станцию «Салют-7» в 1986 году на корабле «Союз Т-15C» в качестве командира первого в мире полностью женского экипажа (три женщины-космонавта), но этот полёт не состоялся.
Из отряда космонавтов Савицкая ушла в звании майора в октябре 1993 года в связи с выходом на пенсию.
С 1993 года преподаёт в Московском авиационном институте, доцент, кандидат технических наук.
В 1993 году выдвигалась 1-м номером регионального списка «Гражданского союза» по городу Москве, избиралась от КПРФ[14].
7 февраля 2014 года на церемонии открытия зимних Олимпийских игр 2014 года в Сочи имела честь поднять флаг Российской Федерации в составе группы космонавтов Советского Союза и России во главе с Сергеем Крикалёвым[15].
Законотворческая деятельность
С 1996 по 2019 год, в течение исполнения полномочий депутата Государственной Думы II, III, IV, V, VI и VII созывов, выступила соавтором 43 законодательных инициатив и поправок к проектам федеральных законов[16].

Вторая экспедиция посещения орбитального научного комплекса «Салют-7» — «Союз Т-5».
В это время на станции «Салют-7» находился первый долговременный экипаж: Анатолий Березовой и Валентин Лебедев.
Во время пребывания на станции одновременно пяти космонавтов были проведены многие научные эксперименты.
Светлана Савицкая, через девятнадцать лет после Валентины Терешковой, становится второй в мире женщиной-космонавтом.
Космонавты Леонид Попов, Александр Серебров и Светлана Савицкая вернулись на Землю 27 августа 1982 года в 15:04 (UTC) на «Союз Т-5». Продолжительность их полёта составила 7 суток 21 час 52 минуты.
Основной экипаж станции «Салют-7» вернулся на Землю на корабле «Союз Т-7» 10 декабря 1982 года.

Женщина есть женщина. Устала всё таки и эмоционально, и морально, и физически:
нужен был сон и отдых, видно, перегрузки полёта аки сказались, как и эмоции.
На фотках нет недружелюбия : наоборот. Космонавты выглядят дружелюбно.
Мужчины -космонавты были женатые мужчины и ИМ ТО БЫЛО КАКОВО?? ДОМА ЖЁНЫ волнуются? Ревнуют?
Мой итог по видео по Ютюбу::: скорее: фальшивка.
В составе экипажа НЕТ ВРАЧЕЙ ВООБЩЕ И СОВСЕМ.
А при зачатии по программе был бы врач. Там: не было.
Так что сплетни.
Бытовое: 5 разных людей, чтото и могло покоробить, и вызвать эмоции.
Но, скорей всего: перегрев и был нужет отдых.
Я сама женщина и устану когда, то я засыпаю и всё. Отключаюсь.
ВАлентина Терешкова тоже имела такое на орбите: её по рассказам не могли разбудить: устала и спалаю
А там полёт: нагрузка.
А ещё:: увидеть и поддержать родных.
