And I dissolved in bliss not born of Earth,
And angels gathered round in radiant mirth.
Like my white cats in warmth and light they lay,
While in their golden glow I bathed and swayed.
A Rainbow Gate shall open wide for me —
Into the realm of Light and Joy set free.
O God, bless us in this human trial;
I long had waited — and He came the while,
And fairy tales grew real again, alive.
For life without Love soon turns cold and dry;
Its meaning fades, its colors slowly die.
All becomes dim, gray, and worn,
And you no longer know what you yearn for.
Yet deep within, the longing is to rise —
To fly, to live in joy beneath wide skies.
And all of this, the heart is dreaming of,
Is given by Universal Love.
