The City of Light

The City of Light
Перевод на английский Д. Ковалевского с помощью ИИ

The mountains blaze at sunset’s hour —
The Gods have lit their sacred fire.
The clouds shift colors as they turn,
A divine kaleidoscope that burns.

Somewhere beyond those drifting skies
Live our Father, sisters, brothers wise —
Our angels and star-born kin,
And the Holy Mother, crown of all within.

I shall unfold my birdlike wings,
Lonely, misunderstood by earthly things,
And rise above this mortal sphere,
To soar across the planet clear.

How beautiful you are, my Earth!
I mirror lakes of azure birth,
The sapphire seas with shining shores,
Emerald forests, golden floors.

And endlessly the City gleams —
A blaze of seven jeweled beams.
Holy faces turn to me,
No happier souls have I seen to be.

These are the spirits, risen high,
Who soared above life’s restless cry.
Through steadfast labor, hand and heart,
They shaped that sacred realm apart —

The wondrous City, bright and pure.
Soon it shall rise in form secure,
Revealed in splendor to all sight;
“How fair it is!” the world shall cite.

And rumor shall across Earth run,
Till everywhere the work’s begun —
To build God’s Kingdom far and broad,
The Cities of the Living God.

And Christ shall come, and angels sing,
Their hymns through every land shall ring.
Each soul will yearn to strive and give,
Not for the self — for all to live.

Through labor, spiritual and true,
And earthly work with purpose new,
Shall blessing, joy, and success descend
On every heart that seeks the end.

Now I return unto my dwelling,
To my bright and fragrant garden’s telling.
An Angel waits — my Guardian Guide.
Come then — let us build the City of Light.
