About Predestination and Foresight in Christianity

According to the Explanatory Dictionary: Foresight: “to know in advance, to assume the possibility of the appearance or occurrence of something. Predestination: “the will of the deity, which determines human behavior and everything that happens in the world.”

Both are inherent in God. Predestination is “the will of the deity, which determines human behavior and everything that happens in the world.” It talks about the laws of the physical world and the laws of development and behavior of human society, but this does not apply to each individual person, with the exception of some created by God for specific purposes, for example, John the Baptist.

Foresight is contained in predestination. The creation of people was the will of God - His predestination. However, according to foreknowledge, God knew their future even before their creation. God can change His intention for every person, as well as for any people, according to their attitude towards God and His instructions. But God knows all this in advance, that people will have such intentions and He will change His decision. An example of this is when God wanted to destroy all the Jews, with the exception of Moses, but then God, at the request of Moses, abandoned His intention.

God, in his predestination, on the basis of the foreseen, changes certain actions to implement the predestination unchanged. However, people do not participate in the final result of the foreseen, but live and act in its process. Therefore, they participate in all its stages when God can change one or another of His decisions. The immutability of God in the implementation of predestination, but not in His actions. If a person chooses the path pleasing to God, then God will forgive the person and save Him. Here a person determines his choice, the right to which God gave him, and God determines his decision according to the choice that a person makes. However, God knows all this in advance. The creation of people and Golgotha, which is salvation for people who believe in the Son of God, are all the predestination of God for people. Also, predestination for believers is that after death on earth they will live together with God. For every person, God's predestination is realized through faith in Jesus Christ. God does not force anyone to come to Himself.
