Does Trump have the right to bomb Iran?

Lately, I've been hearing Western journalists on every news channel asking the same question to the garrulous 47th US President: has Trump decided whether to attack Iran or wait until a deal is made, where the US dictates the terms of a humiliating deal for Iran, naturally through the threat of military force?

And no bastard will have the courage to ask whether Trump has the right to attack Iran in defiance of international rules, even the UN mandate authorizing such military operations against an independent country!?

And if this authorization is not actually granted, then Trump automatically becomes a bloody international criminal, and his accusations against Iran are just a sham!?

And then he falls directly under international prosecution by the ICC. Let me remind you that the ICC is the International Criminal Court—the first-ever permanent international criminal justice body.
 Is its mission to prosecute those responsible for the most serious crimes that threaten international peace and security?

Why don't Western journalists ask these pointed and honest questions of the insolent hegemon, who has arrogated the sole right to judge everyone from his own vantage point?

I don't even know if they lack intelligence or courage, because, as it turns out, they're nothing but cowardly jackals before their leader, Shere Khan, doing nothing but bowing to him.
