The Church and Its Purpose
Only when the church gathers in the name of Christ, we can say that this is the Christian Church. The Lord said briefly about the concept of the church, “where two or
three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). This is the simplest Church of Christians, to which you can rank a FAMILE in which the believing father and
The mother is already a church and is a church.
When the Lord spoke to Peter about the creation of His church (Matthew 16:18), He spoke of the TRUE Church, which has nothing to do with the building. The true Church is composed of the total number of all believers (born above), beginning on the Day of Pentecost. How many such people are currently in every Christian local church is known only to God, and to every one of those born again only about himself.
First of all, it is necessary to pay attention to the verses of Christ (Matthew (16:18): “I say to you, you Peter, and on this stone I will create my Church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it; and I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven: and that you will bind on earth, it will be bound in heaven, and what will be allowed on the earth.”
Here, the purpose of God in the creation of the Church begins to open with a view.
And Peter took the first step when on Pentecost day he opened the doors of Christianity. Peter’s sermon became a real church preaching, although this collection can not yet be called a church, but baptized after repentance, and there were about three thousand of them, the First Christian Church was formed. And they were constantly in the teachings of the apostles, in the COMMUNITY, and the refractive stone of the bread, and in prayers.
But the believers were together” (Acts 2:42:44).
This was one of Peter’s actions, which was pleasing to God and refers to the words: “What you bind on earth will be connected in heaven, and what you will resolve on earth will be allowed in heaven.” These words refer to the relationship between believers about the establishment of close fraternal relations between them, which should be established on the basis of love for each other already during the life of the Earth.
Christians in the church of the ground science to be all together with the Lord and a friend
with a friend for the Hereafter. The word of the Lord of God gives the Light to life to us: “If we walk in the light, like He is in the light, we have COMMUNIation with each other, and the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, purifies us of all sin” (1 John 1:7).
As we see the COMMUNIation with each other, it is important in the church!
The word “connected” (Matthew 16:19) does not need to be understood primitively. To link this means to create from believers parishioners of the local church a family of loved ones living in general spiritual and vital interests. It is very important when parishioners (members of the church) have COMMUNICATION with each other both in the walls of the church and outside them, arranging communication on different topics.
This is necessary to overcome the alienation that exists between people, as it is known from the practice that people often can not stay with each other for a long time, begin to be burdened after a while. How then can we live in one big church? Therefore, the word to associate, said by the Lord so great for Christians!!!
The service in the Christian church is, the first Thing, the prayers together, in which we should be our thanksgiving to God the Father for Jesus Christ. I think,
Every beginning of our prayers, believers should begin with thanksgiving to the Son of God Jesus Christ for His Calvary and love for people. The Bible says, “Therefore, by Him, to offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of the mouth that glorifies the name of Him. Do not forget the benevolence and sociability, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
Our prayers in the church are our REAL communion with Jesus Christ.
This is a holy place for believers and it is formed by them. “For my house shall be called the house of prayer for all nations.” 56:7). “And he said unto them, It is written, my house shall be called a house of prayer.” 21:13). “And he taught them, saying, Is it not written, My house is called to all the nations a house of prayer?” (Mk. 11:17). “Saying them, it is written, My house is the house of prayer.” 19:46). In the Orthodox Church, when serving, a lot of time is given to prayers and is carried out in the Liturgy.
The Church is not only a gathering of believers. In the church come "not healthy,
and the sick” (Matthew 9:12) - sick, wounded people, unbelieving sling men of the earth, seeking God and His love, needing God in their lives, and also helping Him.
Christians must learn to live together by being on earth.
The Lord’s words about the Church are very important: “Truly I say to you, what you will bind on earth will be bound in heaven; and what you will allow on earth will be allowed in heaven. (Matthew, 18:18). The main thing is contained in these words, some of which, first of all, are the words of the God of Christ “TOBE ON THE EARTH”, to associate what will happen in the future.
In Matthew the Lord told Peter about the intention to create a church only after the recognition of Peter, which was revealed to him by the Heavenly Father: the recognition that Jesus is the “Son of the living God”, chapter 16-th, verses 15-17.
