When Power and Violence Are Confused
When law stops distinguishing between them.
Law should not limit power.Law should recognize it and justify it.
Because power is not destruction.;Power is the ability to protect,to take responsibility,to act when others cannot.
Sometimes power even breaks the law —;but preserves life.
Violence is different.
Violence does not create. It uses the weak.It destroys.
And it is violence that must be limited by law.
But at a certain point, everything turns upside down.
And then violence begins to hide behind the law, while power begins to look like a violation.
And then the person who saves becomes guilty, while the one who destroys is justified.
This is the substitution.

When Power and Violence Are Confused
The substitution begins where the distinction between action and motive disappears.
From the outside, actions may look the same. But their nature is different.
One breaks a door to save.Another — to enter and destroy.
Outwardly, it is the same.In essence — the opposite.
Power is always connected to responsibility. It does not exist on its own.
A strong person does not simply act —they are responsible for what they do.
That is why power is restrained. That is why it is precise. That is why it does not need to prove itself.
Violence is the opposite.
It arises where there is no inner foundation.
It is always excessive.Always more than necessary.Always directed at those who are weaker.
Power protects boundaries. Violence erases them.
Power acts when it is necessary. Violence acts because it can.
And this is where the line lies that law must be able to see.
If law is blind to this difference —it begins to work against the human being.
It stops distinguishing between protection and destruction. It equates them.
And then the most dangerous condition emerges:when violence becomes lawful,;and power becomes punishable.
In such a world, a person loses their bearings.
They no longer understand where the boundary of what is acceptable lies.
They begin to fear acting —even when it is necessary to save.
And at the same time, they get used to not noticing destruction.
This is how powerlessness is formed.
Not because a person has no power —but because it becomes forbidden.
