My soul - just fly, just fly,

My soul, just fly, just fly,
A tired bird from my chest's cage.
Spread your wings out wide and high,
Throw off the body's heavy, burdened stage,
So I can sing to you so light,
And sorrow becomes life's bright, gentle light.

Fly to where freedom calls,
Fly to where the space is wide.
I want to see the sunset once more,
I want to see the sunrise again, with my own eyes.
The flight of stars at night, their shining bright,
The spells of unfulfilled desires, taking flight.

The salty wind caresses waves so slow,
And the clouds are peaceful in the sky's embrace.
And I — a prisoner of my fate, I know,
Keep searching for the words that find their place.
To take a plot from memory's core,
To paint a portrait of the happiness I wore.
